They only recommended replacing what was needed. They said my patio and garage roof was fine and they advised that I only replace the roof for the main 2,000 sq. Ft house which saved me money. I have a great friend nearby who is a general contractor and he came by to inspect the work first hand as well and confirmed they did great. Adam all the paperwork, city inspections and their fees, he was in touch every day with me to update me on progress and the job was done on time and as scheduled. They cleaned up well and it was problem free! They did some extra cleaning of skylights, touch up painting of gutters and even removed some wasp hives for free!

I received an email confirmation and have been patiently waiting through all the rain this week. Almost a week later, after DAYS of rain, living with a tarp on my floor, moving furniture, and waiting for Monday, they call to cancel. I received a call today, a few days before the appointment, that we are out of their service area and it wouldn't be cost effective for them to come. First of all, this is extremely unprofessional....even a little restaurant or pizza place would determine if you are in their delivery area. They had my address at the time I made the appointment and it was included on my confirmation email. This would seem like a basic business practice to see if I am in their area and at the very least I would expect a call immediately to cancel and not after almost a week of waiting. At this point, I thought I had an appointment and someone would be able to repair my roof soon. If I had known they wouldn't do so I would have been calling other companies during this week if downpour. I feel that this is their fault/oversight and they should have honored the appointment and done some staff training for whomever answers the phone. I guess I probably dodged a bullet if they are only focused on how much money they are going to make and don't actually care about their customers.

A young man came out with a drone and flew it over my house. I was initially impressed at the process, and the identified issues with my roof. I thought he'd climb up there to check it out, but he seemed to have it all worked out. He said I'd get a quote emailed to me, but after waiting a couple weeks, it never came. This brought me to Alpha Roofing. I scheduled an estimate, where I met Mario. The disrespect I felt with him flaunting his dodger hat to a deeply rooted Yankee home!!! yes, I proudly wore my Yankee hat as he and I bantered back-and-forth. We instantly hit it off. Mario is a personable and friendly guy, I felt comfortable with him. He came into my home to see the source of the leak and asked for access to my attic. He grabbed a ladder and climbed onto my roof first. I questioned him not having a drone and he told me he did, but for initial estimates, he needed to walk my roof to see what was going on. Once on my roof, he quickly identified everything the other roofing company mentioned and so much more. He found the source of my leak. The drone was great, but would never have caught the tiny holes left in my roof from removing solar pool panels. That gave me an Oh *hit moment! I quickly got an estimate and asked how soon the repairs could be done, as rain was approaching. Unfortunately, he told me it would take a couple of weeks. I braced for that. Next, there's Elsie. I was out with my granddaughters one day and kept getting a phone call from a number I didn't recognize. I get so many spam calls, I never answer my phone if I don't recognize the number, but Elsie was persistent. She probably called my phone five times. I finally answered and she apologized profusely for blowing up my phone, but was able to schedule me the next day for repairs. I was over the moon! I thanked her so much for her persistence!!!!! Finally, there's Jacob, Jonathan, and Gesar. What an amazing group of young men! They showed up bright and early, and ready to work. They were equally friendly and personable. Fun facts...Jacob is Mario's son. He too showed up in a dodger hat, which I had to express my dissatisfaction and told him it would reflect in his review, lol. Johnathan is a US Marine veteran, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!!! And Gesar "G", is the silent assassin. He didn't talk, but he was hard-working. Their work was quick, efficient, neat, and done right. Once finished, I was shown pictures of all of the problem areas, and progress photos showing their work up to completion, with in-depth explanations. Everything was done just in time for the big storm, and guess what? No more leak! Oh, and by the way... Mario's quote was less than half of the first roofing company who missed the source of the leak. My neighbor had a major issue with their roof during this last storm, and I was happy to refer Mario to them. He showed up promptly and put a tarp on their roof, pending clear weather to do repairs.
