I purchased my 2025 Sportage from here because it is close to my home. The sales department here is phenomenal, however, the service department is the worst. I have called numerous times to try to get an appointment and it's always, "Service. Please hold." You are kept on hold for quite,a while, forcing you to call again and again until someone actually offers to help you. Once the service is scheduled, then it's smooth sailing from there. The mechanics are very skilled and the service consultants are very polite and helpful. This truly needs to be addressed or I will arrange my service at another Kia dealership. I'm revising my review about the bad service department that I wrote before. Apparently they got their act together with the service department and answering the phone. I called the other day and they picked up (a real person) and had no problem scheduling an oil change and a recall. They got me in and out right away and it was a great experience. I'm really glad because I really like the place so I highly recommend the service department. read more

i called service dept. on august 9th. a man answered and said " service, please hold" . so i held, held and held for 25 minutes. i finally hung up. the mechanics are great. 25 minutes.....no body is that busy . if you want to talk to a service representative....call during the week. this guy was a moron ! read more

I have had great experiences with this dealership in the past, but this time was very disappointing. Very inconsistent communication. Had to be begging for a return phone call, and then when they finally did call back and leave a voicemail, advisor stated they had called "multiple times". I only had one voicemail from them, and I returned the call within minutes. Seemed like they were trying to simply save face. Wouldn't even give the slightest idea of how long the service would take, even though I explained that I needed to pay for a rental to get to work and needed even a general idea since loaner vehicles were not an option. I contacted the insurance company, who said they had reached out to the dealership but got no response. Ended up taking the car elsewhere for service. Just felt like I was being blown off and that the dealership found my situation to be bothersome. I used to recommend this dealership without question, but I'm sad to say I would not return after this experience. read more

Service department sucks. They never answer the phone. I called 10 times to schedule an inspection because I bought my car there and they are free. I have a recall on my car and they still never call me back. I even drove the 11 miles to schedule an appointment and of course their computer was down and couldn't schedule. I'm paying my mechanic to inspect my car. Raceway Kia has at least three people answering the phone there and where I previously got my other car serviced. I'll never deal with Bergeys again. Unreliable. Based on that experience , I changed my mind about buying a Corvette at Bergeys Chevrolet. I have a feeling I'll run into the same problem. read more

The service department is dishonest, incompetent, and disorganized. They do not answer the phone and when you are actually able to get a service appointment, they do not call you and tell you when your vehicle is done. They all just leave the building at 5pm and leave you hanging. Whats worse is that on 2 occasions, they damaged my vehicle and took no responsibility for it. They basically lie and say the damage was there already. Yeah, having my window moldings replaced by them under warranty and then seeing torn rubber weatherstripping around the passenger window must have been my fault. I mean what are the odds that the technician damaged the weather stripping? Well according to them, there is no way they could have done that. And lastly, when you try to reach a manager, NONE of them get back to you or have the guts to talk to the customer. They just hide like cowards behind their dishonest and shameful brand. read more

Receptionist hung up on my phone call 6 times before answering on the 7th. She said it was because my phone number was "private" so it was "usually the wrong number". Service is always "so busy". Apparently too busy to answer the phone. Everyone here is so rude if you can even get through to talk to anyone. Find any other dealership to deal with. Never buy Hyundai/Kia/Genesis. read more

Based on character and info of the management alone .Stay away! there not nice at all.Fake is more like it.unless your a personal friend or family member that sucks up mangement than you get special treament .I know another customer who had warranty issue it took pulling teeth with the help of one who worked there and others not in the company to get get help.if not for them this poor woman would of not got the help she needed. An elderly friend of mine shared her recent experience with this dealership and everyone should steer clear of this corrupt business. She took her Kia in for inspection and was told they would not pass it due to a hole in the chassis, then offered her $2,500 to buy it from her, and gave her a week to make a decision. Thankfully, she suspected this scenario was BS and took the car to a trusted mechanic for a second opinion. He informed her the hole was miniscule, the vehicle would pass inspection, and it looked to him as though the small hole may have been man-made, i.e., done on purpose. Given that preowned Kias are a hot market right now, her experience reeks of dishonest business practice and attempting to defraud an elderly woman. read more

Tony and the rest of the Bergey's Kia team made the process so efficient and smooth, they have set the bar so high for all my future purchases. In today's age where car dealers are price gouging everyone, Bergey's made the decision not to charge beyond the car's MSRP. That alone is worth driving to Bergey's to check them out. Major DISAPPOINTMENT with the SERVICE department. The two times I have had to drop my car off I have had to call towards the end of the day MYSELF to get a update/status of my vehicle. The most recent time I was supposed to get a shuttle to the dealer to get my car when finished. When they called and asked if I still needed one even after me stating when making the appointment and on the drop off envelope that I needed one. When they asked where I was located because they had to work me into the multiple other shuttles they had it sounded to be an inconvenience . So due to it sounding like an inconvenience I was thankfully able to find a way to get there. Another major issue that I have come across with them is you can almost NEVER get anyone on the phone for any reason I called 6-7 time in a hour period to try and schedule my appointment. read more

Stuart Rovner, Shaun Leonard, and Ryan Alderfer all made the car buying experience amazing. This is despite the terrible market due to the Chip shortage. They don't charge markups, push ridiculous accessory packages, or bait and switch. They're true and honest people - and a great dealership! They bought our 2019 Mazda CX-5 and used the positive lease equity towards a 2023 KIA Sportage X-Line in Jungle Green - a surprise early birthday present for my wife. We decided to do a buyout of my wife's 2020 Sportage at the end of the lease. Our original dealer had been sold so we checked YELP before choosing another dealer. Bergey's had a slightly higher rating so we decided to use them . No big mystery as buyout $ were listed in the lease agreement plus a charge for lease conversion, doc fees and sales tax . Should have been a simple transaction. It took a while to set an appointment, I was told I needed to pay for an inspection of the vehicle which we maintained over the last three years. Spending $165 really was of no value to me . I was given an incorrect buyout $ amount because the finance guy ignored the fact that my final lease payment had been processed (I told him) by the bank. My bank check $ was too high, but I was told I would get a refund in a week.... actually took a month , and only after numerous emails...finance guy told me multiple times to contact KIA which wasted at least 4 hours of phone calls only to verify what I already knew, money was OWED by Bergey's. Planning to buy a 2024 model, but not going back there. They lost my future business. read more

I always went to Kia in Lansdale when Murray owned it. Bergey took over and I continued to go to the Lansdale shop for service. My car was on the recall so I had to have it towed to Bergey Kia. They took over a week to fix my car. They never called me I had to call them when I could actually get through. Finally they told me that the broke a part and they were waiting for it. I finally got my car back and a week later my battery died...not their fault but thank God it did because I had to take my car to a garage near me...up to then I always had my work done in Kia Lansdale. When the mechanic went to take my battery out a part fell into his hand we were both shocked there was GLUE on the part and on the top of where that part went. I couldn't believe it. That part cost $249 and unless I go back to Kia in Lansdale I have to pay for it myself!!!!!! So needless to say I will pay it I am NOT GOING BACK THERE. I fear that something else would happen.
