First off we are from Delaware. For some reason it seems all the dealerships near us only offer vehicles loaded to the gills with "gingerbread" we don't need, or want. So, finding what we want is a time consuming effort that involves searching Chevrolet.com, Cars.com, cargurus.com and others to try to locate the perfect match. We went through this last year to locate a new Tahoe. We had to drive over 125 miles into MD to get it, but we did. This year we decided to purchase a new Camaro to replace our Jeep. We researched models, trim packages, drive trains and all other options, decided on what we wanted and then started a new search. It was no surprise we had to "drive a little to save a lot", again. We found 2, both PA dealers we knew nothing about, but liked the color of the one at Bergey's best. We filled out the contact form, received a call within minutes from Steven Tyson who was very helpful, pleasant and not pushy in any way. We decided to proceed and called the next morning to make sure it was still available and let them know we were coming up and when, because they were mostly appointments only but also working with a few walk-ins as they could, to try to keep the showroom at a minimum due to the Covid situation. After 1 1/2+ drive to the dealership we were greeted by our salesman, Tony Isabella. Tony was knowledgeable, kind and very pleasant to work with. We would recommend Tony to anyone. He got us a fair trade-in amount on the Jeep plus the advertised sales price all at once, so we made the deal. He even tossed in a swag bag of Bergey's merch goodies for both of us. Thank you Tony! Tony and Amber offered us water or coffee a couple times during our time there. Very nice of them. Ms. Bergey came over to congratulate us on our purchase and was very sweet. She seemed genuinely happy for us. Sure, it might be something she does for all customers, but there was an air of sincerity that was believable in her mannerism. It was nice of her to take the time to do so. It is something that meant a lot, after all, our business was not just buying a loaf of bread. When you spend thousands of dollars it is nice to be appreciated for your business. Lastly, we thank Patrick in financing. We have excellent credit but he was efficient and thorough covering all bases. The dealership itself was clean inside and out, including the bathroom. We were not in the parts or service departments but the exterior appearance was clean. All in all, we would give Bergey's a 5* rating in all aspects of our transaction. This is actually review for Bergey's Kia. Overall, the experience was terrific. I was in the market for the new EV6, which are in very high demand for several reasons. But the top 2 reasons for me were gas prices and the fact the EV6 is an amazing vehicle and I see myself keeping it more than 5 years. Back to my purchase experience at BK. After calling many local and regional Kia dealers I was unable to find any inventory. On top of that, all dealers had MSRP markups of up to $20,000....totally unethical. I was able to finally place a deposit with BK on an inbound unit. After nearly a month of waiting, my salesperson Sarah called to inform me it had arrived. She set up an appointment for me to take delivery on the next day. They did a great job prepping it for delivery. Sarah took the time to provide a full car demo of the features, controls and help me set up my app and other activations (still much more to learn about this high-tech EV). She was very pleasant to deal with from the start of the buying process to the day I took possession. Although BK had a markup, it was competitive compared to those other crooks. But my experience with BK was worth modest markup. For all the other Kia dealers out there, please learn what good service is from Bergey's Kia. Especially the jackass sales manager at Gateway Kia; They are literally 10 minutes from where I live and yet I chose not to deal with them. The economy will change (if not already) and car dealers won't be able to take advantage of consumers soon. While price and design sells cars, common courtesy, respect, and ethical practices are also decision factors. So before you go anywhere else, I would high recommend Bergey's Kia if you're in the market for a Kia. They have other brands too, which I will also keep in mind when we are ready to trade in my wife's gas hog Tahoe. In the meantime, I'm driving pass the ridiculous gas pumps with the continuing rising prices. God bless! read more

The moment my parents and I walked into Bergy's Chevrolet Dealership in Colmar, we were amazed with the customer service. We were welcomed by salesman Lito who is very nice and helpful. It was our first time getting a Chevrolet truck and we went in not knowing what was the best vehicle to purchase. My parents know very little English but Lito was very patience with us with answering all our questions and did not rush us on the purchasing process. Lito helped us with finding a perfect 2020 Silverado alongside assisting with purchasing the truck's accessories. Lito also helped us with scheduling an appointment very quickly with the service department for the accessories installation. I definitely recommend Bergy's Chevrolet in Colmar and talking to Lito to assist in purchasing a vehicle. It was the most pleasant experience both my parents and I had with purchasing a car. We met with Kevin Ryan who was professional and honest. The car had just come in on Saturday so hadn't been through the complete process but Kevin made it happen! The car needed to be detailed so after running credit, Kevin advised we come back at 4 to finish up. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate a realistic time frame. When we came back at 4 paperwork was ready. We met with John who was also efficient, professional, and helpful. What we didn't realize was during this time, Kevin was hustling to get the car inspected and through detail, even going out to help detail it himself. Wow! I never thought I could afford the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee I bought last week at Bergey's Chevrolet, but when I saw it I had to inquire... Fortunately, I was directed to Tony Isabella, who was never pushy or misleading, and listened to my desires before offering options. We compared prices of the Jeep to a new Chevy Traverse, and he punched in some realistic payment options before I committed to my choice. He handed me the key for a test drive, and sent me off to make sure I liked it - no pressure at all. I've gone on test drives before where the sales guy is nagging me while I'm trying to hear the engine and feel the shifting, but none of that happened here. Patrick worked on my paperwork, and financed gap insurance into the expected payment plan price, which takes the pressure off if, God forbid, the truck got totaled before I finished paying it off. Tony contacted me twice after my purchase to ensure everything was good with the vehicle, and reminded me that I now have free inspections(!!) for the life of the truck with Bergey's Chevrolet. We had a pleasant experience purchasing Chevy Volt 2016 from Bergey's in October of 2016. We are located in Las Vegas, NV and successfully completed this transaction over the phone. We worked with Matthew Cerefice who was knowledgeable, professional and very responsive. I recently purchased a car from this dealership after reading their good reviews, thinking they'd be different from the usual stealerships. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I drove four hours from VA to see the car, only to find out--something they conveniently failed to mention over the phone--that it was catless and had several other questionable modifications. Despite that, I agreed to buy it after negotiating a discount to cover the cost of adding catalytic converters. You'd think that would be the end of the issues--wrong again. Shortly after purchase, the clutch failed, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. When I contacted the used car salesman, he tried to blame me for it. For context, I've been driving manual for years--everything from Toyotas to Ferraris--so this wasn't driver error. On top of that, the clutch fluid was filthy, multiple header bolts were loose, and yet they claimed the car had "passed inspection." Clearly, that was a lie. As a younger buyer, I also noticed a condescending attitude from several staff members throughout the process. Now I'm left with a $65K car that's broken down because of a dishonest and careless dealership. Buyers beware of this. read more

