    Creamy Kitten Paw Jelly
    Khanh T.

I got the Special Oolong Milk Tea with the Brown Sugar Jelly Cheese Pearl + the Creamy Kitten Paw Jelly and they were delicious. The milk tea was perfectly sweet and the tea taste was strong. The toppings were so fun to choose from and the two I got were good, but I wouldn't get the Kitten Paw again. My friend got the same drink but had their Oolong Pearl and it went so well with the Oolong Milk Tea. My other friend got the Pink Lychee Tea and that was also really good. We also got the tiramisu dessert and that was a 10/10. They used sponge cake in it rather than ladyfinger, and that was unexpectedly really good. The shop was insanely crowded and the line was so long, so expect to wait for a bit.

Nut allergy warning: They do have a pistachio foam, so I would be careful about foams here. I did have the salted egg foam with no issues. Time-to-Order: ~10 minutes They were open on Christmas, amazing! We stopped in and there was quite a line of people. They kept it moving. They had sold out of some food items, like the xoi (sticky rice) but I'd give them a pass since it was Christmas. We ordered the salted egg foam milk tea at less ice and 30% sweetness. While I understand the hype, as it was quite good and the toppings are all customizable, it is still relatively pricey and the drink still had a tad too much ice and was still too sweet for me. The salted egg foam was very good. I'd say it's definitely a worthwhile treat and bats with some of the best boba shops in Bellaire for customizability, but it is not somewhere I'll go back to regularly because it is too pricey. If you're going after special custom milk tea drinks without caring about the price, it is definitely a great spot for that!

5/5 Service Pricey drinks but sooooo unique! The salted egg yolk foam milk team had a lovely creaminess (tho I cant say I tasted the salted egg yolk super clearly... I was also too impressed by the wide selection in menu still). The yogurt with pandan cheese jelly was good at 50% sugar! Can't say the cheese jellies are for me but they are unquestionably unique. Other special toppings offered as well

The first time I came, it was for their tea buckets that I saw on social media, they put my contact information down to contact when they restocked the buckets. The following week, they texted me and I had 5 days to come in. When I did, they double checked my name and I was able to pick a purple cooler bucket filled with various jellos, and picked their lycee tea. The drink lasted all day! I was really surprised. I loved all the jellos. Some had cheese inside which really surprised me and I really liked it. The room was open and space ish and they had snacks for sell. I bought banh Trang cuon which was a very interesting rice wrap with mango, egg, beef jerky. It also has a slight kick. There's free parking out front too. I really liked the jellos. I would come back for another bucket of jello again. lol. Warning, the back of the bucket is not sealed. I spilled some tea in my car because I wanted to share all of this with my husband. :(

I wanted to try a local viet boba shop in Houston called Bep Sai Thanh. I've seen a lot of videos from viet people in Houston glazing this place so I tried it since I was in the area. It's kind of in a hidden plaza, most of the buildings here are medical offices. They really do have a bunch of viet forward drinks that you wouldn't really find elsewhere. I tried the rambutan milk tea, and at first I couldn't taste the rambutan. It was like your basic really strong milk tea, which I wasn't complaining about. After I drank a third of my drink already, the rambutan flavor started hitting me. The rambutan flavor was pretty distinct. I want to come back to try their salty egg foam milk tea

New place with wood slats doors and windows next to a bar. Lots of seating but was busy on Fri day night. Drinks were ok. The strawberry matcha was good. Tamarind chili was ok. I did not like the yogurt drink or the che drinks. They're not too sweet which was good thing. Oh the cats paws are weird tasting and consistency. I don't recommend. They're bland and mushy and hard at the same time.

Every drink and dish was so good!! I got the chrysanthemum grape tea and it was so refreshing. Perfect for the summer! The crab egg rolls and combination sticky rice were my favorites!! Everything came out so quick too! The employees were very friendly and sweet! The vibe inside felt so comforting like I was back in Vietnam! I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

Although they have a fun online presence, the lack of organization in this store makes this a hard pass. I am from out of state and drove over an hour away from where I am staying for one of their online specials. They had run out of the online specials, so I decided to purchase something they had on hand. I purchased an order of pineapple buns and handed one package of the buns to one of the cashiers. By the time my drink was handed to me, the cashiers informed me that they had sold both packages of pineapple buns. I advised them that I had already purchased the package and handed the closed package to them so they can give it to me with the rest of my order - as they had requested since neither cashier handed the package to me after I paid the total. They advised me that they could only refund me and take down my phone number so that they could text me when they were restocked. I informed them that I am currently staying not only an hour away from this shop, but that I live out of state and am only here for a brief period of time. They had no additional response beyond having a third individual come out, who advised me that they could give me a refund - which I thought they had already done. By the end of this discussion, I had to request that they give me the remainder of my items from the transaction, which they had not refunded but had yet to give me. Given the cute aesthetic I saw on their Instagram, I made the trip over here. I do not recommend that anyone else do it. As for the drinks, you cannot request an unsweetened matcha latte. According to the cashier, the lowest you can request is 30%. In short, I tried this place out, but I will not be coming back, nor will I be recommending it to anyone else.

