Do not buy a used car from these people. Bought a used toyota and it has insane amounts of undocumented, slap-job damages & "repairs." OVERPAID initially already, and then the car began to fall apart. Just dropped one thousand extra dollars. Get your Toyota parts from a different source! 7/15/2025 Needed to replace the car battery on our 2019 Toyota C-HR that was purchase new at Peruzzi. Ordered battery from Toyota Parts Center online. Made sure V.I.N. # was enter for correct fit. Charged $219.49 and was instructed to wait for Peruzzi to notify me that the battery was ready for pickup. Went to the dealer to pick up the battery and was given the wrong size battery. Dealer said they have the correct size but I would have to pay for another battery directly from them and receive a refund from Toyota Parts Center online? Paid cash for the new battery to avoid the dealer's 3% mark up for using a credit card. As of today 8/11/2025, still no refund. Currently my Bank is involved to resolve the issue of getting my $219.49 back. Very poor customer service from Peruzzi parts department. read more

I recently visited Peruzzi Toyota in search of a new vehicle after an unfortunate accident totaled our 2024 Toyota Sequoia Platinum. Thankfully, both my family and the other vehicle's passengers were unharmed, but with both cars deemed a total loss, we had to begin shopping for a replacement. Additionally, we owned a commuter vehicle--a Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring with approximately 145,000 miles--so I was open to purchasing two vehicles if I could secure a fair trade-in value. After researching various dealerships in the area and reviewing their inventories, we found several cars of interest at Peruzzi Toyota. However, I have to be honest--my wife and I were initially hesitant due to some of the negative reviews we read online. While many customers had great experiences, a few concerning reviews gave us pause. Despite this, we decided to make the trip to Peruzzi, even though it was farther than other Toyota dealerships near our home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and promptly introduced to our sales consultant, Leonardo (Lenny) Kolomyec. Lenny was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Over the course of a few hours, we test-drove several vehicles, and Lenny took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. I was especially impressed by his deep understanding of each model--far beyond what I had experienced at other dealerships. Having recently purchased our last Sequoia elsewhere, I can confidently say that while that dealership was friendly, their staff's knowledge paled in comparison to Lenny's expertise. Ultimately, we ended up purchasing two brand-new vehicles--a Sequoia Platinum and a RAV4 Limited. As a retired military serviceman, I have access to USAA and Navy Federal car-buying services, and I mention this because the pricing I received at Peruzzi was comparable to what those services offer. Additionally, I received a very fair trade-in value for my vehicle. Now for the best part--one of my least favorite aspects of car buying is the back-and-forth negotiation process with a manager you typically don't meet until the end. However, I had the pleasure of working directly with Jeff Rowe, the General Manager, who was nothing short of fantastic. He went above and beyond to secure me a great interest rate, helped retrieve refunds from the subscriptions on my totaled Sequoia, and was one of the kindest individuals I've encountered in this process. At one point, I turned to my wife and said, "This has to be the most pleasant car-buying experience I've ever had"--and we've lived all over the country during my military career. A HUGE shoutout to both Lenny and Jeff for their professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care. They made the entire process smoother and faster than any car purchase I've made in nearly 30 years--while selling me two vehicles, no less! My final piece of advice: If you're visiting any dealership, chances are you're interested in buying a vehicle, and the dealership is interested in selling you one. You share a mutual goal. Do your research beforehand--understand your trade-in value, set your budget for a down payment, and determine your ideal monthly payment. Come prepared with questions and, most importantly, be kind and respectful. Too often, I've seen people leave dealerships frustrated, likely due to unrealistic expectations or a negative attitude. Peruzzi is currently sitting on a check from the Navy Federal Credit Union claiming that it will take ten business days (half a month) to clear. In response to "just call us". Please have your finance officer answer his phone, respond to phone messages, OR better yet, call your customer to give regular and honest updates, i.e. "I am still sitting on your check. Where to start. I was lied to during my whole experience trying to buy a new truck. I thought that they ordered me a new truck but no. I paid 500. As a deposit. What I later found out through the tab I got with my reimbursement check. They play bait and switch to get you to buy a truck you don't want just cause it's coming to them in a allocation. I have brought my car to Peruzzi Toyota to have the alternator replaced. They replaced the alternator and tried to sell me a battery that simply needed charging. I took the car home and found that now the air conditioning no longer worked. The air conditioning was working great before we took it to Peruzzi. UPDATE: After this, I called and spoke with the General Manager, Frank. He was incredibly pleasant and apologetic about the whole situation. He went out of his way multiple times to accommodate my budget and really wanted to help me get my dream car. I ended up purchasing from a different dealer, but it's just because I loved the car more. If I hadn't, I would have gone back and gotten the one from Toyota thanks to Frank! To make this long story short, they certainly lived up to the reputation of "sleazy car salesman". In other words, you're SOL unless you have a mechanic in your family or circle of friends who will drop everything to leave their shop to go to Peruzzi. Took car in for oil change and engine check. They provided ride service to home and back next day. They called with 450 estimate. Later called. To say car was ready. On arrival bill was six hundred. Paid 600. Took them 15 minutes to find car. It would not run due to failure of hybrid battery during their test drive. (battery was old, so this is not impossible but a major coincidence.) They offered to replace hybrid battery for ~5500 or buy the car 250 to 500 to be decided later. Sales people would be glad to assist me in buying a replacement vehicle. Service staff stonewalled my complaints with great civility. I had car towed home. Have negotiated replacement battery elsewhere for 2200 A long phone negotiation with Service Manage obtained me 600 credit, to be spent at their establishment. They get their second star for politeness and providing courtesy transport and for the fact that they have been ok for the five years I used them. Not this time. read more

