We weren't happy with that practice for many reasons, and Altman Dental was recommended to us by many families that we are friends with. He sees me and my husband and even my 9 year old! He LOVES Dr. Altman ( even more than his Pediatrician which says a lot!). I just came here to say that I always have a great experience with the front desk ladies, while I'm in the chair Dr. Altman is conversational and is humorous and informative and explains what's happening as he's doing it. Today the first step of my implant has started and I needed this tooth pulled. It was a great experience! I don't doubt that he will check on me later. If you are looking for a new practice, I highly recommend!!! I have even seen Dr. Gellert and he's wonderful too. So glad we switched years ago. I moved to North Carolina in 2016, started with a new dentist and found out during X-rays that my implant post is diagonal instead of straight. A second opinion along with standard and panoramic X-rays confirm this. There's a large gap between my bone and implanted tooth that's allowing bacteria in. I'm now faced with having the implant removed and redone. This is not acceptable after spending thousands to have the first implant. Now 5 years later having to repeat the entire procedure?
