Great customer service. Had a problem once and Justin the owner made it right. Thats a true test of integrity when someone doesn't blame it on something else. I've known nothing but very prompt response time and getting things working quickly. It always happens when theres a cold spell or a heat wave and I can't have my tenants hurting. Being an out of state owner I'm very happy with them taking care of my properties and glad that they have more than HVAC (since I've done all I can in this area!) because I genuinely appreciate the great service. So Justin from Berry Good Heating and Air came to my home and lied to me about what's wrong with my furnace. He used scare tactics and backhand insults to try and sell me a new unit costing $3400. He was in and out with my $100 after being there about 10 minutes. These are the people that make it hard to trust these home service businesses. I would stay far from these guys. I have an old friend that happens to be an Engineer and a HVAC tech. He has worked on my furnace and A/C over the years. He was not available until after hours and I wanted my air back on faster because it was so cold, so I decided to get these guys out sooner. Terrible mistake! Justin thought he could run a fast one! He removed my fan and pointed to a vent that is designed to be there and tell me that is the reason Carbon Monoxide is going to come up through my vents into my house and kill us! Disgusting! Sooooo dishonest! My guy actually tested the fan and the circuit board and identified the actual issue, which didn't require the unit replaced just the fan and the circuit board. I would give zero stars if I could. I am filing a report with the BBB. They did a horrible job replacing our air conditioning units and our furnace about a year and a half ago. I had another company come out and inspect everything. Turns out they did a horrible job installing everything and we have had C02 leaking into our crawlspace and pulling back into the blower. I called Berry Good on a Sunday morning at 8 a.m. He arrived a half-hour later! We had a bit of a situation because the home has two A/C units and we didn't know where the indoor unit for one of the systems was located. Not only did Justin search the entire house on a sweltering summer day, he was able to locate the unit, which was behind a locked door. We didn't know which key went to the door. He patiently tried a pile of keys and opened it. He quickly identified the problems: The thermostat had conked out and the filters had not been changed. He had all the parts on hand that were necessary to complete the job, which took only an hour and a half to complete. His rates were extremely reasonable, especially on a weekend! A year ago December 2021, had a new heat pump unit installed and was charged doubled the price. The going rate was $3k these folks charged 6k+. Due to holiday and sick family members I paid the price. Beginning 2022 summer season it didn't cool .. called and was told I would have to pay for labor for service call. I didn't because I reminded him it's under warranty. Almost a year later began experiencing heating problems Christmas week while unit still under warranty. I called for 5 days and left message as the voice mail states, " we honor our word and promise to call you back," that never happened. Called day 6... and advised never received a call and wanted to make sure warranty was still honored the guy said he can't control 300 calls (for the no call back) and couldn't honor the warranty... we exchanged words he proceeded as if going to schedule service call and hung up. AMAZING SERVICE! I was able to schedule an appointment to have them come look at replacing my AC unit within 24hrs. Everyone I spoke was so professional and courteous. Technician came very promptly and diagnosed my AC problem. When I asked for options to repair it, he gave me a quote for $1,400 to replace my unit with a used one. I asked if he could install a second hand unit I provided and he said he couldn't. At that point he became pretty unresponsive and unhelpful. He didn't really talk me through the problem except to tell me my unit was shot and I wouldn't be able to find the right part to fix it. He was obviously in a hurry to leave. He charged me $60 for the service call and was at my house for a total of 15 minutes. He gave me virtually no information and I'm back at square one. Considering how little I got for how much I paid, I don't think I'll be using them again. read more

We called them to fix our A/C. They put too much freon in it, and 24 hours later, the A/C was broken again. We already knew that we would need to replace the whole HVAC unit in a couple of months, but they said their repairs would hold us over for that two months, so we were surprised to find ourselves replacing it in less than 36 hours after paying them $330 to "fix" the repairs. My absolute favorite, and by favorite I mean the thing that angers me the most, is that when my wife called them, they told her that overfilling the system with freon or over "charging" the cooling system can't cause problems. In their words, "that's not how it works, ma'am." This place is BS. my daughter in law set up an appointment with the jonesboro location for 430 Friday afternoon because our AC and heat went out. she waited around the house for them to show up and nobody showed up so at 5 o'clock she called them and they said she wasn't even on the schedule. whoever she talk to did not put her on it and they said they can set her up an appointment for Saturday with an appointment window from 11 to 1 so she set that up. then Saturday got here and at 12:30 she called them and said is someone still coming out because it was almost 1 o'clock and they told her yes she is on the schedule someone will be there shortly. three more hours went by till almost 4 o'clock and my wife started calling them back. And they never answered and after she called for the fourth time someone just picked up the phone And hung it up now my four-year-old daughter gets to go all weekend without heat or AC all because we trusted them to show up on either one of their appointment times. will never make that mistake with this place again! read more

Over charged my elderly mother $94 over invoice price. Called to get the money refunded two days ago. Still waiting! Other issues - will not call to let you know they are not coming on day scheduled or running behind. One scheduled service was not called at all and did not show. Next morning I had to call and was told 'computer was down' and they couldn't call people to let them know. Unacceptable. Will not do business with again. Update 4/27/16: We did receive a check for the $94 refund. Please verify if they are charging more than the invoice. I contacted this company in April 2017 to replace an air conditioning unit. Four months later the unit starts to leak. I called Berry Good and they sent a technician to come out to look at the unit. Instead of repairing the unit the technician tried to sell me plumbing services. I asked them to send out a different technician. They sent out the same guy. After three failed attempts to repair the unit I had another company come out and replace the Berry Good air-conditioner. In the meantime I incurred a bill of $900 to remove the water from my home and a bill of almost $3000 to repair the water damage. If Berry Good knew what they were doing the situation could have been repaired within 12 hours of the first sign of the leak. Because this company is incompetent, the entire matter took 23 days to fix. Berry Good refused to pay for the damages and I filed suit against them. Service was great when I first bought unit but in less than a year unit has had several issues. When I have tried to get unit maintenanced, no return calls and no show for scheduled service.
