This review is for Geek Squad at Best Buy. We arranged for Geek Squad to come to the home on a Saturday & hook up our new printer. We received notification the Friday before for a time window of arrival. This service was $99 & was well worth it! The technician, Marco arrived right on time. He put on booties over his shoes which I appreciated. He was friendly, personable & professional. Marco set up to WIFI all of our devices (cell phones, IPads & Laptop) & made sure they all printed. He explained everything he was doing as he went along - even provided helpful pointers...very knowledgeable. Done in 30 minutes & if we have any problems within the next 60 days he would come back & fix it. We were very impressed with Geek Squad, especially Marco & will definitely use them again! read more

I wanted to buy a screen protector from Best Buy. That screen protector was $53 dollars or so, mind you, I'm a student, that's already expensive enough. I pay the price anyway because I wanted the screen protector for my classes, it was a paper-like screen protector, and I needed it now. I thought it would have been cheaper, but no...anyway, I pay for it, asking for someone who can apply it for me. I ask if I have to pay for the application, and the guy ringing me up says I do. I say never mind and walk out of the store with my screen protector. I later changed my mind and want to have a "professional" apply it for me, I didn't mind paying the $14 dollars, but making me pay $53, okay bro... I asked for someone to apply it for me, and this long-haired guy with a septum piercing said he would try to install it on my iPad. I asked if he would clean my iPad. I already cleaned it, but I wanted it shiny, he says okay I can do that for you. spoiler alert, my iPad comes out dirty...very dirty. What do you mean by try? They made me miss two of my buses...I know that wasn't their fault, but the service there was horrible. I waited an HOUR or two for an installation on my generation 10 iPad. How hard can it be?!? Like genulely. The long-haired guy says he'll try to find someone who can install it for me...so you're telling me that no one in this Best Buy store knows how to install an iPad screen protector, okayyy I got you also making me pay $53 dollars...okayyy. The store later on shuts down due to unknown causes to the customers. Mind you, my iPad was still in the back with the long-haired guy. Since everyone had to evacuate the store, I almost missed my third bus. He gives it back to me. My iPad came back to me very dirty, with an insane amount of bubbles in it, and fingerprints on the screen protector. The long-haired guy said he would refund me by $14 dollars, but who wants $14 dollars refunded when I want my $53? They made me pay $67 dollars in total (I know hehe haha, but focus). They refunded me my $14 dollars, but I want my $53 dollars back. This experience was a waste of my time, it was a waste of my money, and the service there was horrible. No one did anything to solve the issue. They played in my face. Moral of the story, they will play in your face as they did mine, they will also make you pay a crazy amount for little things, such as a screen protector, even if you are a student and everyone in there has horrible customer service, having people wait for hours for such simple questions. Walked into the store no one greeted me. Walked around the store for 10 minutes trying to find the camera I wanted no store associates walked up to me asking if I needed any help. I was obviously wandering and looking down aisles trying to find something and couldn't find it. When I walked out because of frustration and just pure lack of customer service the guy at the front (different from the guy that was standing there when I walked in) instead of asking if I found everything okay, he just said have a nice day. Which was weird and funny seeing as I walked into a Best Buy and left empty handed. Terrible experience. Weekend before Thanksgiving and we bought a TV for curbside from another location...5 hours later still not notified for pickup. Moved the order to.this store and 58 mins later we were notified it was ready. Curbside is better then most stores in general I've used it at other big box stores. No power cord for dryer after waiting 9 days, seriously they could of stop by Home Depot and then 3 days of concern of esculationion no response. We came by on Black Friday for at 65" TV and we were told that it's only on sale Saturday and that we can go online and order it and then pick it up tomorrow morning. So when we got home we tried to order it. It wasn't available yet so we waited and tried again just before midnight and still unavailable and nothin within 200 miles. Just after midnight we tired again and it said sold out. We just went back to the store and all they would say is - that's just how it is on Black Friday.- The lady was of no help at all. If I could give negative stars I would. Wife ordered an open box computer to be shipped to our home. Waited just over a week, even gave it 3 extra days in case shipper or carrier had problems. Upon checking the tracking number find out UPS (supposedly) delivered a day early, and to make it worse supposedly there's another woman in our home signing for things! (where no one knows). Call Best Buy and am told "there isn't anymore of that model available to ship". And there's no comparable replacement. How is it that I can see, and re-order the same thing, and a comparable replacement new and open boxed, and receive them within a matter of days (2to be exact, and only if I want to pay the $2800 price tag again)! Worst Best Buy I've ever been to. The people who work in the laptops and desktops section are idiots who can barely read let alone operate telephones or not lose their damn keys. Waited over 30 mins just to find out if they had a certain laptop in stock at a different Best Buy. Had to get 3 people to help and none of them could figure out how to call the other store. We legitimately walked out of the store saying we will just go there I guess and they still were on hold on the phone like they didn't just see us walk out on them. Not as busy as compared to the one located at Colorado Blvd. I believe the collection of items here is smaller. The staffs are friendly and are eager to assists us when we need them. Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I brought my laptop in due to the screen not turning on. When I arrived I was immediately greeted at the door and explained my issue the associate who immediately notified the geek squad tech to see if they could speak with and notified me to set up an appointment, but the tech Shelly dropped everything she was doing to service me. She very politely looked at my laptop and was able to get the screen to work. She took the time to look it over and get a diagnosis. She even put a ticket in to have this issue resolved, she sent me on my way making me feel much better and even chased me down in the parking lot to make sure I had my invoice for the service. I had ordered some merchandise from Mississippi and 225 .. They didn't have have all of the merchandise that I needed.. I ended up going to this location of I 70 and salida ct to pick up what I needed. My order was not ready, not only that but I was turned away by Tylinn! I went out in the aisle and picked up what I needed and tried to ring out again and then she told me I have to pay for it when I'm literally made a store to store order! As they tried to resolve the problem I spoke with a male co worker and he said that they're trying to fix and resolve the problem.. I asked to see a manager after Tylinn told me that I was unprofessional after I had clearly stated that she didnt know what she was doing after turning me away so rudely. All I did was try to go in get the things I ordered and come back out when they didn't have it ready. I went into the aisle and picked it out myself. This is for Best Buy Total Tech Support, not the store, new support plan that cost 200$ a yr vs old program that costs 99$ a yr. BB changed since Covid. You used to call & they would remote in & help you out w your puter/printer or a tech came to the house for 49$ a shot and he could see it all & work magic. On the phone, you ALWAYS got a person who spoke English well. Now, super hard to get a human on the phone...sometimes well over an hour to get thru the bs, dropped calls, bad phone connections in foreign countries. Try like heck to explain your problem, not a puter wiz, may not know exactly how to explain it. Back in better days, the ENGLISH speaking person was good, knew what to ask. Now, get chop chop reception phone guys who don't understand syntax, American way of speaking. Put in perspective, would be like me learning basic Tagalog, then let loose on the phones. Your mama is trying like heck to explain things to me & I don't understand her,she is not getting the help she wants because my basic Tagalog does not work w a native speaker. The absolute WORST customer service experience ever. They took an online order and didn't have the item in stock...understandable to an extent as I realize the logistical issues involved. My issue is with the manager Melvin. Not only does he begin by cutting me off at every opportunity, he has the balls to tel me that all they can do is issue me a refund that I'll get AFTER Christmas. If I could give a 0 rating, I would. I never received my $4,000 TV from the Aurora, CO Warehouse. I tried calling the infamous Best Buy customer service number, and was bounced around several times and eventually hung up on. No one had a solution to offer. Several case numbers were opened in my account, and yet, every time I called back, no one seemed to have any idea what I was talking about. Now, Best Buy is holding close to $4,000 hostage, and I have no TV. It's criminal, really and demonstrates a flagrant disregard for customer service, care, or attention. The credit company CitiBank and the help at Best Buy are at least incompetent and likely thieves. I recently cancelled an automatic protection plan, because I no longer had the device being protected. I put the reason why I was cancelling in the subject line. I tried calling the department responsible and was hung up on 4 times. When CitiBank called for late payment I went through the entire situation. They were able to get the department on the phone with me, apologized for the inconvenience and said that they would resolve the issue. At this time the matter seemed solved, but 1 month later I received another call with the same issue. Again i explained the situation and again went through the step of rectifying the issue. A month later and they call again saying they had no record of the previous 2 attempts. I paid the fee and the FALSE late charges, and cancelled my account. A moth later and I get a written billing statement with a statement that they could no longer contact me by phone. Additionally they sent me a letter downgrading my spending limit for an account that no longer exists. read more