Most unprofessional car experience of my life. Do not buy from here! They will look you right in the eyes and lie. I went to look at Camry's and narrowed it down to two that I liked. One of the cars had no price on the window but both cars were pretty much identical. We went inside to price out the cars and after two back and forth episodes a the manager came out to give me his "final price" of $18,900 for either car. He said he can't do better because that's what he "paid for it". I went outside to talk to my parents who were walking around looking at the cars. I told them the price I was quoted and they looked confused. They told me when I was inside they asked "Jim" who was walking around with keys, and were told the sticker price for the car was $17,622. I went inside and asked that they honor that price my parents were quoted. He asked if they honored it would I buy today, and I said "yes". The sales representative went back to the manager came out and said "no" and that price is $18,900. He doesn't care if he sells it or not and that he doesn't have to sell it to me. This was infront of his entire staff in the front of the store. There was no privacy and no respect by the manager. I have never had such a shady and sleazy experience. First I'm going to start off by saying our sale guy was good. Matt stoll. I wish they kid could find another dealership to be at because he's good but works with complete garbage. Our experience with peruzzi Toyota should have been better than what we went through. Imagine buying a car and the check engine light coming on not even 5 hours after leaving their parking lot. Imagine the GM making a snarking comment saying his techs wouldn't have their job if they didn't do their job right.. well whoever did the state inspection never cared to look and see that the coolant was so low. How do you not see that in a state inspection? How do you not see that when YOU TOYOTA wanted to purchase this vehicle yourselves? That's embarrassing to say the least. And then we go to pick our car up after having a thermostat replaced and the coolant is still below the minimum line.. i was told "we're human we make mistakes" well you don't make that mistake twice and it never should have happened if your techs did their job. I wish i had the thought to read reviews on this dealership before hand. This dealership is full of slimy people who put on a good show. Their "company policies" are set in place so they can cover their dirty tracks. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! All the bad reviews makes you feel like the good ones are friends and family trying to help them get their ratings back up. The customer service is so poor that my 3 year old talks nicer to people... come to find out this is the same dealership that sold my nephews father a car and the engine blew the next week... In a word this dealership is a Predator. I have seen it with my own eyes when two service writers approached a senior woman with a $700.00 estimate for prevented maintenance , she asked if it could wait they said no you are here now so she might as will get it done. The service department intimidates their customers into getting unwanted service done . Stating that Toyota recommends this and that with no regard for the customers financial situation or intended use of the vehicle. I took my car in for a state safety inspection and was told that my car needed the transmission fluid changed I declined and when I got home I checked the owners manual , it read the trans fluid does not need to be changed ,it is lifetime unless under severe conditions. This is the worst service department I've ever encountered in 40 years. Every time I call to make an appointment the service department NEVER answers in three years since I bought my car there. The receptionist says I can leave a message and I tell her it doesn't matter they never call back. I complained twice to the Toyota complaint line and they said the Peruzzi customer relations person would call within 24 hours. NO ONE EVER CALLED. I prepaid for service when I bought the car but it was a mistake. They could have sold me a policy for me to have my car serviced at any Toyota dealer but I was never offered that option. I bought a tacoma from them years ago. There was a recall on the frames rotting so brought my truck to them and it had a crack in the frame. I wanted to trade in the truck and buy a new one instead of them replacing the frame. They quoted me on a high price on a new truck and would not move on price so i told them I wanted my truck back and I would go to another Toyota dealership. They told me I could not have my truck back because it had a cracked frame. I said I would be fine to drive to another dealership but they insisted they were not giving my truck back. I had to call corporate Toyota to get my truck back from them. Went to the Doylestown dealership and they gave me a trade in for existing truck and a great deal on a new Tacoma. Not sure about the price, HOWEVER, bout "Certified" Camary there, (& 4 prior Toyotas). I get indecisive & fearful of deals - When I bought from Peruzzi most of the time, they wouldn't let me get out w/out a car. I needed that assertiveness, HOWEVER, they will lie, & put big guilt trips on you. I.E: Just told me if I want remote start (again) it's up to $474.00 THEY"RE installer, & other, both gave me quotes around $335.00 (go to Millers). Also, when buying new car, salesman took $600.00 hold on it w/ credit card. Waited & waited - didn't get card BACK 'til I said, "I'll have to cancel it." Car I have (2013 Camary LE) rides beautifully & couldn't generally be better - just, now, too much mileage. Going there ? Just do your homework, & be tough !!!
