From time to time, we have had issues with our Kitchen Aid trash compactor. It has a tendency to shift a bit and the metal switch that is supposed to trigger it to stop can get bent to the point where it is not functioning as intended. Unfortunately, a lot of companies have stopped making these appliances, and a good number of appliance repair companies refuse to work on them. NT indicated that they were happy to help, and it was easy to book a timely appointment with Nate, the owner. He arrived when he was expected, and did a great job getting us up and running. He repaired my clothes dryer yesterday at a reasonable price, but had to come back today as I thought something was still wrong. My boyfriend has used Nate twice. This is my first time of using his services. My washing machine quit emptying the water. He was able to figure out why it had quit working and said it would be OK now, but when he would turn it with his hands from inside it was a little bit harder to turn than it should be. So I said as long as you're here, would you mind just replacing the part? It just took him a few minutes and he had the new part in and my washing machine up and running again. Nate was very responsive with his emails and arrived when he said on Monday morning at 10:30. My 2 1/2 year old Whirlpool Dishwasher was non-operational with absolutely no power except for 2 different flashing error codes. Nate got to work right away to figure out the problem, taking off the front of my dishwasher. His years of experience as well as his diagnostic tools showed that the error codes did not necessarily provide accurate information but that the motherboard of my dishwasher had failed possibly from the recent freak electrical storm that went thru Carmichael.
