Great customer service! My car needed work after an accident and the staff here really helped me out. They gave me a deal on how much I would have to pay once my deductible was all used up and they even gave me a loaner car for free for the three weeks it took to make the repairs (and a nice 2020 car, not the expected POS loaner type) This was my second time going here for work and every time they are very attentive when you walk in, call, or even text. The work done made my car look brand new, and they even fully cleaned the outside and inside before returning it to me. I feel like their prices are a bit high, but I didn't hear back for an estimate from anywhere else so maybe they were exactly where they should be. Absolutely incredible service. They got me in as soon as I wanted to come in. I asked how much for an oil change and detail service and they said $50-$80 for oil depending on what I drive and $50-$80 for the detail depending on the condition of the car. On the day of, I accidentally slept in and they texted asking if I was coming. Then they let me move the appointment an hour later. I was in such a rush I didn't have time to clean my personal belongings (nothing gross, just random objects) out of the car. They said it was fine. That day they closed at 1 and I couldn't make it back there by then. They let me leave it there for 2 days. When I came to get it, it was so gorgeous and clean. The bill was something like $122. For an oil change and a detail! I drive an SUV. So incredibly reasonable. I of course tipped for them putting up with my antics and it didn't seem like they expected it at all. I was working out of my home town zone in Hollywood and i had a catastrophic failure of an integral fuel system part on my 80k mike 2015 Ford Transit. Art was so incredibly accommodating and customer friendly that he got my car situated on the lot (from being towed there by AAA). Worst experience ever!! I had my 09 Dodge Charger SE towed in for overheating. They recommended replacing the thermostat to solve the problem. After $700 of work they informed me that replacing the engine would solve the problem, another $3,200 added to the $700. Ridiculous why not do a proper diagnosis to determine that an engine replacement would be the solution. 1st & last visit ever. Others beware....... I have been going here for some time now and wanted to share my experiences. First of all, I go out of my way to come to Bert's from the valley because I only trust them to work on my cars and I don't get any run around or BS that I've dealt with before with other mechanics. I have compared prices with parts and labor with my Chrysler 300 and my C class and he has better prices than the previous mechanic I was going to and the ones around my house. I recently changed my 300s front struts, ball joints, 4 control arms, breaks, Radiator, thermostat and they fixed my AC which was not cooling correctly and was making a horrific knocking noise. Everything was fixed properly and I have no issues whatsoever. You get clean cut service here, and leave knowing you got a fair price on what you paid for. I came here for my personal car and now I take all my families cars here for regular service as well as hiccups down the line.
