We stayed in Unit #3, but all of the units are nearly identical (other than furniture colors and artwork). The two bedroom was perfect for the two of us and the apartment had all of the kitchen and bathroom amenities you could hope for too. Given the construction is fairly new, the A/C was amazing, the water temperature and pressure was great, and the Smart TV worked perfectly (and included Netflix to boot). The main drag of Atlantic Avenue was literally 2 minutes away, so you could roll out of bed for some coffee or chocolate. I was a huge fan and will certainly come back again! The hosts and their cleaning crew were kind, communicative, and gracious.

The lady called to another lady in the other room and asked if she knew the hot tub was down. The lady snapped back "tell them it gets fixed when it gets fixed" (insert nasty tone here). I loved the third floor 1 bedroom decor. The ceilings were high with large fans, the view of fountain was phenomenal from our balcony in building 23 ! Clean , well stocked, I liked this property as it is cozy and the pools and zip lines are within steps of the condo! I didn't care much for huge properties where you need a shuttle to get you to the pools. The bar was awesome , and nearby restaurant Millers ale house had fantastic food we ordered out. If you prefer cooking Walmart's very close and delivers great organic produce for half the price of Whole Foods !

Yes, that means lots and lots of families. Tons, really. The family-friendly factor is very high with this one. At the clubhouse, which is where you check in, you will find the pool, poolside bar, fitness center and spa. You can see Lake Cay from this location. Gorgeous! Perfect for sunset views. There is also a game room here -- numerous different arcades. And there's also a pool table. We went with the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. Perfect for our sizable group of women. Outside of check-in and visiting the clubhouse for pool time, it did not feel like a hotel stay. It felt like we lived there! The room (read: apartment) was open and spacious. In addition to a fully functional kitchen with all the amenities, it had a washer and dryer on site, a lovely balcony overlooking the water and easy access to the pool. I thought it was pretty cool that one group was using the outdoor grills near one of the patios for a dinner and picnic. Only dings: Check out is late -- 4 p.m., with a 10 a.m. check-out. Boo! Also, you don't have regular room service. Run out of pool towels? Fella at the front told me we were SOL -- we had to wash the towels instead of receiving new ones. That was a bummer considering we were, at that moment, ready for pool time and didn't want to have to wait an hour for towels to be cleaned. And an cleaning Fee at $80 for all stays of four nights or less? That makes no sense. Other that that, this is a wonderful spot -- especially for large groups. AND there is also a Publix within walking distance!

We negotiated…read morewith the owner, Thierry Chevrier, to get a partial but fair refund for the rental at 695 Northeast 15th Place Boynton Beach, FL, USA 33435 We agreed via email that the refund would be for half of the amount paid, after taking away fees that didn't need paying, like housecleaning and additional taxes for our half of the refund. Unfortunately, Mr. Chevrier demanded THREE TIMES that we pay him more money (thousands) before he would send us any money, even though our paid-in-full rental was in the five digits. Forcing us to pay money before refunding us what is due--isn't that extortion?

This is no resort. This place is a DUMP and infested with cockroaches!!! I checked into a dirty…read moreroom with smudged mirrors, hair on the countertops, dusty coffee machine and lamps next to the bed, I'm not nit picky so I over looked that, however, when my daughter opened the toilet to find urine in the toilet, that was the final straw. I called the front desk to complain and they sent up the housekeeping staff whom were rude when they came to clean the toilet. Then, I woke up at 1 am and found a cockroach on my toothbrush in the bathroom!!! I sent a text message to the guest services that has been texting me regarding our stay and sent pictures. I asked to be switched rooms but they only offered to move us to a worse location room on the first floor with a view of the parking lot. No thanks, I don't want to be closer to the ground where there are MORE cockroaches!! So I just asked that my room be thoroughly cleaned and sprayed for bugs. After going out to dinner tonight, I returned to the room to find MORE cockroaches in the bathroom!! I killed a baby cockroach on the wall and another one next to the shower. I called the front desk to complain again and they just sent someone to spray our room. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE at a so called "resort" that I paid more than $500/nt for plus their additional $40/nt resort fee. Ridiculous! I will never stay at an Opal Grand Property again.
