I called several AC companies and none got back to me…read more These folks got back to me within the same day, and sent someone to inspect the attic within 24 hours. They told me the inspector would be there between 9AM - 12PM. He was there at 9:01AM. He let me know that my ducts were BUSTED. Like really bad. Gaps everywhere, broken stuff. The "Miami special" he called it. Showed me videos of all the issues to verify what he was saying. Although at first I thought the quote they gave me was a bit on the higher end, after I saw everything they did I've changed my mind and think the quote was honestly very fair. They replaced all the ducts in my attic, hung them (they were lying on the floor before...), replaced all the vents, covered my entire house in plastic, added an air return to a bedroom, picked up all the debris when they were done, and did all that in just like 3-4 hours. Honestly these folks are incredible. Shoutout to Amit. Such a friendly and funny guy. He took the time to explain to me all the issues he was seeing and why they mattered. He was the first one in a line of guys to finally explain that the master bedroom was so hot (5+ degrees hotter than rest of the house) because it didn't have a return. Once they installed that it feels like I have a new house. I've never slept better.

Sidney came when he said he would, which I very much appreciate. I originally requested the Dryer vent be cleaned because my dryer was heating, but not drying after I purchased the home only a few weeks ago. He came out to inspect my vents to see if there was a need for sanitization, and to clean the vent, and thank goodness he did. Not only did he find mold in my AC unit, but he found that the dryer vent was completely disconnected and taped off. He quoted me, got the parts, and went above and beyond any expectations I ever had. He and his team came out today and cleaned the mold, sanitized the vents, installed a purifier that will keep that will help keep my air clean, and also fixed the issue with the vent so I can finally use my washer and dryer again! He diagnosed both issues and explained it thoroughly. He left to the supplier and can back promptly and fixed both appliances. It turned out nothing was wrong, it just took time for the refrigerator to cool off as it had been opened for a long time the day before to allow the ice to thaw. It's scary when faced with having to spend thousands of dollars but I took a leap of faith on my belief that I'm good with separating the good people from the bad. John brought in Adriel and Nestor to run the duct work and install the vents. In my attic. In South Florida. In July. Yes, it was extremely hot up there but they were able to work their magic and run ducts into some difficult area through concrete walls. They are all great guys and they did a wonderful job. I couldn't be happier with my choice to hire Elite Air Services and I highly recommend them to anyone.
