I had an excellent experience having my high-end appliances (Sub-Zero and Wolf) installed by Best after buying them at Snyder Diamond, who recommended them. I scrolled through the reviews for this company (btw, the name is spelled wrong on Yelp... it's Installation!) and I was surprised by the other experiences people have had. This was not the case for me. I have had those kinds of experiences with installation by other companies so I appreciate the times things go well, which they did for me with Best. The installation crew... Gabino and Christian... did an excellent job, were very thorough and careful, and easy to have in the house. (Again, not my experience with other companies). Erik was great at communication (as was everyone I talked with at Best) and the company was very accommodating with my ever-changing schedule (my kitchen ended up being delayed almost two months). I would definitely use Best again for appliance installation. read more

DO NOT USE this company! We purchased all of our appliances from Snyder Diamond and they recommended Best Appliance. They charge $1475 for a so called "Best"experience installation. Well they damaged almost everything they touched. They scratched my cabinetry and didn't say a thing about it. The wrong temperature knobs were put on the stove. They installed the hood liner crooked, never started up the fridge or take off any of the greasy, sticky plastic. And they failed to do a walk through with anyone before leaving. They just left. I called Snyder Diamond to let them know that this was the type of company they had representing them. The worst thing they did was charge our credit card $16,400 instead of $1475. That created a snowball effect with another set of problems when we tried to use our credit card the next day. We ended up getting the over charge back many days later, but Raquel, who claimed she was the owner and is not, wouldn't make any adjustments to the installation price despite all the damage they caused. Their customer service over the phone thumbs up! Unfortunately, they were not able to help me with the washing machine drain pan. I assumed they would since they deal with the installation of appliances. They aren't able to cut a hole on the dish pan that goes under the washing machine. STAY AWAY...USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!! I used Best Appliance Installation for a cooktop installation. Initially, I called to get an estimate and insure the appliance would fit. A two person team came and looked at the cutout and the diagram and size of the new cooktop. I was told it would fit and the company would call back with the installation price in a few days. I waited a few days and no call, so I called the to see if they had an installation price. I spoke with Raquel and she quoted me $125 to install, $50 per cut of granite countertop and additional $125 for a stainless steel plate for any gaps. The price was better than other bids I received, so I scheduled installation. I was told they would call the day before installation to schedule a two hour window. My installation was scheduled for a Monday and I was waiting for a call on Friday prior since they didn't work on weekends. Well, no call. I called first thing Monday morning and spoke with Eric who schedules installation times. I was given a two hour window, 12-2pm. 2:00pm came and went, I called and spoke with Raquel, she told me they were running late and they would be there around 3:00pm. 3:00pm came and went so I called and spoke with Eric, again I was told they were running late and it would be another hour. Because of these delays I asked for a reduced installation price. Eric told me that the initial price I was quote didn't give him room to negotiate a reduced price. Finally, the installers showed up. The installation was trouble free except for the mess of cutting the granite. When the worker provided me the invoice the price was incorrect. They tried charging me $250 for installation plus additional $50 for haul away of the old cooktop. I told him the price I was quoted and that's what I would pay. The workers left, but I smelled a small amount of gas. By this time the office was closed, I called first thing the following morning and told them of the gas leak but Raquel didn't seem concerned, she said Eric would call. Eric never called, so I called the gas company and it turned out the gas line was not tightened correctly during the installation. read more

