The sales experience was professional and friendly, but such attitude disappeared completely once I became a customer.   The office schedules appointments three weeks out if you want to have the same technician each time. However, despite this extended scheduling window, a different technician shows up every single time regardless. For a recent bimonthly appointment, a new technician arrived at 5:30 pm instead of the scheduled time. Clearly eager to leave for the day, he wanted to first check whether there was even a pest issue before deciding if treatment was necessary, rather than simply performing the service I was paying for. He also informed me that a complete service is typically performed every six months, which directly contradicts what the salesperson told me at the time of sign-up, when I was assured that complete service would be provided every two months.   Despite this pattern of incomplete service, Natran has had no trouble charging my credit card every single month without fail.   When I informed Natran that I would be out of town for an extended period, they refused to move my appointment up by even a couple of weeks, even though the result would be my home going over three months without any treatment at all, far beyond the standard service window I am paying for.   Reading through other reviews, it is clear that missed appointments, poor communication, and unresponsive customer service are not isolated incidents but an ongoing pattern with this company. Horrible Service This company was scheduled to do a service call at my property today and they canceled 10 minutes before the scheduled treatment. Please do not hire them. I had every tenant remove their pet to a boarding/hotel room for this service treatment and to leave the premises and for this company to literally cancel 10 minutes beforehand infuriates me. Then Nathan said (I believe the owner or so called Branch Manager) that he can go but demands more money even after their was a signed contract. Just do not hire them!!! read more

I have been using Natran Green Pest Control for the last two years, and since I have a pet and children at home, they were able to offer me the organic pesticide solution to keep the puppy and children safe from any toxic inhalation. Reasonable pricing: $41/month I have a quarterly agreement with them, but they come any month I need them, for any reason. Due to the organic materials dissipating quickly in rainy weather, I am able to have a technician come by any time to spray the outer rims and indoors of the home to repel insects. The customer care is the best, as they listen with patience and are SO helpful in finding an available technician at a set date or at any time of necessity. read more

We are not a regular pest control household. However, we were extremely pleased with our Natran experience. We had suddenly developed a lot of unsavory pest activity and within 24 hours of Natran's visit, live sightings were done. Kaput! Thirty days later, still not one sighting. Using botanically based, low-impact procedures they hit a home run. Why would anyone choose the traditional, super toxic option? I thought there would be a large price difference to use the green solution but it was literally like $12. I was floored. It's a no brainer. We did not select a monthly option but instead did a one time shot. And we are very pleased. Alex was a great sales rep. He was patient, thorough and answered all questions. He didn't even hesitate to help remove an active uhh... guest during his inspection. What a guy! And the technician Paul was great too, also helping remove an unwanted guest, wearing PPE, consistent with the annoying task of booties on/booties off when in and out of our home, well-informed, happy to answer questions and check out where directed. Both Natran reps parked not in the open driveway but the street. Seems minor/unrelated but really is the dot on the "i" when it comes to high standards of customer service and respecting someone's property when visiting in a professional capacity. We paid for Natran's exclusion service, but pests keep getting in the attic. They have come out several times to look for entry points they may have missed, so they have tried diligently. I am sorry to report, however, that the exclusion service hasn't worked. My husband will need to set another trap to catch the latest intruder. read more

We have been with Natran for 4 years. The first year they did a great job helping with pest control in the attic, and then consecutively the did well with controlling insects and pest outdoors. I like that they are a green company. HOWEVER, if you need to cancel service, they require a 30 day written notice, which they don't bother to tell you when you call to cancel. So after verbally canceling, we were charged automatically for another month, even though we had moved. When we called again, to say we had cancelled and ask for a refund, they took our info again. We were then charged again...for another month. When we called for a fourth time, we were then told that they need a 30 day written notice, per the contract...we signed 4 years ago. Who will remember that? And why did no one tell us this the first time we put them on hold and told them we may need to cancel? It took talking to a supervisor, after 2 months of trying to resolve, to then be told we will get back one of the charges. On average, they cost apx. $80 a month for just outdoor pest control, so it is a bit pricey. They do come if you need anything. read more

Terrible service, was billed incorrectly. I called many times but you can never reach a person in the billing department. Then they threatened to send me to collections for not paying an incorrect bill. I can't even get someone to call me back to cancel my service. On top of the billing issues, their products don't even work and we had more roaches and spiders in our house this summer than I have ever experienced in my life. The idea of them being on retainer is also a joke - no one responds to you when you ask for someone to come out and spray again because your house is still crawling with bugs. read more