I have never been to such a laid back, stress and pressure free dealership. No one is breathing down your neck, pushing you one way or another. We had been in the market for a used Honda Pilot for a few months, and noticed one pop up at Bergey's Chevrolet at a Fair Price. I checked it out visually with my daughter after work Wednesday evening, arrived at the dealership when it opened on Thursday Morning, and was test driving it with Sales Rep Shadi Hassan before 10am that day. Like today I arrived at 10:30a for 11:00a appointment the tech took my truck right back 15 min later Holly came in said it's your battery! 11:15 my Colorado was done! While checking out I asked Holly about tires as the ones on it are original she looked them up said here are 3 different styles for that truck gave me a printout and said there a sale good till 10-31! Now my Battery was under warranty and no charge only core and labor! when I got home I checked the tire and they were Kevlar sidewalls so I called Holly she ordered them for me 5 of them and set me up for 10-09-25 at 10:00am! I came to Bergey's Chevrolet with a clear issue that should have been covered under warranty. Instead of properly diagnosing the problem and honoring the warranty, Mike started pushing for unrelated paid services, claiming the issue was something else entirely. I trusted him at first -- he sounded confident and convincing. But in the end, the actual problem was never fixed, and the warranty work was simply denied without proper justification. To make things worse, Mike later acted like he never said what he clearly told me before. He outright lied to my face, pretending to forget our previous conversations. I felt manipulated, misled, and scammed. They charged me money for work that didn't solve the problem. The issue remains, and I wasted time, money, and energy -- all because of Mike's dishonesty. If you're looking for honest service -- this is not the place. Mike does not stand behind his word, and he clearly put profit above integrity. read more

I really enjoyed my experience with Bergey's. Everyone I dealt with there went above and beyond my expectations. I purchased by car from a different state and they made the experience very enjoyable. Ken Bobb was my salesperson and he was outstanding. He was on top of things from start to finish. One example was that he and the dealer were able to secure transportation of the vehicle from PA to GA. Although they didn't have to do this, it put my mind at easy and the vehicle arrived unbelievable fast. In fact, car arrived a day earlier and only took 2 days to be delivered! I am a young car buyer and this is my second buying experience with Bergey's. Let me tell you, they never disappoint. This dealership is fair and transparent. They don't have hound dogs but instead their sales group, especially Lito, and their GM, Brian Derstine, are beyond compare to any other dealership. I've bought two new cars from Lito/Brian now and both times they helped me get exactly what I was looking for at a fair price. This dealership makes you feel like family and at the end of the day they want you to leave comfortable and happy with the deal you've made. The next time I find a family member or friend in the market for a car, I will direct them right to Bergey's as no other dealership will go the extra miles that they do to help get you into what you are looking for. Since my wife started leasing in 2013 she talked her mom into leasing from Lito and my father in law bought his Chevy Truck from Lito and earlier this year my brother in law bought his car from Lito. Gina said that she doesn't want to deal with anyone else but Lito and Bergey's. I bought a car from other dealerships and that was a mistake and I told Gina that I was going to Bergey's and deal with Lito and I kept telling Gina that I was going get other Terrain and when We got to Bergey's and Lito said let go look at a Trailblazer and I said that Trailblazer is to small for me and Lito said just go for a test drive and we did and I told Gina that I'm not getting a Terrain and she said why and I said that I love that Trailblazer was bigger inside then outside. When purchasing a new vehicle I started my search online. I knew exactly what I wanted after previously having a 2024 Chevy Trax. Unfortunately it was totaled in an accident and I basically wanted to replace it with the newer year. I came across a color that I loved but was proving a very hard find. I located one in "transit" from Bergey's Chevrolet. So I stopped in to figure out what that meant. Ken Bobb greeted me at the front desk and from there he assisted me in located the vehicle and figuring out just when it would arrive. Once it arrived we had already had most of the paperwork completed and all that was left was the signing process. I was at the dealership for an hour tops which was great. I was in the market for a pre-owned vehicle, I did my homework, searched and found a few at this dealership that I wanted to test drive. I scheduled an appointment on-line (incredibly convenient) and when I arrived met Tony Isabella. I spent time with Tony driving a few vehicles, we sat and he asked me what I was looking for.
