very poor customer service. HEIDI, who answered the phone was - used a voice that sounded exasperated, impatient - took a LOOOONG time to find my appointment, after giving her all information needed including a claims number -lied so much during the phone call, kept changing her story: 1- tech will be there in 15 mins then changed her story to 2- tech is outside your gate then after changed her statement to 3-tech waited for 20 minutes and left and finally said 4-tech was so far away cannot go back ALL these happened from 11:36am to 12:13pm with my window appointment from 10am to 2pm 5-Insisted that i go out to our gate, where the sidewalk is and get the tech guy 6-did NOT apologize for the mishap TECH MIKE - why he spent so time in his vehicle, did not even attempt to go inside the gate which was left unlocked for him and just left without even ringing the door bell and all along i was in the front side of the house waiting for him to come inside! There is NO reason for him not to go inside the front gate - all delivery people do so, the mail person do so, other service people to through the same gate - all of them know to call out or ring doorbell once the approach the main door of the house. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME! Avoid Heidi or Mike UNLESS they are re trained to do a better job ! read more

The repairman for my Bosch dishwasher was on the phone the entire visit with another tech telling him what to do. He diagnosed replacement of the electronic panel and pump without even taking it out of the cabinet, then spent a few minutes to get it back in. I told the company when I first called I needed expedited service as I was going out of town for an extended period. The estimate was for over $800 but they said I have to take it out and reinstall the dishwasher myself, I am a 73 year old woman living alone and it is ridiculous to spend that amount of money for a job and have to hire another tech to finish it! Also, since I am out of town, they will not apply the service call to the repairs as too much time will have passed. The owner said he would call to resolve but a week has passed with no notice. DO NOT CALL this company. read more

Then day of appointment tech was unreachable and didn't show up when the company said he'd be there. Then he tells me he replaced the part, but DIDN'T! First and foremost my GE washer is 14months old. I had almost given up from previous 2 difficult techs from other Companies that did nothing! they came I explained problems and said not covered and left!! it was very frustrating and got upset at me for asking ' Are you a licensed tech from a reputable repair company?!! I tried 3rd Service company called MAC and Serge came out with great advise and worked on problems to resolve my GE washer! Serge even did a load to test so at least I know what I need to do to make sure the machine operates well. Best value!! My Appliance Clinic (MAC) was contracted to repair a dishwasher. Not only was the company negligent in ordering the part, for 3 months they told me the part was on back order; however, I called the vendor myself and had the part delivered the following week, the MAC repair resulted in a dishwasher leak that damaged my cabinets that MAC refuses to repair. These people appear to be basically idiots. They first told me they didn't service my area (Oxnard in Ventura County). Then when I pointed out that their website said they specifically service Ventura County, they mumbled and couldn't put me in touch with anyone. I asked them how many people work there. I chose My Appliances Clinic thru Lowers extended warranty and they did not disappoint us. My dryer completely shut down and didn't turn back on and the technician was quick to disassemble and point out the issue. It took a week to get the part and for him to come back but since we are a couple without kids we didn't need to do a load. When he came back his work was smooth he knew everything he had to and was done in less than an hour. read more

They were the 3rd party service company for Lowes they came out to service the dryer. The reason was it would not turn on. They came out 3 times and didn't get the machine to turn on until the last visit. The technicians were incompetent and damaged the dryer. I had to get a replacement dryer from Lowes. They bypassed the wiring replacing a part that caused the machine to burn up and fail. The technicians from the manufacturer (LG) said they would not service the machine due to the tampering. They created a dangerous situation. I would not use them under any circumstances. read more

Simple repair, done quickly and within the appointment window. Zline contracted MAC to diagnose & repair an oven ignition issue. Dispatch changed the original appointment date, but offered 2 alternative options when they called. The tech, Matt, came within the 8a-12p window and dispatch called 10 minutes ahead to let me know. As he had the spare part on the truck, Matt was able to fix the oven on the spot. Attitude was professional and work was quick. read more

I recently purchased and had installed a new Zephyr range hood rated for 1,200 CFM. At its highest speed setting, it is delivering less than 25 CFM--a fraction of its advertised performance. My licensed installer thoroughly inspected the ductwork and confirmed it was completely clear of obstructions. Using a professional anemometer, he measured airflow at both the intake and exhaust vents and recorded under 25 CFM at maximum speed. Based on these results, the unit was deemed defective, and the issue was submitted to Zephyr under warranty. Zephyr assigned the claim to My Appliance Clinic in Pasadena to verify the problem and perform corrective action. A service technician from the company arrived, turned the hood on, and simply waved his hand under the intake grille. That was the extent of the "inspection." My Appliance Clinic then reported back to Zephyr that the range hood was "operating normally" and that no repairs or replacement were needed. When I called My Appliance Clinic to ask how waving a hand under the vent could possibly evaluate performance on a 1,200 CFM unit, the receptionist was rude and dismissive. She stated their determination was final and told me to take it up with Zephyr if I disagreed. What makes this even more concerning is that all calls to My Appliance Clinic are routed to a service call center in the Philippines. So much for local presence and supporting local labor. Stay away from My Appliance Clinic, and shame on Zephyr for contracting with this service company. read more

I am shocked that this place is still in business. We have been trying to get our brand new (4 months old) Frigidaire refrigerator working, since January. We have had repair people out here three times, and each time it "temporarily" works. It has cost us hundreds of dollars in groceries, and continues to cost more money each time it is "temporary" fixed. The company puts no priority in this ongoing situation!! They schedule the next available technician for DAYS from our call reporting a warm refrigerator or melting freezer items. I will write more details when I have time.