Don't expect them to show up when scheduled. I asked them to come between 1 and 3. I confirmed this day and time the day before service. They show up at 9 am when I'm not there. I call to tell them this but they said I was scheduled for 8-10 (not true). They say they'll come the next day between 1 and 3. It is a no- show. I call them and they said they'll have technician call. No one calls. I call a few days later. We schedule a day and say between 1 and 3. Tech shows up at 10. Thank goodness I happened to be home at that time or the fiasco would have continued. I have a feeling that it was their computer system that contributed to disorganization. Each time I called, the person always had to apologize for their computer being slow. Based on reading other reviews on here, I wonder if their system was scheduling everyone form 8-10. I give them 2 stars instead of 1 because the product apparently works. The few roaches I've found are dead or close to death. However, if you cannot depend on them to come when they say they will, then the point is moot. read more

Face it: we live in Houston and, therefore, we need exterminators. I have used Nature's Pest three times and love them as much as you can love your bug guy! They are always on time (the first two times they were early), call before they come, and are totally professional. They wear those booties over their shoes so they don't track dirt into your house. Chris has come twice and he is fantastic! I've had the regular spray done for roaches, ants and spiders, and the bugs disappear after a few days (it takes a few days for the stuff to really start working) and it lasts nearly a year at my house. I've also had my yard fogged for mosquitos. Let's be honest: it's Houston, so mosquitos are going to be here. But the yard fog really helps and I don't get swarmed when I walk outside for five minutes...and neither do my cat and dog who also both love being outside. It time releases over 30 days, so it lasts a while. It doesn't kill every single mosquito, but it helps. I have used the Yelp coupon and had no problems. I also find the people who schedule the appointments very helpful and friendly. It probably sounds like I was paid to promote Nature's Pest, but I can assure you I was not. I just like the fact that they're local, care about their customers and do what they say they are going to do. You can't beat that with a stick! read more

Not sure where to start, other than to say that I've been completely underwhelmed by Natran's service and effectiveness. I agree with many of the other posts about customer service, scheduling and promptness. Do not expect Natran to accommodate your schedule, they call they day before telling you what time they plan to come the next day. Please don't try to change that or expect them to come at the actual time the quoted. We've also noticed that the products they use don't seem to work quite as well as other pest control services. We often see bugs in our house, ones that other services seemed to take care of completely. Honestly, I'd look elsewhere for pest control. read more

We started using natures pest for yard fogging when they had a special on groupon. We have continued to use them for mosquito treatment. It has almost always worked. The 1 time it didn't, we called and they came out to spray again. For pest control, we had always used terminix. I will never recommend them. Natures pest has given us everything that terminix could not- fantastic customer service, thorough technicians , and a consistent, timely schedule. I could not recommend natures pest more. I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review but I guess better late than never. For my home, I did not want to use any harsh chemicals and decided to go the natural route. It has been about 8 months since we started using the service and are happy with the company and the products. Initially I called a few companies and tried to do a cost comparison (natural vs. regular pest control) and found the prices to be fairly similar. So I decided to enroll in Natran's bi-monthly plan and it has been a good experience. Jordan is very friendly and always does a thorough job around the house. I am always impressed by the pride he takes in his work and will continue to support him and Natran. I had one other tech come out a few month ago and he was also very friendly and thorough so it seems like their staff is professional and well chosen. Nature's pest came out and sprayed my yard this week. James called ahead and was so sweet and helpful when I called back after I realized I had left my dog out. He blocked off the doggie door so my little guy wouldn't get out. A small thing but it's great for someone to just help and not act like you are putting them out. And no more mosquitos! read more

However, they have drastically improved since and the service I now receive is top notch, better than it has ever been. The products they use are extremely effective, and I really appreciate the fact that they are long lasting, water resistant, and safe for all of my pets. The scheduling and payment processes are handled with utmost efficiency and professionalism by the friendly office staff. The ones who deserve the highest praise are the service techincians themselves. This season all of my pest control needs have been handled by Jordan. He walked us step by step to show us what was happening with our house and what we needed to make sure the problems did not get worse.Having dogs in the house it made my mind rest easy knowing that the chemicals were not harmful to my pets.
