Shawn at Best Auto is impeccable! I run a small overnight delivery business in far northern California. My business continues to grow at a rapid pace due to the global pandemic. Recently I doubled my workforce and was in need of solid, well priced vehicles in a short amount of time. The area in which I live has a limited selection of quality affordable vehicles. I exhausted my efforts purchasing vehicles locally. I was forced to search for vehicles outside of Humboldt county. Many fruitless searches finally led me to "Go Best Auto" sales in southern California. The vehicles looked to be in good shape according to the online photos and the prices were reasonable. Car prices were also in line with Kelly blue book, as well as other online resources (car gurus, Edmunds, etc.). I was skeptical due to many years of owning my delivery business and purchasing dozens of delivery vehicles over the past 17 years. I researched and compared similar vehicles in multiple cities and dealerships. It became very clear in a short amount of time that Shawn had the best selection, price, and professionalism available to my business. We spoke over the phone and he answered all of my questions, (which I had many), honestly and adeptly. I wasn't sure if I could afford all of the vehicles outright and he provided me with contact info for Jamie (@Cambridge capital), their in house financing. They too were patient and forthright with my needs. I explained to Shawn the need to expedite the vehicle sales (due to my rapid expansion), as well as the necessity of transport to my area in northern California. He worked with me to keep costs low as well as having my vans shipped to me in a very short period of time after the purchase of vehicles. Shawn was especially honest about the timeframe in which he could reasonably ship the vans to my business in Humboldt. He didn't want to promise something that he couldn't deliver on. It turns out that he found a reputable truck transporter in record time and had my vans delivered to me the next day (which just so happened to be a couple of days before I absolutely needed them). The Van's I bought were low miles, fleet maintained, government owned, and lacking in defects. The 2005 E350 Ford arrived with brand new tires and the 2006 Chevy Express 2500 had various aftermarket extras. Both vehicles were immaculately detailed and in perfect working order. So far so good mechanically, and I have been using them excessively during the holiday peak season rush. I will more than likely be expanding in the future and Shawn at Best Auto sales will be the person I call to purchase vehicles from. I walked in to the office that the guy was rude and pointed to some guy walking down the street and said he could help us. This other guy walked us to a lot with trucks and then got on his phone. I couldn't find him to ask questions and when I finally did he said the truck I was interested in wasn't available because they hadn't cleaned it yet. i bought a 2005 cargo van. my bad for not checking it out with a mechanic but owner claimed another person wanted to buy it. tires were used and different tire treads and brands. paint was peeling so they sprayed white paint over peeling It has been about 3 years and i have spent over 5 thousand dollars on this piece of junk. i cannot sell it and i have a loan. they but these vans and trucks in bulk and their two dollar mechanic keeps them running they do not check anything i am too deep in this van and i just have to eat the costs. my mechanic says i need another 1500 to fix the motor mounts and rods D your research1 read more

We contacted Shawn at best Auto Sales regarding 2 different Ford Ranger trucks he had on his lot. We told him we were driving from San Diego. He assured us everything on the trucks was in excellent condition. That was NOT the case. The first truck had bad air conditioning and bad pulleys, you could see where Best Auto Sales had done a hack paint job on the truck in spots trying to cover rust and damage. We took the other truck on a test drive, only to realize the truck has a BAD transmission and would not shift out of 2nd gear. Something they tried to hide. After letting Shawn know about the transmission he told us we didn't know what we are talking about. He still has the truck online for sale and will sell it to some other unsuspecting buyer that will get a BAD deal and a broken truck. BUYER BEWARE, Do NOT go to Best Auto Sales in Corona, CA. I was looking for a Van and saw a 2002 Dodge Ram B1500 Shorty with low 51,000 miles and the price was very reasonable, I was immediately interested. Called and spoke with Shawn. Bought a used/older Chevy S10 at a reasonable price. Hard to find used small pickups these days so ended up driving from the beach to get it. Shawn was extremely accommodating and took care of everything no problem. Discovered it had an oil leak within 2 weeks that my mechanic wanted $900 to fix. I recently purchased a 15 passenger van from Shawn at Best Auto Sales and couldn't be happier. First of all I was looking to find something I could buy out right for less than 10k and also have low mileage which Shawn had several options of. I ended up with a 99 GMC Savana super clean 15 pass van with only 38,000 miles that was a government owned and operated vehicle from the Modesto county area. Shawn allowed me to take it to a mechanic to get it checked out before, he was patient with all of my questions and upfront about everything and shared all the reports on the vehicle as well. Aside from Shawn being very courteous and patient with the sale, as I left once and came back to get it later, he also has been available to me to answer any questions regarding the state of the van and has helped in any way possible as he knows so much about these vans. For example after I took the van out for a tour with my band the catylic converter was in need of a replacement. I didn't know what was wrong at the time so I called Shawn when we got home and he had me take it to his mechanic where the issue was diagnosed in a matter of a few hours. Shawn covered the cost for the converter to be replaced which he certainly didn't need to do but was extremely nice and generous to do that especially as I kind of tapped out my bank account after the purchase haha.
