It took three years of living in the Harrisonville area to try Best Burrito. My mistake. This place is good! I personally prefer a thinner chip but the homemade salsa makes up for the thicker chips. The menu has excellent variety. Being a seafood guy, I really enjoy the Arroz con Camarones. You get eight or nine large shrimp in a sautéed backdrop of onions, mushrooms and black olives, combined in a spicy sauce and served over rice. Very tasty. The service is prompt and friendly. I happened to stop by Best Burrito on the way home from Springfield work trip. What a nice surprise. I had the super burrito with beef and it was wonderful. The side of rice and beans were very good also. Chips and salsa were delicious. The staff was friendly and very nice and clean restaurant. The only reason I would not give it a five star was due to the 2 flies that wouldn't leave my table alone. I"m sure it was just a fluke. I'll be back again for sure. read more

Yesterday I went into this restaurant to eat. I first met the hostess and requested to sit on the eastside by the windows of the restaurant. Instead the hostess seats me on the other side of the restaurant so I got up and moved to the other side of the restaurant. Upon bringing some chips/salsa which the chips were cold I asked my waitress for some warm chips. Then I ordered a frozen margarita. Upon receiving my margarita it was NOT even close to being frozen. I asked my waitress for a frozen margarita which was what I ordered the first time. So when my waitress came over to my table another guy comes over and starts giving me a hard time about my chips. I tell him they were COLD and would like some at least WARM chips. He just keeps running his mouth about the chips and is like "Whats the problem" the chips first of all and the margarita isnt frozen. Then my waitress walks off and doesnt even ask me what I would like to order to eat. So I sit there for about 5 more minutes and call over my waitress so I can place my order for food. She takes my order finally and eventually I get my food. I eat my food and after awhile am ready to check out. My wonderful waitress I had to ask her to bring my ticket. When she finally brings me my ticket I look at it and its more than what I ordered which was a burrito. I ask her about it and she says well you ordered a grilled chicken burrito. Im like well yeah it says $11.25 on the menu. And my ticket was almost $15. She tells me there was an up charge for the meat. I says well it says choose any meat on the menu. She walks off and I ask another server the same server who gave me a hard time earlier. And his response isnt much better but with DISRESPECT and RUDENESS. He also threatens to call the cops on me too. By now I am so appalled and upset I get up and walk to the front of the restaurant. He quickly comes to the front of the restaurant by me. I look at him and give him some money to cover my ticket. He gives me back half of the amount I gave him. I leave right away after that nothing else said. Our family just can't eat mexican anywhere else now. This is the best authentic Mexican food I have ever been to so far. My husband and son love the burritos, my daughter's favorite is the nachos and flautas. My favorite is the CANCUN PLATTER! A must try if you like seafood! Salsa is perfect! Chips are always fresh and hot! I have a weakness for their fresh guacamole. Stopped in with a large group of people for work. Most of us had not eaten here. I decided to go against the norm and ordered their meatball soup. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It was a large bowl made soup. The meatballs were incredibly tender. There were large slices of vegetables. And there was a very mild hint of cayenne. Just enough to give it a pleasant kick. Best Burrito is generally packed because the food is so good. Even if you have to wait it is generally less than 10 min. The best thing on the menu is not surprisingly the burrito. Any menu item you can select what type of meat you want (shredder beef or chicken, ground beef, pork) for no extra charge. Our family eats here about twice a week. read more

Feeling like something spicy I suggested the Best Burrito restaurant we drove by earlier in the day. First I checked the yelp reviews, they were pretty good so we took a chance. Thx Yelp! They were busy, but we didn't have to wait to be seated. Chips and salsa were put on the table before the waiter came and took our drink order. I normally like thin crispy chips and these looked to be pretty thick but were still very tasty and not at all hard like a thick chip usually is. The salsa was also very good and flavorful. Drinks were quickly brought back to us then he gave us a few more minutes to look over the menu since we'd never been there before. I ordered the pork chimichanga entrée and my sister ordered the cheese enchilada entrée with a side of guacamole. Both came with beans and rice. Everything was really tasty. There was a hint of what I believed to be nutmeg in the first couple bites I took, but it wasn't over powering by any means and after eating my whole lunch I had completely forgot about the nutmeg flavor. But maybe that's what authentic Mexican has in it. No complaints about any of the food or the service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who likes Mexican food, and I will probably eat there when I'm in Harrisonville again read more

My family went to go eat at the Best Burrito and we were disappointed. We are from the Houston area ( Texas) and know what authentic Mexican food tastes like. The only thing that was refreshing was the ice tea. The chicken and beef fajitas was the worst we have ever eaten. Even putting extra salsa and cheese didn't help cover the weird taste in the meat and veggies. The chips were OK, but I give the salsa a 1 star. This is the 2nd Mexican restaurant we have tried in MO and have been disappointed both times. I'm sorry MO, but the Mexican restaurants are cheating you of true authentic flavor!
