I highly recommend this place! I had an unfortunate encounter with a curb that resulted not only in a popped tire but also a bent rim. I couldn't replace the tire because the rim was too badly bent. I was told to come here instead of trying to buy a new rim. My overall experience was excellent. I called to see if they took appointments but you don't need one, they take walk-ins. It was already a stressful morning, but the woman at the front desk was so kind that she put me at ease. The gentleman was also very nice and presented me with two repair options. The team carefully examined each wheel, explaining in detail what they were looking for and how they planned to fix the problem. Was quoted a price which doubled when I got there the owner of the place seem to be very aggressive and basically showed me that my business wasn't wanted, the owner quoted me $50 a rim however when I arrived there the price was then changed to 300 dollars all total the price was 490 dollars plus taxes. Curbed my wheel, googled wheel repair and drove to them 30 mins later. Told them I couldn't leave it that day but I would be back next week. When I returned they told me I would have to pick it up in the morning. I explained why my schedule wouldn't allow me to make it back for several days and they told me they would have it done before they closed. After I picked it up I couldn't tell where the damage was at all. They told me the repair would be difficult to match exactly because the color was specific to the manufacturer but they got it super close. I got my calipers painted here and very pleased with the final product. Price was very competitive and dropped my car around noon and it was done by end of day. They use a high heat paint and then add the logo of yours choosing (included in price) and then clear coat with the logo already on so it's got the added protection of not rubbing off or getting damaged with high heat during use. Rim Repair on my 2019 Toyota C-HR Two years in a row, I managed to end up with a flat tire by hitting a triangular median that most people (clearly including myself) wouldn't expect to find in the middle of a wide, long curve.  The first time, I suppose I was lucky that I ended up solely with a flat tire and no damage to the rim.  This time, it was the opposite.  I hit the median so hard, it forced all the air out (leading me to believe i had punctured the tire and would need to purchase another), however, as it turned out, i dented my rim and the tire was actually in tact.  One may see that as somewhat of a relief, unless they're familiar with how much more costly replacing a rim tends to be versus a tire, which depending on the size, isn't cheap either.  I dreaded the thought of having to replace BOTH so I was mildly relieved that my rim was the only concern.  Mildly because I didn't expect to find a place that would be able to repair it for a reasonable price.  That is, until I was referred to Dr. Rim by a gentleman currently finishing up some body work on my vehicle.  He had first checked the junkyards but upon referring me to Dr. Rim, he stated "They're the only ones I trust."  I can now definitely understand WHY! I took one look at their website and the first picture to come up was of a rim that was completely MANGLED, making mine look like a very minor repair. I dropped it off on a Saturday morning. Upon evaluating the damage, the technician noted another area that had been damaged, but less severely.  They advised it would be ready Monday afternoon and the cost woud be $150 after tax.  Not bad at all, considering what I anticipated. The facility is roughly a half hour from my house, however, on my way to pick it up, my gps re-routed me 3-4 times, taking me on & off of the FL Tpke several times, changing my arrival time to 6:15pm. Each time my ETA changed, I called to advise I had been driving much longer than expected but finally appeared to be on the right route. The receiptionist advised that the boss normally has everyone out by 6:10pm so she was unable to guarentee anyone would still be there to mount the tire when I arrived. I was frantic, however, when I finally pulled in at 6:14pm, imagine how truly thrilled I was to see 5 men waiting on me!  I nearly burst into tears, so appreciative.  When I saw my rim, it looked BRAND NEW! The cost, the quality of service, and the fact that they waited on my arrival to be sure I was satisfied with the work and was taken care of was incredible! If you find yourself in need of a new rim, take it to Dr Rim FIRST. You'd be AMAZED at what they can do & for an exceptionally reasonable price. read more

So i drop off 3 20inch wheels with real minor rashes on the lips. The longes was 6 inches but vary thin. Two of them they made the repair right the damaged areas barely can tell the difference in color but did not affect the wheels.look. at a minimum. The 3rd wheel seems they got happy painted half the wheel with a matt black instead of satin. They didnt need to paint the whole wheel for the smal edge. But they did. I address this at the moment of pickup and one of the employees said.. it will later match when its washed or rain water hits. He should be reevaluated as a employee. They take the wheel with confidence to.make the correct repair. And painted the whole wheel. With drips fish eye and over spray all in between. They obviously dont have standard in the buisness they promote. As the owner said he saw nothing wrong with the job. You didn't have to paint the wheel in the first place. Now the wheel is worse then when it came in. Owner made seem like i needed.to accept the wheel this way. That colors wont ever match. What they charge is for this headaches is not worth it. I understand there are customers with less standards. On how they look at it. But clearly the wheel did not look the same. And fail to recognize that at there convinience. A simple touch up turn in to and different color drips and overspray on a wheel. Not to mention my customer has been waiting for a week for the wheels to be return corrected properly. The sad part they are not aware how there quality doesnt match the expectation. No standards No accountability Only excuses Time wasted and money. Can I just tell you hesitant I was in choosing a place that would not completely make my rim worse? I must have done research for the past three days around the clock including looking at reviews, before and after pictures, and getting price quotes. I am super happy that I chose to go with this place, because not only is the staff extremely friendly, but they run a tight ship. I cannot even tell where the damage was on my rim that had curb rash. The receptionist was extremely friendly and assured me that they would be able to fix my issue without a doubt. I expressed my concern about The color not matching the other three rims and the tech assured me that they use new paint so could get 80% to the original color. I had them paint 1 piece wheels for me black and the paint quality isn't good at all. There was a lot of derby under the clear coat and I went to wipe it thinking it was dirt with my finger and the paint chipped a pretty big size. All 4 rims have clear imperfections. LOTS of clear imperfections which is not good at all for longevity. Paid $1100 for cheap quality. read more

