It's nice having a Best Buy close in Southwest however I find often that I am only window shopping at the store because the prices are so high compared to their competitors. There are open box clearance located in the laptop section which you can check on the website as well. If you don't mind open box items then There may be a good deal for items that normally are not discounted such as Apple laptops or watches. Overall, I find that the customer service is good. There's always individuals on the floor asking you if you need help. The only reason for the three star is that the prices are not competitive and often I will only window shop here and then make my purchase elsewhere. read more

Went to buy a laptop and ordered while there at the store. Durning the check out process. We changed our address on the account. He says oh wow you guys moved up here recently? Then proceeded to ship my laptop to a the old address which is 15 hours away. I came to this Best Buy a while back for two things: 1) I had my old desktop computer in my house just gathering dust in my closet and I needed to get rid of it. 2) Every so often, I get the desire to install some security cameras outside my house. See there seems to be a prankster in my neighborhood, who every so often knocks on the door of my house... sometimes even at night. When I look outside, nothing. So I came and got the first part solved. Best Buy's recycle computers. Took a while to wait for someone to even help me with that, even though I was the only person in the store. Once the Geek Squad guy took it, I went off towards the security section. I did notice this Best Buy has to be the smallest I have ever been in, not a lot of variety or inventory like I am used to. I have had a horrible experience with an 85 inch Samsung QLED TV that I bought a warranty on that I was told if anything major happened I would have replaced, they have been out here three times and I'm still having problems with my TV I have talked to corporate and I have talked to a local lady who says she's in charge of geek squad and they refused to back up what the sales person said to me and insist that they have to have the same problem happen three times for me to get a replacement on my TV. I don't need free stuff but it is the principle of the thing, that I now have a lemon TV that I have to put up with this until I probably ultimately end up having to buy another one which will be from anywhere other than Best Buy read more

I signed up for the Tech Support Service and had Best Buy come out and do a survey for what we needed to improve our internet as well as connect some outdoor security cameras. They came out and installed everything in a few hours. They took the time to make sure I knew how to use all the apps and had everything reconnected to my internet. They even called the next day to make sure everything was working properly and that we were happy with the products they installed. Having people in home doing work during Covid is a little concerning but they were masked, gloved, and had their feet covers on the entire time. Awesome service! read more

I had $5k worth of merchandise in my shopping cart, heaping over the sides, heading to the check-out with the wonderful salesman following me to make sure I wasn't crushed by the unpaid merchandise. I cannot say enough how patient and helpful this gentleman was. As we passed some computer monitors, I realized I should replace mine. I told him Walmart has the EXACT same monitor for $35 cheaper and asked if he would price-match that. If he would, just throw it on top of the mountain of stuff I had. He said he had to ask. Long story short, a Customer Service MANAGER came over and this was our conversation: CSM: "No, will not price match Walmart" Me: "May I ask why? It's the exact same monitor..same model, etc.?" CSM: "Certain clientele buy their electronics from...pfft...Walmart. If you would like THAT monitor at THAT price, Walmart is just down the way" Flabbergasted and my blood pressure slowly on the rise, I calmly said, "I have $5k worth of stuff in my cart. Are you telling me you do not want my help clearing your inventory?". CSM: "Sir...I don't need your "business" to clear my shelves." And with that, I calmly looked at this poor salesman who spent a good hour helping me out....I shrugged my shoulders at him, he shrugged his shoulders back, I pushed my cart to the side and walked out....and have never stepped foot inside another BestBuy again. read more

Bought a computer and here I am 24 hours later still not able to use it. Went home to find out it was not usable because it was a floor model and nobody bothered to reset it after I bought it. So after calling a store I had to bring it back in. Nobody even apologized for this issue and wasting my time. So after I took it back to the store and after waiting 6 hours I went back to pick it up I had to wait 40 minutes just to have someone grab a computer from the shelf and give it back to me. I can't remember his name but he took the time to explain in great detail each laptop he showed me. It was nice having someone help me pick out what I needed since I was going to use the laptop for school. We normally go to Best Buy for our electronics. And in the past, we always had good service. Last week, we went in to start looking at laptops for our home. We weren't 100% sure what we wanted, but an employee asked if we needed help, so we said yes. After going back and forth a bit, trying to figure it out, Chris V (didn't catch his last name) clearly was done "helping" us. He became very condescending and rude. He made the comment to me that "well, if you're only on Facebook....." - like I wasn't capable of anything more than Facebook. I let that slide, until he said, again, after we were going back and forth on our options "So, what can I help you with?" I was done at that point, and walked away. Super helpful, didn't try to get me to buy stuff I didn't want, enjoyable conversations and made getting my Verizon upgrade really easy. Let me try a bunch of new cases on it before I decided. Just an overall super helpful experience. The guy who was a Samsung rep helped me decide if I wanted an s7 or an s7 edge and didn't try to get me to buy the edge which is $100 more. Really knowledgeable about all the specs too. Don't know his name but he was a darker skinned guy who said he had a degree in IT. Took my wife's iPad in on a service contract to the geek squad. The first question Landon asked me was Do i have an appointment? I said do I need one and he said well we have one at 2 pm and it was 12:45. I said are you able to help me and he said that agents are available. He was at the counter doing nothing?
