Smoking bar. If you dont like cigarette smoke, avoid this place. My eyes were burning as I am not a smoker. Burger was overcooked and very bland. Fries and tots were awesome. Beer choices were limited. Cocktail was way to sweet for my wife. Season the burgers, dont overcook them, make a non smokers secti9n would be huge improvements. read more

when we first arrived to 4th street around 9pm all of the servers were outside staring at us walking in and followed us right behind. we sat in the dining room and our waitress barely checked on us the entire time. the food wasn't good at all like it use to be. we use to love coming to 4th street but now the atmosphere and the service is completely terrible: we will not be going back at all! read more

My friends got the mild wings and the honey mustard wings and they liked them. I got the chicken soup. I felt that the chicken soup was lacking flavor. The onions, celery, and carrots had the texture and tasted like they were cooked separate then added before serving... The onion had too raw of an onion taste. The 4th street pub is always on my list to visit when I'm in the area. They have killer sandwiches at great prices. My most recent visit was a bit disappointing, I ordered the usual famous steak and cheese and so did someone else in my party, the cook forgot to add the usual peppers and onions that normally comes with the sandwich, and for the first time i could ever remember , they had no clams. The beer selection was much smaller. Not sure if its under new management but after years of stopping here , something was definitely off this time. Hope they get it together, ill give it one more try next time I come by , hopefully they get back to the 4th street pub that they always were. read more

One of the best bars I've to in Hazleton. A bit pricey but the drinks and food are awesome. The customer service is excellent, bartenders are very knowledgeable. One of the Best in The Hazleton Area! I've had a few trips to the 4th street pub. Every so often I come on Tuesday or Thursday for their awesome deal on wings. Honey Mustard, Honey BBQ, Hot, Mild, Garlic, Sweet and Sour, ect, ect.. The list seems never ending. When good wings are hard to come by in this area, 4th street pub ends that with outstanding wings. I'm very picky when it comes to wings and there are few places I'll go for wings and 4th street has moved in my top choices. Aside from the awesome wings all the other food I have tried is amazing. The subs are tasty and packed with meaty goodness. So every so often I'll order a sub or some wings to go. The bar itself could use a little but of improving. While the atmosphere is typical for a bar setting. The dining area seems to get crowded easily so if you have to move into the bar side there will be smoking. I don't smoke but if it's wing night and the younger crowd is there then you aren't getting a dining side seat. So get ready to enjoy some smoke with your meal. It's also a bit crowded in general inside and seems very small, especially the bathrooms. The only other downfall is the lack of free refills on soda. However with the food as amazing as it is there. That is easily all overlooked if you are looking for incredible food. Keep in mind To-Go is always an option. read more

We ate outside. Great menu, including vegan choices. Jenn was friendly and quick. My wife enjoyed the vegan SAUSAGE & PEPERS HOAGIE and I had the GRILLED HOT SAUSAGE & SCAMUTZ. We had sides of jalapeno and garlic fries and draught beers. Would have had some jalapeno poppers but they were sold out. - good reason to come back. Easy parking across the street. First time I've ever been here. Was very impressed. Food was fast, fairly priced, and was actually really really good! Someone warned me not to go because it is smokey and I'm a non smoker, but i didn't notice any smoke or smell in the dining area whatsoever. The service was excellent, fast, and friendly. We will definitely return to try other items in the near future. The experience was 95% positive!! The only negative was that it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. There was no music or tv volume. So it is a bit awkward to have a conversation or to hear every table around you talking. But besides the dead silence, everything was awesome! read more

Really love the food here. Great sandwiches and the best burgers in the area. Never had a bad meal here. Only downside is the fact that they allow smoking in the bar area. Nothing ruins a great burger and a cold beer more than a dude vaping in the booth behind you. The "restaurant" side doesn't allow smoking but it isn't quite smoke-free. Having not spent much time in W Hazelton in many years and knowing that some areas were not the greatest we decided to try this place based on some of the other reviews. As we arrived in front of the place it did not look very inviting and wasn't sure what we would find behind the doors as we walked in. The interior was quite old. Looking at the place we wondered what did we get ourselves into. We ordered 2 sodas one cocktail and a beer which seemed to take forever to get. We ordered two burgers a pulled pork sandwich and their BLT along with an app of fried pickles. The food was excellent and it was all fresh not frozen burgers. The BLT was huge the bread was excellent. The fried pickles appeared to be fresh made as well. The only draw back was the app came out with the food. The only reason I didn't give the place five stars is that smoking is allowed something that I'm no longer used to as most states have banned smoking in public places stores and restaurants. Other than that don't let the look of the place or neighborhood scare you. They have great food and reasonably priced. The cost for the four of us is what I would pay for two back home. read more

Was visiting a friend in Hazleton and was in the mood for some good wings so we decided to go to 4th Street since there wings were always one of my favorites. It was a Saturday afternoon and there were some people over on the bar side but we opted to sit in the dining area. A woman walked past us three times and just looked over without acknowledging our presence. Finally as my friend and I were standing up to leave a younger girl came out from the bar side and said she would be right with us so we decided to stay. We got the bacon, cheddar, blue cheese fries to share. I got mild butter garlic wings and my friend got mild wings. The fries were good and my friend enjoyed her wings. My wings were crisp just how I like them and the mild sauce was good, but the garlic kinda threw me off. I thoroughly enjoy garlic however the garlic they used was definitely the kind you get in a jar and there was way too much of it. Jar garlic is okay in a quick fix but in excess is not so good. The girl that waited on us was pleasant and the prices are right. I will visit again and hopefully can raise my rating. Just didn't like the wait for a server and won't get garlic wings next time. read more

They don't sell a dozen wings only 10. Very small wings for the price. Although the menus and website show 12. Wings are mostly drums. Most nights they will close the kitchen early. Stopped in to this very neat little place... almost felt like some kind of underground speakeasy. Lots of drink selection, big menu, juke box for music... friendly, informative bartender... why 3 stars then... well... we got boneless honey bbq wings. They were good. My other half got a cheesesteak, also good. As for myself I ended up with a Ruben sandwich that was ok... a HUGE and I mean H.U.G.E sandwich with good insides but it was served on thick grilled Texas toast style bread that was grilled so hard it ripped up the roof of my mouth with every bite... to add to the disappointment of this, I actually ordered a Cuban! But wasn't going to complain and wait to have a new sandwich made while my other half would either finish all his and have to wait for me or let it get cold... and it probably would have been on the same mouth grater giant sand paper bread.