Either I got poor service or this shop can't do a proper paint job. Took in 4 rims to be resurfaced/repainted with one rim needing damage repair. They did a tremendous job on repairing the damage, like it never happened. Truly amazing in that aspect. But the paintwork had garbage, fisheyes and runs all in it. When I asked the tech why, I was told that it was the material of the rim that caused it. Now I'm no painter or chemical engineer, but anyone clearly knows that if you don't prep a surface before you paint, the paint's gonna look horrible. No reputable paint shop would release this kind of product to the customer; they wouldn't be in business if they did. At Dr. Rim, I got this excuse and wanting to rush loading the rims in my car before I could fully inspect. Didn't bother arguing for them to repaint since it was clear they wouldn't accept responsibility. Plus they dupe you into prepaying, so they already have your money. Overall waste of my time and money (except for the damage repair) so these rims will all be blasted down and powder coated elsewhere. Be warned, this place is NOT a paint shop, it's a rim repair shop. read more

I cannot say enough about this place. Truly incredible work. I only had my new car for about 6 weeks before getting some curb rash. I spent half a day looking through forums and DIY kits online before finding Dr. Rim. I took it in around 5:30 pm and they told me they could fix it at 9 the next morning. When they looked at it they told me they probably couldn't match the color exactly because of BMWs OEM paint. I was fine with that because I knew it would still look way better than curb rash. What they did, as you can see in the picture, is amazing. I have to get right up next to it to see where the work was done and even then it takes me a minute to find it. Terrible service. I went there about 2 years ago so I chose to get there again because at that time they did a good job. Called a day before to ask about an estimate, gave them the model of the car so they knew what rims I needed to repair, they told me a price and I double checked that they knew what I needed. I drove 40miles to get there early morning before they opened, when I said who I was they gave me a different price, 30% more than what they told me over the phone; I didn't know of other place so I said yes and then they said I needed to leave my car for the next day. That means you can get the work done from 9am until next day. So I went a different place and got all 3 rims fixed by 6pm same day. Never going back there, you shouldn't either. read more

Worst experience ever. Horrible customer service and hardly anyone there speaks English. When I picked up my car it was dirty with Oil handprints all over it and the emblems that go in the center of the rim were chewed and scratched. I told them that I was not going to pay for the vehicle until these things were fixed and returned in the condition i left it with them . one of the mechanics then decided to block my car in with their car until I did pay. Completely unprofessional. Eight months later I returned because the clearcoat is coming off on them and they were absorbing the oils becoming stained . They blamed me for using a harsh chemical on the rim which I did not do. I take immaculate care of my car. they said there's nothing they can do about it and refused to fix them. This is what i get for taking my car to a discount place. I would NOT recommend this to ANYONE! read more

I know this is long, but read this before you do business with them. I'm amazed at how this business has such high reviews unless they have lots of friends writing positive comments for them. My story begins with calling them about a wheel with a minor crack in it, they told me it would be $60 to weld. I brought the wheel in and the price went up to $70 because it was on the "inside of the wheel". Ok whatever, no big deal what's ten bucks right? So I decided to proceed. This is when they informed me that prepayment is required. I have never been to a business that provides a service that requires prepayment. Customarily, you wait until the service has been satisfactorily provided and then you pay. Again, I decided ok, no big deal, I'll prepay, their reviews are high. They told me to arrive on Saturday at noon. Upon arrival I was informed that they were not done and had just started the wheel. As they scrambled to get it done, stuff really began to fall apart it. The first attempt at welding did not fix the hairline crack, and the wheel was leaking air. So they rewelded it, which stopped the leak. Upon returning the wheel to me after two hours of waiting I was ready to get home and did not closely inspect it, my third mistake in this process. When I mounted the wheel on my truck at home I noticed they had gouged the wheel with the pry pat used to remount my tire. The powder coat is scratched off and there are very clear tool marks in the edge of the wheel. Additionally, my tire has a minor tear on the bead from a pry bar. After accepting this defeat and mentally moving on I started the truck and TPMS came on. They only filled the tire to 30PSI.. My truck runs 65. I was not home when I mounted the wheel so I limped it back to my air compressor and finished the job where they decided to stop halfway in an effort to get home around closing time. Overall, this was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a business. The perpetual series of mistakes made on their behalf is beyond frustrating, and I feel like I made a serious mistake by taking my wheel there. read more

Excellent service. I stopped by because I thought I had damaged wheel. The young lady assisted me as soon as I got there and told me I had two people in front of me. The workers that were there were assisting customers right in the parking lot and inside of the shop. They tested the wheels for me and told me exactly what I needed to do. Please stay away from these thieves and scammers. We were sold rims that were "new" and when I took out the car, the car was jumping on the passenger side, we went back and we were told that it was the tires... mhmmm funny because they were brand new tires. We went to the tire place and were told it was the rims... After going back and forth we took the car to the these thieves. They treated me as if they did not know me, Felipe the owner started threatening me and screaming at me same as his wife. After supposedly showing us it was the tires I decided I've enough and took the car to a third party that gave us in writing that those were not brand new rims as they said and that they were repaired. We called back and "Dr. Rim" told us that since we were complaining so much there was never a transaction between us. Excuse me? That is why Felipe and his crew wanted us to pay in cash so bad. We paid with our bank card in order to even receive a receipt. They were very reluctant to give us one. The car is still jumping, and when told the owner Felipe said he would charge us another 300 to take the rims back, what a ridiculous solution.
