About 4 years ago, I bought 4 tires for one car which I sold a while ago. He was reasonable back then. Then... Last week I went to ask about 4 tires for my 2005 Explorer. He didn't have anything appealing in stock. Then, he offered to sell me 4 tires off an employee's truck for $1600. I looked those tires up online. I blew a tire when someone pulled out in front of me on orange avenue by the hospital. I made it to doctors on time but tire was totally flat and mangled . I had to wait for the truck to put on spare tire which was bad . I had only minutes to get to Mikes before they closed . I was in desperate need of a pair of tires. So in my yelp app, I was searching for a good used tire place or location. And I just so happen to call Mike's used tire shop on Orange Blossom Trail. And boy oh boy was I glad I did. When I called the man on the phone with very nice and friendly he told me that he had the tires that I needed! And then he quoted me the price for the two tires that I need for my Toyota and I was totally blown away. I could not believe they were so reasonable in price. Meaning that I would get very good use tires and they will put them on my car mount and balance them for less than $100. Needless to say I was elated. We came out of a store to discover a flat tire. We live an hour and a half away from Orlando. It was after 6pm on a Saturday. Our options were extremely limited. Mike's Used Tires was one of the very few places still open and was the closest to our location. Hands down the best auto service I've ever received! They had the donut off, our flat tire patched and back on the car, helped put the donut tire back in our trunk, and even helped reinstall our car's base for the sound system (it went on top of the spare tire). We were in and out in, at most, 10 minutes, but I'd say it wasn't even that long. It was extremely affordable, but I'm sure that's because we just needed our tire patched. The staff was also extremely friendly and just conversed with us while they worked. I can't speak for any of their other services, but I wish I had one of these near me because I wouldn't take my care anywhere else for tire issues! 10/10 recommend read more

Went in for an alignment. They said they were finished in less than 20 minutes. They did not fix anything and an alignment takes at least 30 minutes. Waste of $60, do not recommend to anyone trying to get an alignment. read more

I have bad luck. I'm talking broken mirrors, black cats stepping on sidewalk cracks while walking underneath ladders bad luck. And that's exactly why every few months, like clock work, I wake up to find myself with a flat tire and a quart of blood stolen (but that's a story for another time). Having zero masculine chromosomes and less than zero knowledge on cars and car accessories, I decided (based on the recommendation of my stepfather) to seek salvation at Mike's Tires. Their gruff and greasy staff grunt at you as you arrive making you feel at home and signaling you to drive your car onto one of their jack-ramp-things. And as long as you are capable of doing that, the rest is in the very capable and dirty hands of the Mike's Tires mechanics. Inside is where you pay the owner (the eponymous "Mike," I presume). This intimate building adjoining the garage is so chalk-full of tires that there's almost no room for good customer service to fit. ALMOST, I stress as right when you get to the edge of the brink of questioning the quality of Mike's Tires, the owner flashes you a sly smile that warms your heart and makes you feel like all is right in the world. These guys are the real deal. The amount of tire and repair shops on OBT is overwhelming. I imagine that this competition leads to great customer service in attempts to retain customers and promote via word of mouth. Mikes tires definitely follows this strategy. After coming here for my Izuzu rodeo they replaced two of my tires for 30 a tire. I walked out of there with two very great tires installed for $60 flat. Today my mom needed tires so I took her down to Mikes. They helped us out big time replacing all 4 tires for $100 bucks. The tires were very close to new and were all Goodyear. The staff was very friendly and also found that one of here tire bearings was very loose. We knew something was up prior to coming here so it was very cool that they spotted the issue and offered to fix it. After losing our mechanic a few months ago it looks like Mikes will be our new place for tires and tune ups. read more

i Took my car to this shop on OBT for a used tire and to try their service and product. they put a used tire that had barely any life to it and when i got home i noticed that it has a rusty nail. they charge me $42.50 . don't waist your time and money go to walmart and get a new tire. read more

No Bull$#1t, these guys are the REAL DEAL. Got 4 new tires put on, $80/pc, in UNDER AN HOUR... On a SUNDAY?!? Not only did I spend UNDER what I expected to for this maintenance, It was done extremely quickly by skilled professionals. Despite what you see at nearly EVERY shop in orlando, these gentlemen were courteous and professional, and genuinely seemed to take pride in their expeditious work. I'm returning tomorrow to have the wheels aligned, however they did so well on the mount and balance (all included in price) that I'd feel content forgoing the alignment if I were in a tight spot, but who's complaining for $40? Also must mention that they did all of this without an appointment, however I did call first, and would expect them to be fairly busy on a week day. They also did all of this without a SINGLE UPSELL, BAIT & SWITCH, OR "HIDDEN FEE" Truly a rose in a garden on thorns.
