This place is great. Fair prices. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff. It's been my go to for hydro supplies for years now.

Since we…read morejust moved to the area and this place seemed pretty busy, I thought I'd try one of their pies. Stopped in yesterday and got a raspberry pie and a "walnut" brownie for myself. I ate the brownie on the drive home. It was dry, hard and contained pecans, not walnuts. Not a big deal for me since I like both walnuts and pecans. But still ... The pie might be the second worst raspberry pie I've purchased (second only to one that never gelled). First, it's salty. EW! It should be sweet and tangy. Heck, my husband wouldn't mind tart. But salty? No. Second, I paid $22 for a pie with what looks and tastes like canned raspberries. The filling if very syrupy, gooey. Either that or they misused ClearJel rather than tapioca or corn starch for thickening. It's so thick, it coats the back of your throat, like you've eaten corn syrup poured over smashed raspberries. It doesn't taste like the appropriate amount of sugar was added to the filling either. It does not taste fresh at all. It tastes like one I could have picked up at the grocery store. As a matter of fact, I think Hannaford's has mini pies that are far better.

Gary not only walked me downstairs and took all the time needed to find me one little $0.69 screw, but because it was a specialty screw I needed and this one was a little long, he actually grinded and polished it down to fit my RV door! And didn't charge any extra. I have never experienced this high level of customer service before, he was amazing. So I asked if he would help me with a wrench needed to adjust my Vespa mirror. I'm looking at it he said instead I needed a hex key and got me one that fit! This was the best hardware store I've ever been to, waaaayyyy better than any Home Depot. I only wish they existed in my home town in Irvine CA, I wouldn't go anywhere else. This hardware store is what hardware stores used to be like when I was little, with everything under the sun and friendly knowledgeable people, who are plentiful in this store. Not like one where you have to hunt 5 mins to get anyone to help. This hardware store and its staff are the best!!!

I have visited Home Depot many times over the past 25 years because they are the only store in town…read moreother than local hardware stores. I try to avoid Home Depot whenever I can. The store is usually a mess and there is never anyone around to help you. Occasionally, there is someone that is helpful and knowledgeable, but those times are few and far between. The last visit was to purchase a new microwave during tax free weekend. I expected the store to be busy, so I arrived early. The microwave I wanted to purchase was not in stock (Of course), so I asked to order it and have it delivered to the store. I was told by the associate that it could not be delivered to the store, and would have to be delivered to my home. I asked if there would be a delivery fee, and was told that there shouldn't be because he had just sold a new refrigerator that was going to be delivered at no charge. I placed the order, and when we got to the delivery page of the order, I was informed that there was indeed a $39.00 fee for delivery. I asked why it couldn't be delivered to the store at no charge, and was told he didn't know. It was busy, so I let it go with the intention of contacting Home Depot directly, but I wasn't happy. I contacted Home Depot through their website Chat window and the person I was chatting with told me to go back to the store and ask the store manager why there was a delivery fee. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, I was told it would be a 5-10 minute wait, and at the 11 minute mark, I was hung up on, and the chat window disappeared. When I returned home, I emailed HDCares.com and asked the same questions and found out that not only do they not care, they don't respond to emails. Pretty disappointing. I will give their delivery service a good mark because the microwave was delivered in 4 days, and they communicated well via email. My suggestion is to avoid Home Depot whenever possible. There are a couple of Lowes stores, but they're over an hour away. I have always found Lowes to be a clean, neat and well run store, at least the 3 I have visited in the past few years. The associates I have spoken to when there have been plentiful and helpful. I wish we had a Lowes that was local.

I am looking elsewhere now.
