This time around my wife says she smells something burning, somethings not right. She pin points the dryer as the culprit. We notice the drum is white hot. There are water drops coming out of the crevices. Witchcraft? Demon possession? No, blocked exhaust hose Alex from Swiftec Services explained to me over the phone. He says I can be there at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Blocked it was! Our poor LG dryer was a mess. Tons of lint had built up inside this thing. Alex took the thing apart and cleaned it thoroughly. He also replaced the exhaust hose. He got our dryer back in business. Before I called him I thought oh great, time for a new $900 dryer! His price was more than fair. I had a good experience with this company and want to share it where I can…read more Our refrigerator died on a Friday evening and I started calling around to find a place that could come by ASAP and help get it working again. TechPro ended up being one of the places I called and I'm very glad I did. I spoke with Murod from TechPro to see when they could come by and let them know what happened. They had an appointment the next morning (Saturday) and he was even able to give me some details and estimates for what it sounded like the problem was. He was very professional and extraordinarily helpful for me to understand the situation better. The tech came out the next morning and was wonderful. Courteous and quick. He even asked if he should take off his shoes when he saw we didn't wear shoes in the house. He found the problem and showed me the issue right away (partially fried power control board). Also let me know other issues that were potential causes and what those costs could be once they could be checked (needed power to be checked). In this case the fix that was needed unfortunately meant that it was a better choice for us to get a new refrigerator so we didn't have them do the fixes. Either way though, every part of working with them was really great from the first call to the billing. If I need any appliances repaired in the future they will be my only call (already saved in my phone).