I visited this spot because I've been hearing a lot of good things about it. I got the green thai tea for myself and a regular milk tea for my sister. The drinks were too sweet for our taste, even with 50% less sugar. The toppings are very unique, but a bit pricey. I got the pandan jelly cheese ball and the taste was a bit strange to me. However, the service was great and I still enjoyed my drink and finished all the jelly. While I wasn't blown away, I would come back and try their other drinks and toppings! Be mindful that they do not offer any dairy-free milk options.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

You're paying for the K-Pop Demon Hunter pop-up aesthetic, the upbeat vibes, the fast service, the themed menu. The desserts? Solid. The Pinky Up Parfait hits. One scoop of cappuccino ice cream comes generous and tasty. Nothing disappoints. But nothing revolutionizes dessert either. This is good execution in service of a limited time experience, not destination-level pastry work. And that's fine. That's exactly what a pop-up should be. The real draw is that everything works together. Vibe, music, service, and desserts that don't let the side down. It feels fun, not gimmicky. That's harder to pull off than you'd think. Bottom line. Pop-ups don't stick around. If the K-Pop theme is your thing and you want solid desserts in a fun environment, go now. If you're just looking for great desserts, permanent spots do it better.

This is not a place you go to just have lunch or something. This place is an experience. Some adults might find joy in here (like I do), but my children definitely did, and that's worth it. They came here with the same excitement that they had for disneyland so I'm really happy about that. We all liked the harry potter experience and some different anime type experiences as well that my children liked. The foods and drinks are on theme and although it's not cheap, it's definitely not as much as Disneyland. We came on the weekends, but during lunchtime, and I can see how they might be really busy during the dinner rush. Sometimes you might need a timed entry to go in, but thankfully, we have not since we've been going. I will say that it's quite small and gets cramped really fast. What's nudged this place up to 5 stars for me is they have really improved their coffee game, specifically their quality of cappuccino's. Previously it seemed more of latte, but now to me its a legit Capp. Their choice of pastries hasn't changed, which gives you a good assortment of choices and they have added an additional barista or server which also is a nice touch for service. The only niggling items, parking can be tough, so you'll have to either walk a block or be quick to find a place close by. Inside you will also find French pastries, coffees and teas, gelato, milkshakes, sandwiches and macaroons. I felt the most interesting items were the French pastries as they are cute and tasty as well. Also, they plate the pastries nicely when you dine in as an added bonus. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. Inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream and has a chocolate base. I just wish there was more chocolate in this one. They have plenty of seating inside as well as along the sidewalk. Inside you have the more fancy tables, whereas outside, they're more weather resistant and not as upscale in appearance. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. One of the most surprising things when you come here are the relatively affordable prices as you might expect them to be more for being a coffee shop attached to a 5-star hotel with a helipad.

Since we were already in the area after breakfast at TJ's Filipino Cuisine, we finally got the chance to stop by and try their baked goods for ourselves. We arrived early, so the bakery wasn't too busy yet. The bakers were busy prepping more goodies in the back while my cousin and I browsed all the Filipino baked goods we really miss from back home in the Philippines. They even had suman, sapin-sapin, biko, and other kakanin, which was nice to see. I specifically looked for the chicken empanada, and my cousin wanted to try the ube white chocolate chip cookie. We also saw different kinds of siopao and planned to come back later to buy some before heading back to San Antonio. We tried the ube white chocolate chip cookie first, but honestly we weren't totally satisfied. It tasted more like a regular white chocolate chip cookie with purple coloring and didn't really have much ube flavor. I also tried the chicken empanada. My cousin didn't like it because it was sweeter than expected--we were both expecting it to be savory. There seemed to be caramelized sugar in the outside of the pastry, which probably added to the sweetness. I still like it, though it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada is still my favorite. Later that day before leaving Houston, we came back for the siopao we planned to take home. We finally decided to just buy a couple pieces for ourselves, heat them up in the bakery, and try them fresh. When we saw the price for a four-pack, we were honestly disappointed. It felt expensive for the size. The siopao wasn't huge, and while I like the dough, there wasn't much chicken filling inside. For the portion, taste, and quality, it felt overpriced. Overall, it's probably not worth making another trip back for us. We did enjoy the cassava ube suman, and I like the chicken empanada, but not enough to drive all the way to Houston just for those. If I live nearby, I might come back to try other baked goods, but based on this visit, I'm not sure the rest would impress my palate. I still give them credit for cleanliness and customer service, although we did notice fruit flies on one of the shelves and reported it. The staff was friendly, and the bakery itself was welcoming. At the end of the day, since they're a bakery, the expectation is great-tasting, quality, mouthwatering Filipino breads, pastries ", and kakanin. While some items were enjoyable, overall it just didn't quite live up to the hype for us.
