Nissan is putting Hankook Dynapro HP2 tires on new Rouges. Please beware these tires are either not suited for the application or just defective. At 18,000 miles after doing all the tire rotations all 4 tires are worn and need to be replaced. Nissan WILL NOT stand behind the tires and refers people to Hankook. Hankook states they do not warrantee OEM tires. So the new owners of Nissan vehicles are responsible to replace the junk tires NISSAN placed on the cars. Think twice before buying any cars with these tires. Very disappointing when the dealer, car manufacturer and tire manufacturer sticks it to you. read more

I came in to get my headlights fixed for a recall and when I got the car back, it had a huge crack in the windshield. They kept claiming it was not there fault and already there when I dropped off the car so they wouldn't have to take responsibility. That on top of their expensive prices and general unprofessionalism makes this by far the worst Nissan Dealership I've been to. Avoid this place at ALL costs. read more

The maintenance department is not professional or upfront with their prices. I purchased a 2014 Nissan Sentra about a year ago and the check engine light came on after about 6 months. I brought it back to Nissan and they worked on it over 3 times replacing wires, and other parts. I had purchased the extended warranty through Nissan when I purchased the car so I was not expecting to be charged anything. After several visits with out charges they slapped me with a $160 bill even though they said originally that there would not be any charges. They claimed that my Insurance dive (Allstate Drivewise) was causing the check engine light and voided the warranty. I was not pleased. The Service manager Cliff was very rude when I asked for a refund as I had the extended warranty. He refused and made it seem like they were doing me a favor because they should have charged me more for the "other visits". After about a week of driving the car without the drivewise device the light came back which infuriated me because they charged me to fix an issue that was not fixed! I had to call Nissan National Customer service to complain and involve them with my complaint. I have taken my service to Glick Nissan and Westboro and have had no problems. They were able to fix the check engine light without issue and did not charge me as it was covered under the warranty. They also have a high level of customer service, unlike the people over at Betera- I will never by a Car from them again or take it there to be serviced. AVOID AT ALL COST! read more

Made an appointment a week in advance for a 2:30 oil change. When I arrived they told me it was going to be $30 more than my previous two oil changes there. I enjoy Nissan and Infiniti products very much. I have always found them reliable and virtually bulletproof. That being said I do not feel as though this dealership, especially their maintenance department even begins to resemble what I have loved about Nissan in Washington DC or Philadelphia. Just to be clear before I rant, I have a Nissan service plan (bought when I purchased the vehicle) and an extended warranty (bought from Nissan when I purchased the vehicle). Needless to say this has nothing to do with payment for services rendered. Pulled in for an oil change in their quick lane, the sign posted says to stay with your vehicle. I waited, for what seemed like forever, nearly 10 minutes before I went in to get one of the service staff that were standing in a group of 4 at the service counter just chatting it up. While I would say that maybe they didn't notice me but 3 of them made eye contact with me and two maintenance techs. walked by and said hello to me. Upon walking in I stood and waited again and they told me I should be waiting with my vehicle. The only thing I can say to that is "Come Get It. Your being paid, by Nissan be-it, for service for my vehicle. Your not the only game in town." They took my keys and again had me wait another 10 minutes to check in. Why the wait, I'm not sure but there wasn't a single customer there and there were now three services employees behind the counter. At this point I'm about ready to walk out take my keys back and drive to Westboro, their service department, while a little cramped, actually is attentive to customers. They offered to replace my cabin filter for $110. Thats shocking because it takes me less than 5-minutes and $14 dollars for the part. By the way, I highly recommend doing this service yourself as it is probably the easiest to do. Don't believe me check the you-tube videos as the show how this is done very well. If you don't want to go to you-tube try Car Quest, their filters come with installation instructions. Once the oil change was done they just parked my car and walked off. Didn't come and let me know it was completed. I actually walked out and saw my car waiting so I walked in and again waited to be signed out. When does the customer have to being to provide customer service for themselves? In my opinion, Worst Service Shop Ever. read more

