My stove is about 12 years old and still works like a champ. The oven in the stove was not doing so well. It took forever to heat up, it delivered uneven heat and made using it a hassle. My last review was 5 months ago. I don't write reviews all that often. I liked the competence of these guys. They know their stuff. These guys are very responsive. My wife called them in the morning and they were out a few hours later. They texted prior to arriving. Our KitchenAid electric oven stopped working after we ran the clean cycle on it. I am typically a DIY type of guy. I didn't feel like looking at hours of YouTube trying to figure this one out. Maybe next time. The tech came in, masked and gloved and got right to it. He had the replacement part (thermal fuse?) on hand and 45 minutes (and $349) or so later we had our stove back in operation. I called late in the afternoon with a urgent issue. A bottle had slipped off the counter behind the fridge and it was impossible for me to reach it or move the fridge. Made an appointment with Billy at 8:55am and my 13 year old dryer was working by 11:40am. Initially, when Trevor started his diagnosis, the dryer was miraculously working. (Similar to taking a car to the mechanic for making knocks and ping noises, but no knocks and pings when the mechanic looks at it.) So he asked questions like a detective and went outside to check exhaust area. Told him it wasn't working and had the wet/damp clothes to prove it. When my dryer started smelling like smoke, I had an HVAC (Dr Dryer Duct--also great!) come empty the duct. He also recommended I have an appliance repair person make sure no lint got past the lint trap into the machine--a big fire hazard. I requested quotes from several east LA/SGV services and found Billy to be the easiest to communicate with, the most organized about scheduling, and the most straightforward about price.
