I also love that in the summer, their hours are later than some of the other local places -- thank you for not always catering to when the university students are in town! I like that they use organic açai and juices to make their soft-serve base for all bowls. I also love that they have a gluten-free granola option that is also vegan for those with that dietary preference. The Vortex and Volcano bowls are my top picks. This is my favorite place to get açaí bowls in Tucson. It's a great value and the staff is always kind whenever I want to do any sort of substitution. I typically get the Red Rock Bowl. Sometimes I'll substitute the raspberry puree for honey and it's really great that way too. There's always a great balance of everything in the bowl (granola, fruit, and açaí) any time I've tried anything. You gotta try this place the next time you're nearby. This is a good spot for smoothies and bowls. Our group had the Kona Smoothie and the Iron man, plus a Red Rock Bowl. The Red rock was a raspberry based bowl with açaí blend topped with a ton of granola, plus Goji, Banana, raspberries and a raspberry purée. I didn't like the added sweetness of the purée but would get this bowl again without that topping. The Iron Man smoothie was well received by my husband: açaí, strawberries, banana, peanut butter and chocolate with cashew milk. You can't go wrong with peanut butter, chocolate and banana in your smoothie, though I found the peanut butter taste to be a bit overwhelming. My Mom enjoyed her Kona smoothie and had never had a smoothie before. We were trying to find a frozen yogurt shop but with no luck so got smoothies instead and now I think I have converted her. read more

I wish the containers were not plastic because it makes my hands super cold haha but thats just preference. I have tried their sedona bowl and brazillian. Both are delicious. I got 2 bowls, $14.85, left a tip for a flat $20 fee. The Brazilian and the Sedona bowl I think, one of which was full of granola and fruit, the other Acai and fruit with barely any granola. I got there at 9pm, they close at ten so I don't get the trash service. It's like they only blended enough for one bowl and then just said fck it. They didn't even make it look appealing!