Avoid Bertera. I recently had to make an emergency stop at another dealership for a nearly $600 repair because my Altima was running extremely rough. While diagnosing the problem they discovered that my engine oil had been significantly overfilled. Do you know where I last got my oil changed? Bertera. Overfilling the oil affects the oil pressure which controls the solenoid that failed. When I called Bertera to address this issue the service manager claimed that their mistake didn't damage the part. Even if the oil was not directly responsible, it is quite arguable that the strain it put on the system certainly played a part. Either way, he said that there was nothing he would do to fix this situation. With regards to the overfill, all I got was an "Oh, sorry we did that." Overfilled oil can cause increased wear on an engine so the silver lining is that I found out about it before a more catastrophic failure occurred because of Bertera's negligence. This was not the first time that they have made a mistake when servicing my car, so there is clearly a trend here. If you think that a lack of attention to detail and avoidance of responsibility are good characteristics for a dealership then Bertera is your place. I will never return here and I strongly urge you to avoid them too. read more

Terrible service, staff and experience. It took them 2 hours longer than expected with an appointment to complete a simple maintenance job and then on top of it gouged me on the price. They also told me they needed to clean my battery terminals and wanted to change me 40$ to do so. I'm no rocket scientist but I know it only takes 5 minutes (if that) to clean any possible corrosion that could have been on my terminals. Absolutely outrageous. I will never return to this location for future service. read more

Was quoted 1 price. When the vehicle got to the service department the price increased 61% for the same service. They stated it was a website glitch. After several calls and dealing with 2 people and demanding a manager they agreed to the website price. Called another Nissan dealership just to see what their price was for the same service. The other dealer was half of the discounted web price at Bertera. Feeling very ripped off. After 6 years of service and 2 vehicle purchases from them, I will never be back. read more

I took my truck in for an oil change and mentioned that there was a clunking noise when going over bumps. They did the oil change and said they took it for a drive and verified they heard a clunking noise. Then they charged me $150 for labor....just to drive my truck and verify there is a noise. I called the manager, Brenden, who was completely useless! He said that I agreed to the charge, which there is no way in hell I would. I WILL NEVER BE BACK.....STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

They charge you for an hour of labor to look at your car ~$100 so you now have incentive to stay and have the work done there. They then came back to me with an estimate for $260 for a hub bearing and wanted to charge two hours of labor. I searched online and found the OEM bearing for $160 and countered by pointing out that I could replace the part in 20 minutes. The rep knocked an hour off the time without question and cut down the price on the part. These guys are rip off artists. Additionally, they wanted to charge me nearly $1,000 to replace my radiator which was leaking. I went to a second shop that thoroughly inspected my radiator and told me it was fine. I went to Bertera 's service center because the window on my car would not roll up. They charged me $99 to look at it since it was an automatic window they had to take the door apart. They told me I needed a new motor and it would cost me $500 to fix. I left and took my car to another auto body place. They fixed the motor within 10 minutes and chargers me $20. They also informed me that whoever just looked at the car just ripped the insulation off the door. I took my car back to Bertera and although they never admitted to any wrongdoing, the service manager agreed to give me my $99 back. However, it took 3 weeks and several emails before I got the check back. My advice is to get a second opinion before you have anything fixed there. read more

If I could rate it lower than one star I would. Awful, awful dealership. Cliff and Dennis in service are the worst dealer employees I have encountered at any dealer. Vehicle went in for service under warrantee and they had the car for three weeks, never returned calls, lied about the replacement of the transmission, didn't arrange a loaner car, failed to fix the car in any way shape or form and then told me to come get it because they could not fix it. I had it towed to a Nissan dealership in NH and it took less that five minutes (LITERALLY!) for them to diagnose the issue as a transmission that had failed and are replacing it at no cost or bother--something Cliff and Dennis lied to me and stated that was already completed--yet no record of this exists in Nissan Corporate's records or in their own personal records which were given to me. Bottom line? The most incompetent group of people I have encountered in my 42 years. read more

I had a great experience with Bertera Nissan's Service Department, in particular with Bob. My boyfriend and I were over 350 miles from home, and still over 150 miles from our vacation destination when my transmission failed on the highway. We were able to make it to Betera Nissan, and were greeted by Bob. Bob took our information, listened to the symptoms of the car, set us up with a nice loaner, and helped transfer all of our luggage. We were on our way within 30 minutes, and heard from Bob just a few short hours later and he explained the problem with the transmission, stated that he ordered the replacement, that everything would be covered under warranty, and the car would be ready upon our return home. On the day we were heading back, we heard from Bob and he stated the car would be ready between 1 and 2pm, so we got started on our trip. Upon arriving at the Service Department, we were again greeted by Bob, the car was ready as promised, and he again helped us transfer our luggage, filled out some papers and were on our way again, within 30 minutes. No one wants their transmission to die, but I feel it was meant to be when we were near Bertera's. My car is now running great and we were able to enjoy our vacation stress free.
