The lessons are catered to what you as the student wants to do and learn. It's also nice it's a collaborative effort between me and Keeton. He can play multiple instruments, and is a very outgoing, likable person. He also has interesting tid bits about music (theory) which I didn't know I was even doing. He makes it easy to put yourself out there trying to make music (which is obviously very personal and intimidating). I highly recommend and can't be more happy with this experience. I had broken my A string and didn't have a replacement, and I wouldn't even have been able to figure out how to install it if I had one, and I had two performances the next day. Sam was working after hours at his shop and very kindly told me to come on by. As well as replacing my string in mere minutes, Sam has helped me with providing a rental instrument for me, and then by helping me select a cello and bow for purchase. We are very fortunate to have a luthier of Sam's caliber in Katy and the entire Houston area.
