They simply don't offer enough spaces when kids are sick like the winter. There clearly seems to be a way around the system to get booked in advance but that hasn't been offered to us. 2) our son had a severe reaction to a bee sting and their response was to schedule an appointment with an allergist for 3 months in advance. When we asked about how do we keep him safe in the meantime we were told to wait until the allergist appointment in 3 months. We asked a friend who is a pediatrician and they wrote us a prescription for an EpiPen on the spot. Why didn't Bayside? If you don't know how to advocate for yourself in the US healthcare system then don't come here. Your kid will get lost in the shuffle and they couldn't care less. I have suggested Dr. Rush to friends with babies and would trust him unconditionally with my child!
