You can get your oil changed here. Don't expect much beyond that. I just moved to the area and wanted to stick with Jiffy Lube since I've used them in the Valley for 12 years and I assumed my vehicle history would be viewable in my profile, keeping one thing simple during the chaos of a move. I was very happy to see this location was a little slower than the one I previously went to as I was able to just pull up and not be in a que of vehicles. The check in and overall oil change was efficient and smooth. The person I spoke to was fine; not overly personable or friendly but did his job. What brings my overall experience down was that as I left the person handing the vehicle over asked if I paid; which is a totally valid question but something I've never been asked at any oil change shop since most times you're leaving the waiting room where you pay. I kindly said yes and hold the receipt up that was in my hand. He maybe didn't hear or see me hold the receipt up and asks me again if I paid and i say yes again. He doesn't acknowledge my response but instead starts to walk away but watches me suspiciously as I enter my car. That final interaction of feeling like I was being accused of not paying for the services is what makes my experience not the best. read more

The elderly man with white hair and beard " greeted" me with a what!? I asked how much it was. He said 120$. I said to myself " huh I thought it was cheaper over on Adams/fairfax" he yelled WELL I THOUGHT EGGS WERE CHEAPER WHAT DO YOU wANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT?" Stopped me in my tracks. He was trying to sel me the high end synthetic. I just wanted the cheap stuff as eggs really aren't cheaper and I need to save a dollar. . So rude and nasty. Went down melrose to Valvoline and not only got it at 65$ they gave me a discount and were very nice about it all. Maybe the jiffy lube guy needs to retire. Maybe he neeeds a good bowel movement. Been coming year for the last few years, and this review is long over due , everyone here is a complete professional, the 3 guys in glasses never made me feel scammed or up sell me on services I know I don't need , yes some days get busy so it's not always 15-30 minute , Rule of thumb if you see 2 cars In front of you , you'll be there a while might as well go across the street to chipotle or pinks , don't get mad they have other cars to service Last thing I didn't have my receipt for a battery that was failing me but they looked me up on the system and replaced it immediately 10/10 service read more

I highly recommend the La Brea location in Hollywood. David, and Gelen took my car right away and fixed my brake pads and changed the sensors so quickly that it was such a relief. The cost was reasonable and the coffee wasn't that bad either! read more

Made me wait 20 minutes without even acknowledging I was there. Finally a guy came and told me there was an hour and a half wait. (With only one care in front of me getting an oil change. I visited this location without an appointment and I had ZERO wait time. David was the attending mechanic who quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with the passenger side headlight on my car. He was personable, knowledgeable and very efficient. The cost was very reasonable. Going to the dealership would have been far more costly, with a longer wait time. The blatant lying to customers faces bothered me the most. My car was in an underground garage for a few weeks during the fires we had this year and when I finally took my car out to get an oil change, they insisted the filters had so much ash residue. There was hardly any smoke where I live and I didn't appreciate using a natural disaster to try and scare me into buying new filters. I went home and bought my own to change them myself, and noticed that the filters were so clean and practically new still! read more

Your air filter up-sales at over 100% STINKS of greed and is ONLY the tip of your melting iceburg. Excellent service, but long waits! After getting price quotes from a couple dealerships and another oil change shop down the street, Jiffy Lube had the best price for brake fluid service. I made an appointment for 1pm during a weekday thinking it wouldn't be busy. Boy, I was wrong! Upon arrival there was a line of cars to the back alley. After waiting for 20 minutes past my appointment time, I hopped out of my car to get a mechanic's attention. I ended up dropping off my car and picked it up later that day (~5pm). They had asked me to leave my keys on the dash, but there was no way I was doing that on such a busy intersection. (There have been a lot of car thefts and break-ins in Hollywood.) Instead, I left my keys in the front office, which made me feel more comfortable. When I picked up my car, the mechanic was really nice and informative. Before dropping off my car, I also asked for a brake pad inspection because I used to live in a hilly neighborhood and recently did a hard break. The mechanic said my breaks were a little worn but overall in very good condition, but if I insisted on getting them changed he could get them done the next day. Overall, great service but it's best for those with time and patience. It's a popular oil change shop for a reason! read more

I went with a Groupon for a full synth oil change @$70. That all went very well. The person who explained everything and took my payment was really nice and helpful. 5 stars. Now, I'm not saying this was intentional, this was caused by most likely a need for more training...The mechanic was saying that my brakes in back were in the red and to change them now, and that my brakes in front were in the yellow and needed to be changed very soon. I don't drive a lot and had them done less than 6 months ago. I took my car today to a different location that's certified by the state to do inspections. Using the same measurement tool, they said there's no reason for me to change either set now and that I should back in 2k miles. read more

Omg I hate this place. Ugh. For starters they took forever to put oil in my car. They keep saying 15 minutes so I waited with my friend! We were gonna eat lunch but waited caused they said they almost done, they kept doing this when I realized it's been almost an hour I asked again how long is gonna take? I first came to the Jiffy Lube location around seven months ago with my car and the team here was so nice courteous and very quick and did an awesome job. When i was cashing out, a young man, also pointed out some other things that my car might need in the future, which I thought was very nice and ended up saving me money by fixing those problems before they escalated. I've had one of the worst experience here, not on the customer service level but a false advertisement level. Groupon has a deal with them where if they bring business they charge a certain amount and they get a percentage. Everyone wins here but the customer I had a coupon that said 74.99 and I just had to pay 54. 99 and additional 36 something and I explain to the gentleman, and he did not seem to care just stating facts. Used to love this location, had been going for years. they had a great manager who was super thorough. A mechanic had fixed the wrong part and to help repay for the error in what that cost me and my time (they had the car for 3 days) they credited me with a free oil change. Which I trusted they keep on my account. Went to go get that free oil change.... New management, and nothing on my account.
