We ordered the "Best of Bash" burger with blackening seasoning, bacon, goat cheese, onion ring, arugula, garlic-basil mayo and a splash of sirachi aoili. The burger was dense and somewhat dry, while the sirachi was a small dollop it was tasted in only one bite. The beer battered onion rings were heavy and sweet. The cajun fries were good. The burger, fries and rings are decent, but not remarkable. I felt The Burger Dive may thrive in competitions, while serving the masses is more of a challenge. I didn't try that but did take a few of his brussel sprouts - easily the best brussel sprouts I've ever had. Rich and buttery but still with a nice crunch from the char. So good! We traveled the whole country, so we know. Sent a new neighbor who is from South Carolina and he loved it. We both had the Country Benedict for late breakfast. HUGE and tasty. Coffee was so-so, but not bad like most places. Service was great. Everybody was super friendly. Customers were mostly regulars who are there every day. Breakfast special lasts until 8AM. I'm not sure what I spent more time doing: reading and looking at the overwhelming amount of hog decor, or listening to the locals discussing sundry mundane things, but sometimes funny things, with the other locals. When it comes to the food, there's been nothing disappointing (except maybe the coffee, but okay). Every day the have a list of specials and while nothing to make you think gourmet, you won't be disappointed by the plain food, done well, and given to you by the really awesome staff.
