My bf loved his beef hibachi. I liked my chicken and shrimp, particularly the meats. The chicken had a nice bit of char and flavor and the shrimp were seasoned nicely and cooked well. The noodles and the rice were just okay to me. I felt they were kind of lacking flavor and had a bit too much sweetness in my opinion. Overall, this was an enjoyable spot and a good value for the portions at the price point. It's not the best hibachi style food, but hits the spot for a craving and I'd order from here again.

The Shrimp was overcooked, dry and rubbery while the rice was dry and had shrunk and become firm likely due to sitting too long before serving. The Spring Rolls were crispy and had a nice crunch, although they were small, had little filling and were served lukewarm. The Shrimp Tempura Roll had the same problem with the rice and tasted like it had been prepared too far ahead and improperly stored as the coating on the Shrimp was a little soggy. Even the Coke was disappointing, it was flat and tasted off and was dispensed warm. Overall, it was a bad experience, placing it firmly on the never again list.

The checkout place where you pay even gives you free eel sauce or spicy mayo if you ask for it, which in itself tells you they're not messing around, they want you to enjoy your food and that's all you can really expect from any restaurant/food place. The ramen isn't bad either for pre-made/ready to order ramen, I actually think it tastes really good and comes as a large portion. Yoya also does some poke bowls which are pretty standard as far as poke bowls go, although I WILL say that they can be really expensive if you're making a custom one, so just stick to the "specials". They also do lunch rice bowl specials for every day of the week, all of which I like! (Yes.... I have tried them all... and yes, basically 1/3 of my credit card statement every month is Yoya purchases) My favorite thing though, unexpectedly, is the grilled salmon salad that they have every day in the pre-made cooler. It's like the crab salad was not in a cold fridge so by the time it got to me it was already slightly warm. The shrimp tempura was good. Can't really go wrong with that. No real complaints. The Kabuki was just okay. The abundance of onion crunch kind of threw me off. But I liked it. Unfortunately, I was mostly full and could not eat all of it.
