I called to get my prescription emailed to me and was told it was not finalized yet so it could not be sent over. I was told my trial contacts would be in tomorrow but that is not what I was told earlier in the day. I was then transferred to the DISGUSTING office manager, she told me the earliest they could be in is tomorrow but as late as next week. I told her that I had been calling for around 20 minutes only to be hung up on twice and that I had to wait forever for someone to answer the phone when I did call back. She LIED and said a transformer blew and the area was without power and that is why the phones have not been working. Which is strange because I live less than half a mile away from their office and no one around me is without power. She said she cannot control what I believe and that "her" staff has gone out of their way to help me get my trials and that I was being very rude to them and speaking down to them. I asked her what I did to be rude to them and she could not give me an answer. I then told her that I am speaking to them exactly like I speak to everyone else. She then said, and I quote, "Then that might be the problem" I asked what her name was and then she hung up on me. I will NEVER be coming back to this facility and I will tell everyone I know about this absolutely shocking behavior from the office manager. read more

It's been years since I've been able to get my eyes checked and so I asked my insurance provider the best eye care center they recommended . I was directed to the Berkeley Eye Center closest to me which is in Webster Texas . I went yesterday, 02.28.2023, and was extremely surprised at the excellent customer service and treatment that I received. I particularly want to note Dr. Hoang. Dr Hoang is excellent I'm 53 years old and in my life time I have never had a more thorough eye examination done the way Dr Hoang did. My eyes were examined thoroughly and she provided feedback and information to keep in mind I was thoroughly thoroughly impressed! I would highly recommend this location and Dr Hoang for your eye care. Also the price for my new prescription and Frames was very agreeable and within budget including delivery straight to my home. I am extremely satisfied with Berkeley Eye Center and look forward to having them as my go-to place for my eye care needs. read more

I called Berkeley late afternoon yesterday (close to closing time) desperate to get my mom seen as a new pt due to an emergency with her eyes. The front desk receptionist was wonderful and did her best to help us. We were able to get seen within an hour of calling. Due to Covid I wasn't able to go inside, but once my mom was done and came outside she said the staff was wonderful and her interpreter was sweet and did a great job as well as the Dr. I highly recommend this place! Pt satisfaction and safety is important to them here. Thank you Berkeley Eye Center!! I knew about Berkeley Eye Center by my grandparents who have been coming here for years (different location). I can't speak highly enough about the care and service I have received from the staff at Berkeley Eye Center, specifically Dr. Yang, Dr. Hong, Aldo, Monica and Katie. Every interaction I have had with them has been positive, from calling to schedule my first appointment, the warm welcome at check-in each visit, the kindness and professionalism during the vision screening and exam, the time and care spent to explain what is going on inside my eyes and answer all the questions I have, all the way through check-out. I was sent here from the ER with an issue that was causing me loss of sight rapidly. The staff and Dr. Ruda were great! They stuck with me and ran the problem until they figured it out and started a treatment plan. They had me back to normal in a matter of days. My follow up with Dr. Sun was equally good.