We called for the installation of a downdraft, we could not be happier with the work that Pepe did, he is a polite positive, nice even when he came out full of dirt and sweat from under the house, I actually felt sorry for the two of them, I thought that the price was right for the dirty and difficult work they had to do under the house, I would recommend Pepe to everyone that asks me for an appliance installer, Thank you Pepe for a job well done.Besides he was there when he said he would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They were referred by Snyder Diamond as authorized installers of our gas range. When their installers arrived, we received a phone call from them stating that the cost of installation was being jacked up from $250 to now $350. When asked for an explanation the guy on the phone said it was because we initially told him we were installing an "oven" rather than a "range." When confronted with the fact that what we gave him was the brand and model number so that they actually knew beforehand what was being installed, they said the price was still the same. When we pointed out the work required for installing an oven and range was no different (ie., one gas connection, leveling, and removing the scratch guards) the answer was the same. Con job! The installers themselves were okay. Charged me $250 to move my Viking stove 30 feet to the outside patio so I could get my floors redone. I did tip both of them generously. Two weeks later I got a call asking how I was going to pay the bill. The office made me send them a copy of the cancelled check, cleared two weeks earlier, to show I had paid. When I went to have the stove hooked up and moved back (the floor guys had put it in place, it was less than one foot out from the wall for the re-installation), they charged me $350 for the 10 minutes that took. I think the same guys expected the same tip and they seemed surprised and embarrassed by the sudden increased invoice they'd been sent with. Sorry, your company just got your tip, buddy. read more

Rudest installers!!! They have no sympathy towards what you have to go thru and yet expect for us to supply rags and towels because they do not have that. I'm getting my third Viking refrigerator right now because I keep getting the lemons. And then he scratches my island and when I said wow, Joel the installer started yelling and defending himself saying he'll fix that and I said how can you fix a scratched up paint. Luckily my husband was home or else this guy could've been abusive, the way he was talking and yelling, very intimidating. He shouldn't be working with people one on one if not able to handle problems. Vining, utmost worst appliance ever! And these companies they trust to send to people's homes is pretty sad. I wish I had read the reviews sooner. The other installer said its my fault that I bought an expensive refrigerator. And they only speak Spanish to each other, very professional! This should be Vikings selling point- Invest Big and we will assure you will get the Worst service and Worst item for your money. read more

I have to say that this was the worst experience having to do with an appliance installation I ever had. I paid through the nose and got punched in the nose. Scratched my black hardwood floors, swore up and down they did not do it and then after I spoke with Pepe, the owner, I was assured he would take care of it. After being stood up the first day , the guy came the following day. Problem ... he spoke no English and I was able to figure out he was a kitchen granite guy ...he showed me his shirt, and knew nothing about floors. Buyer/installee beware. Do not use this company. We had Nestor and Joel install a 48" Subzero Refrigerator/Freezer in our kitchen. They removed our old refrigerator and did a great job installing our Subzero. Nestor explained the things that I needed to know very clearly before they left and after they left you would never know they had been here. They cleaned up everything so well. This company was recommended to us by Snyder Diamond when we purchased our fridge and stove. I've since called Snyder Diamond and told them of the terrible experience we had with Best Appliance Installation in the hopes that they will stop sending them business. First, we called for weeks about scheduling an estimate and never got a call back, despite leaving multiple messages. This should have been our first clue. Eventually someone picked up when we called, and we scheduled the installation. The install itself was fine- they arrived within the scheduled window, were polite, and seemed to do a fine job. After they left, however, we discovered that the internal water dispenser on our fridge was not working. I spoke to our plumber who recently installed a water line for the new fridge and he told me they should have flushed the water line before hooking it up. I called them right away to arrange what seemed like a simple fix and had to wait a week for Raquel to fit us on the schedule. On two occasions, I was given appointment windows for service where no one showed up, so I wasted over 5 hours waiting at home. The third time we were told someone would come between 9 and 10am. At 10:30 that morning, I called to let them know no one had shown, and finally someone arrived. Even though I'd explained to Raquel over the phone many times what my plumber had told me, they neglected to flush the water line. Instead they were in and out of our kitchen in about 5 minutes and told us that it was a faulty water line. The water line is brand new, and we've now been 3 weeks without a functioning internal water dispenser, which was one of the main selling points of the fridge. Our experience with this company was beyond disappointing. It's clear that once they cashed our check they were not interested in making sure the appliance was actually installed correctly. I will never recommend them, and I hope Snyder Diamond follows through on their word to stop recommending them as well. read more

We had Best come and remove old and install a new double wall oven and a built in refrigerator. We found the installers to be very professional and courteous. Also, I have had to contact them a few times to plan the delivery of my old refrigerator to a family member. they always answer the phone immediately and are working with me to find a day that works for all 3 of the parties involved.
