A couple minutes later he returned with our waters and an apology about the beers taking a long time because "the bartender was too busy talking." I got more of the impression that he forgot to put in our order at all, hence the quick turnaround to get waters when he realized he never came back to our table. We put in our food orders in the meantime- I ordered the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries and my husband ordered the roast beef sandwich with sweet potato fries. Drinks came out eventually and were huge/ice cold, which was nice. The food also came out within 10 minutes, which we had initially been happy about because we were so hungry and we still had an hour drive back to Indy. However, my Reuben sandwich had huge, thick chunks of meat vs thinly sliced beef and it was extremely hard to take bites of and took a long time to chew. Not sure if it's just for trivia night or always like that. Several times throughout our visit we kept getting hit with the smell of cigarette smoke because the patio is off the main sidewalk and no one monitors that people are actually far enough away from the building. Super unpleasant. This is definitely a fun place to meet friends for drinks, but I'd pass on the sandwiches and see if other menu options are better.
