Please do not hire this business. Our experience has been marked by lies, deceit, and dishonesty. We signed a one-year contract with them to keep our home free of rodents, which included a $200 upfront fee plus monthly payments. After eight months of service, we still have rodents in our attic. When we asked them to resolve the issue, we were shocked to learn they wanted to charge us extra to remove the rodents--despite the fact that this is exactly what we hired them for. Here are the main issues: 1. No proactive maintenance. They do not come out on a regular schedule. Unless you, the client, call them, nothing happens. There is no real maintenance plan. 2. Ineffective trapping. They placed only two rodent traps around the house, which clearly did not work. The rodent problem continued. 3. Incompetent technicians. Multiple technicians claimed they saw nothing in the attic. When an actual inspector was finally sent, they confirmed that we do have rodents in the attic. 4. Deceptive contract language. Even though the purpose of the membership is to keep the house rodent-free, they claim that trapping rodents is an "exclusion." This is buried in vague, misleading contract language. 5. Poor communication. They rarely return calls, and the representatives who answer the phone have no clear understanding of what the membership actually covers. 6. False "guarantee." Their advertised "guaranteed service" is simply not true. When the problem persists, they charge you instead of fixing it. In short, you pay for a service that is not honored, problems remain unresolved, and you are asked to pay even more. This company does not stand behind its work. Avoid them. read more

Terrible service. They make excuses as to why they cannot kill spiders and they refused to have the owner contact me. We had 4 homes with them. Changing to Hart Pest Control. Avoid the hassle. Do not do business with Berrett. I gave them 3 chances to get it right. They also tried to bill me for a service that was not produced which is illegal. read more

unreliable company that cannot keep their work, their technitian cancelled my appoitment 20 minutes before the scheduled time. Rescheduled appointmen to first thing in the morning 8am the following week, I waited until 9am at home, missing time from work and he never showed up. I contacted the company and the CSR very nonchillant said I did not have an appointment ( thought they had confirmed my appointment several times in the prior days) scheduled and that they could arrive anytime from 8-5pm that day. 330pm came by and no one had showed up. Needless to say I don't want to do business with a company who is this unreliable and nondismissive about their mistakes. Please do yourself a favor and find someone else. OVER PRICED /UNORGANIZED /TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT /FAKE WARRANTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT A PRIOITY Poor communication between staff no one seems to be on the same page. No follow through, technician never did the complete the initial sealing of my attic and when more critters got into my attic, they wanted to charge more money to remove them from the trap. I called and spoke with "manager" letting him know I'm upset about being charged I let him know I called multiple times about the sealing not being complete and that multiple appointments were cancelled but I received no understanding. Not only that the "manager" let me know the call and complaints were not in my file. Which further confirms there is poor communication. Staff is overly friendly but incompetent. Manager couldn't care less. Warranty is falsely advertised and misleading. read more

Do NOT waste your money on this company -- they are completely incompetent and failed on every level. We hired them for attic sanitization after raccoon removal and they simply sprayed disinfectant ON TOP of the raccoon feces and left it there. That's not sanitizing -- that's a joke. The whole point of sanitizing is to remove the waste, not spray around it! This is false advertising. On top of that, they treated our backyard for fleas, had to come back THREE times, and made absolutely zero difference. Look elsewhere. Seriously. Waste of money. read more

I paid $1800 for service to rid my daughter's bathroom of a particular type of bug that was suppose to be termites, now the same type of bugs are in the same area and now the service tech says it's not termites! Than why did I pay so much for termite treatment if it wasn't termites!?!?! This is very poor customer service and the reason I left Berrett was because of the pricing. I don't know anything about fumigation that why I hire an expert but I feel like I was taken advantage of by this company deceitful business practices. This will not be the last of me! Throughout the entire process, everyone I spoke with at several locations was upbeat, supportive, and eager to ease my concerns. That level of reassurance goes a long way when you're dealing with unwelcome pests in your own bed! They charged a fair and reasonable price for a clear, well‑explained treatment plan. When it appeared that a few bugs persisted after the initial treatments, they returned for an additional treatment and several follow‑up inspections--cheerfully and at no extra cost. Had a technician come out to give me a quote because rats had entered my home, and he told me I would receive a quote and treatment plan via email. All I received was a satisfaction survey. I had to call them two days later, and I was told they could not service my address due to health and safety hazards!!! I called them because I have a rodent problem, which is their business (obviously), and I am told they will not help me because I have rodents?????!! I am angry, HORRIFIED, and TERRIFIED, that they will not help me. If I cannot hire an exterminator to help, who the hell will????? I LIVE in this house, so apparently my health and safety are in danger also, and they could not care less -- they simply turned their back on me. read more

Extremely inconsistent work....... I paid $2000 for exclusion service that was not complete/ thorough. I still caught a rat in the attic. Many technicians claimed they were only there to check if anything was caught on traps. If all the entry points were completely covered, I would not have any more rats in the attic.. there's a lot of fingerprinting as to who supposed to do the actual job and different technicians are sent on different visits. The company needs to send in someone HONEST to check that the work that the client pays for was actually done. read more

I'm very disappointed. I paid $180 for wasp removal, and within 10 days a new nest was already forming in the same area. I was told the treatment would prevent new activity for a longer period, but that clearly hasn't happened. I wasn't informed how often I'd need to re-spray or what was guaranteed. For the price, I expected better results or at least a follow-up service if the problem returned so quickly. I won't recommend this company unless they stand by their work with a clear guarantee or solution. read more

I did not have a good experience. Firstly, after 3 months, the service didn't help with any pests. I have tried to cancel my service multiple times, each time I call they let me know that I cancelled but I kept being billed! It was so frustrating to have to keep calling to cancel and it never actually being processed. Now they have reported it to a collection agency and they're trying to collect $190 from me. It seems like a scam. I only got serviced 2 times and then cancelled because my appointments got cancelled or rescheduled due to the rep being unavailable, this happened 3 times. Would not reccomend. Scheduling the service was easy and their 4 month agreement is super convenient. My technician was Lawrence, he is a super knowledgeable and thorough technician. He asked me the right questions to find out where our issues are probably coming from and explained why it happens and the process to eradicate the pests. He also set the expectation for the treatment to work and let me know of the possible increased activity as the flush begins to work. The treatment was for both interior and exterior. I used Berrett Pest Control for flea treatment and attic containment for rodents and large animal removal. The communication from this company is excellent! I received calls to confirm when a technician would be on site and what they would be doing. The technician would call prior to coming on site & then again when they were leaving the property to let me know what they found.
