My LG dryer stopped working one day and i reached out to LG for repair they gave me a phone number for an appliance repair that is certified by LG. I called this place and Armen said that the inspection fee is $79 but that it is discounted from the overall repair cost. When we decided to go through with it he charged us $580 and then i asked him minus the $79 it would be $501 and he said no that it is $580. So i said whatever he fixed our dryer. 2 weeks later the dryer stops working again and it's the main control board that Armen had "ordered" and took three weeks to arrive. He came by and said it was the same issue and he would replace it under the 90 day warranty . It took three MORE weeks for the new main control board to arrive and now he is saying that there is no more warranty. Since the first day we paid $580 which was on 1/15/21 to today 3/3/21 it has not been more than 90 days. Our warranty should be ending 4/15/21. Please people save your time and reach out to an appliance repairman that will keep their word and do a good job. I asked Armen for a refund and he didn't message me back. Total waste of my time and my family's time. UPDATE 3/8/21 Dryer was "fixed" exactly a week ago and stopped working today. They probably don't even order new parts but just fix the damaged one. read more

EDIT: Armen reached out and apologized. He also gave us a full refund. My refrigerator, a GE monogram, was no longer cooling like it should. My wife and I were very disappointed as this is quite an expensive fridge and would cost a lot to replace. (The house we bought came with it) At this point, the fridge was still working but not cooling like it was supposed to. Armen came over and told me there were two things wrong. 1. The coils were dirty and needed maintenance. 2. The cooling system was no longer working and needed to be replaced. Armen informed me that the maintenance would be $390 and should fix the issue and we could avoid spending $3000 on a new cooling system. Yes, $3000?!? I agreed to let him perform the maintenance. Later that day, the Fridge was performing even worse. It was getting warmer and warmer and I was resigned to buying a new refrigerator. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and call a different repair man. The next day, the new guy came over told me the issue was a restriction in one of the pipes ... basically a blockage that prevented all the Freon (i think that's it) to go in. He said he could fix it for $200. Fixed!!!! For $200. I asked him about refrigerator maintenance and he informed me that would never be the issue. "The "other guy" was just taking your money" is what he told me. In addition, i asked Armen to look at my washing machine because it had been acting up. He told me the motherboard was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. The new guy spent 11 minutes working on my washing machine, changed one thing on it and it's working great. read more

My parents had an emergency with their washer. Long story short, the water leaked so badly that it leaked in to second floor and activated the fire, fire service showed and yada yada. We found out it was the washer, and we needed it repaired immediately. Arman from Best Appliance showed up in 30 min and not only did he repair the washer, he helped us clean washer and the whole area. I looked in Yelp and found Best Appliance Repair with a 5 star rating and 39 reviews so I called them up to repair my stacked washer and dryer. I asked how much they charge and Armen, the owner, said, it's $79 for the call but if they do the job then that amount is applied towards the job. He did call me to say that the washer is working ok but the dryer needs a part. I thought he said the job would cost $290 but he said later on that I missed heard, that it's $390. Since he only put in a part for the dryer and he was there inside one hour, I thought $390 was very expensive for the work. Also, the receipt that I got did not say Best Appliance Repair but it said Pasadena Appliance Repair. The good thing was that he came out the same day that I called him. read more

Really appreciated Arman's service! I had a broken VERY OLD washing machine and called him Monday afternoon at 4 PM frustrated with a plumber that didn't show. Very unprofessional. They came to look at my fridge the man told me if the problem persists that he will come back to look at it but for the most part he found nothing wrong with the fridge. He said if it does persist it could possibly be the ice maker (Which doesnt make sense to me because Fridgidaire had replaced it originally under the warranty) he said since we already paid $160 we're under warranty with them and to not worry they will come back out to look at it. So it's 01/23/22 and I called again for the dame issue and the representatives start telling me the technician said it the ice maker and water valve that are the issue which is funny because that's not what he told me. So they Wana try to charge me another $89 just to come look at it again when I already paid him $160 just too look at it and he didn't even do anything. So instead of being accommodating they just argue with me on the phone and are rude because they dont want to send me a technician unless I pay another $89. He said they will send a technician only if i order an ice machine plus they will charge me to install that. Mind you he only looked at our fridge once. What kind of company is this? I assumed by the 9.5 star rating they were honest and honorable. Donr use this crappy company they just want money. They did not even honor the 90 day warranty they wanted to try to charge me. I wish there were 6 STARS!! Armen is indeed the BEST Appliance Repair in Glendale. Very reliable and very thorough. My stand-alone freezer broke Sunday night. Armen came Monday, ordered the part and came back the same day the part arrived. As a special extra courtesy, he cleaned out the drain on my separate stand-alone ref ridge, too. When he was cleaning the drain for the fridge he diagnosed a slow leak in the freon and explained that a repair to the coils would be too expensive and I should instead start shopping for a new refrigerator unit now before the leak eventually shuts this unit down. So he's saved me from making another repair clay by letting me know this unit is gradually failing. Gives me time to plan ahead and avoid expense. read more

We asked ARMAN for help with our 15-20 year old refrigerator that we came home only to fund not running with a huge puddle of water underneath it and all of our food defrosted and close to ruin. I contacted another gentleman at a highly rated repair agency came to look at it; the repairman declared it DOA after determining that a circuit board had fried out and because it was no longer produced there was nothing he could do and suggested we would have to buy a new one. After scouring YELP, and reading multiple reviews, I contacted Best Appliance Repair and ARMAN came to our house. He worked so hard for well over an hour and diagnosed the issue and said that he could take the circuit board and have it rebuilt. ARMAN returned as promised with the repaired item, made a few other adjustments the other company had missed, and our refrigerator now runs like it is brand new. Oh thank god for Arman! If I could give him seven stars, I would! Our 'fridge died this past Sunday evening. Monday morning I called first thing and was told someone would be by between 1 and 4. At 11:00 a.m. Arman called and asked if he could come early! When is the last time THAT ever happened? He diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He told us it could take two days to get the part in, and we scheduled for him to come back on Thursday, resigning ourselves to the situation. Happiness! On Tuesday --today-- Arman called at 1:00 p.m. and said he was able to get ahold of the part faster than anticipated, and could he come by and finish fixing the refrigerator. You bet! It's now about 2:30. Arman just left, and our refrigerator is working.