This is the nearest Best Buy and it's pretty awesome. Whenever I've entered the store everyone has been willing to help. And when I purchase electronics I like to take a whiiiiiile to compare and inform myself of what I am purchasing. So they kept checking up on me every 25 mins. Another day I was looking for a specific movie the website said they had in stock but I couldn't locate it on the floor. They searched the stock room for it, took about 20min if waiting, but they found it. I was so pleased. Today, in the midst of this pandemic, the store has adapted to drive thru service and are delivering your online orders to your car, as well as, a park and order, spot where you tell them what you were looking for, and they take your id your card, go in charge you, and bring out your purchase. Seems like all Geek Squads are intensionally understaffed, slow and grossly overpriced for the service you are getting. Making huge profits from techo-illiterate customers is the way for them. I am also disappointed that they are not well supported by Best Buy, as there seems to be a ton of idle Best Buy employees and none of them are able or willing to help the Geek Squad for simple things like ringing up purchases, getting laptops from the back or answering phones. I went to the Best Buy at Tower and I-70, which was referred to me by a Geek Squad staff at Mexico Ave., because they were too swamped with other customers, and said that they are not very busy there. So I drove more than 30 minutes to the Geek Squad on Tower Road & I-70 and it was definitely quiet there so I thought it would a good place to get my laptop fixed quickly. I was promised by a Geek Squad staff that they will run the diagnostics right away and should be done the following day. The next day I called them to see if the diagnostics were done. There was only one person working there and my call was returned in about an hour. That person told me that the work hasn't started yet because they only have one power cord which was being used on another repair job!!! WTF!!! I was very mad because they never called me about that issue, I lost a day and a half without my laptop which I use for work, and of all places you would expect they would have multiple power cords and it is located in a damn big box electronics store -- it's like Home Depot closing down because they ran out of nails! So I made the long drive again to drop off my power cord. When I was there there was a long line of disgruntled customers. I waited for more than half an hour to talk to a person there. While waiting I was talking to the other customers who were also pissed off at the slow and incompetitent service. When I finally talked a Geek there they say they can't guarantee that they will run the diagnostics right away and also can't guarantee that they could get it done end of the day or first thing in the morning. I can't afford to be without my computer for another two days and having to drive across town multiple times to deal with their incompetance, so I demanded a refund and get my laptop back -- which took an additional 20 minutes for that one Geek to get my laptop from the back and to get one of the many idle Best Buy staff to ring up my refund. The one Geek Squad person there seemed lost, uncoordinated, and just plain slow and stupid, when trying to deal with multiple customers. I eventually did the diagnostics myself with the help of a computer whiz friend of mine. I saved $70 and did it much faster and with a reliable trusted outcome. That is what computer geek friends are for! If you don't know any computer whizes, there are tons of freelance computer technicians out there who can go to your house and fix it in no time -- in these economic times, these technicians charges a freaction what Geek Squad charges and they do it in the comfort and security of your own home. read more

There's constantly a revolving door of employees here, it seems like the nice ones always move on to greener pastures. This place feels like you're going to a supermarket, you better know what you're getting because there's not a lot of help or product knowledge by the ones I've encountered. Attempted to price match a product, but received the run-around, but went to another Best Buy and felt welcomed for the same product! Wanted to buy some movies to cure a weeknight boredom, however, the selection here is very slim, there is not as much movies as other Best Buy locations. Today was a simple visit, purchased Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One, witnessed an irate customer storming out the door saying "You guys don't want to sell me anything here!!" Ruined packaging, asked for return policy in regards to the item if we bought the packaging already in such a state. Manager came to the front and said "it totally works don't worry". When it didn't, we took it back. Asked for advice on how to connect an older TV, employee in the computer section looked shocked and dumbfounded by every question we asked, said "I'm not sure" and then just walked away. Nice. This place is incredibly bad. Went there a year to go to try to have a car stereo installed. There was something wrong with their system so they couldn't make an appointment for us to get it installed. Returned today a year later to try to do it again and they had the exact same problem. I'm pretty sure that this place is just a front for something else. They have no intention on selling anyone any sort of merchandise, and there are a shit load of employees there so it's really funny to me. Overall the employees were pretty nice but I think they were stoned or something, and I'm not saying that's bad. I would also be stoned if I worked at a fake Best Buy. We bought cameras here before, my boyfriend had purchased a $33 phone case with a wooden back that is supposed to be hard as... Wood. The parking lot used to have car meets in on Sunday's as well as having two sales associates whom I considered friends. Ok, so the store was clean, and also employees friendly and helpful. My problem lies with whomever orders the toilet paper. Have you stopped and used your facilities? Paper so thin you can read the tiniest of fine print right through it. And heaven forbid you don't use a big enough wad of it and you accidentally poke a finger through it, gross. I had purchased 2 screen protector for iPad and was told could be replaced in store under the lifetime warranty and that they was registered with Zagg at time of purchased. When I needed replacement and went into the store, was told that was incorrect and the sale rep had a no caring attitude.
