I had purchased 2 screen protector for iPad and was told could be replaced in store under the lifetime warranty and that they was registered with Zagg at time of purchased. When I needed replacement and went into the store, was told that was incorrect and the sale rep had a no caring attitude. I had a $20 "Reward Certificate" to use. They said it expired yesterday, but clearly on my certificate, it did not. They wouldn't accept it. Had Viper remote start installed in my Infiniti QX56 yesterday. After installation passenger door lock does not work. Tech said it wasn't working when I dropped it off. I know that it was working. Best Buy management looking for resolution. On a previous occasion my daughter had a Viper remote start installed by Best Buy. After installation her power seats did not work. Best Buy did nothing to help her but only offered excuses. On another previous occasion at this same store I had a Viper remote start installed on a Honda Crosstour. Because the battery was disconnected I was chasing Honda codes for not only my radio but for my navigation as well. I know this is typical for Honda's but it would have been nice to have a heads up on that occasion. I guess color me stupid for continuing to go back to this Best Buy for Viper installs we will see if they can correct the current situation. read more

Although I'd done it before on more complicated computers, given that I work in information technology, I didn't feel up to doing this myself. So I called the Geek Squad located here and asked them if they could replace the USB port on my desktop computer because the plastic tab between the fork was broken. Anyone who has worked witrh computers or any electronics knows that this is a very simple soldering job that any first year apprentice can accomplish in one hour. The representative said that replacing a usb port is absolutely impossible and that I just just buy and entirely new case. It seems that, instead of actually making an attempt to repair the items their customers bring in, they prefer to just have you buy a new one through them at exorbitant prices. I would reccomend techno rescue in the same area code, who gave me a verycheap quote of $45 dollars to repair TWO ports that were suffering from my issue. read more

The two "geeks" at this store are really one geek and a guy who just makes stuff up pretending to be a geek. I took my laptop in to get a key repaired on the keyboard. Without looking at it, the "real" geek said it would have to be shipped out and that the keyboard would have to be replaced entirely. Then I was asked by the "pretend" geek if any of the information on my laptop was important to me. How about ALL of the information is important to me? I was advised that there's a chance that some information would be "lost" while the keyboard was being repaired because the motherboard would need to be removed. After a shoddy and weak explanation about how the motherboard/hard drive would be that dramatically affected by a keyboard replacement, Pretend Geek looked over at Real Geek for support. I received a weak answer from Real Geek, who finally said this was their way of covering themselves in case anything went wrong. Then Real Geek suggested that I back up my data from the laptop unless I wanted to pay them $85 to do the back up. It was at this point when I told them to forget it. I seriously think they capitalize on the fact that people rely on their computers and will pay virtually anything to get them operational again. I don't trust Geek Squad and don't recommend them for any computer- or electronics-related repairs. They appear to be overpriced, inexperienced and generally inept. As the other reviewer indicated, there must be local people who are able and willing to handle repairs for much less. read more

I had a picture perfect install of a Kenwood navigation double din as well as a viper remote start/keyless alarm! I drove from Littleton for the install. I purchased everything from Amazon even all the accessories. I was hesitant of letting Best Buy do the install on my recently purchased explorer. My hesitant decision was quickly erased when the installer "Dihn" met me by the car audio install area. He was very professional and out going. He made me feel like my install wasn't "just another install" to him as he asked questions about the placement of certain items on my suv. I dropped it off at 10am on a Sunday. I set up an online appointment for a Sunday. The website told me it was going to take 8 hours. He was finished in 5 1/2 hours. He went out of his way to show me step by step how to use the navigation system as well as the remote for the remote start and alarm. He was friendly and easy to talk to. He made the $450.00 transaction painless as he fostered my confidence when I left Best Buy. I will be going back to see him for future installs in my vehicle. read more

Terrible! All we want is our new Nest doorbell that we bought from Best Buy installed and they can't manage to hold an appointment! I scheduled the appointment for a Monday and the Geek Squad rep called the Saturday before saying he was in our area and could stop by that day. We told him we weren't home and that our appointment was for Monday. He never showed up on Monday and when I called they said the appointment had been rescheduled for the previous Saturday even though they saw it was originally for Monday. They said the soonest they could reschedule for was Wednesday. Come Wednesday and no one shows up again! I called again and they said they have rescheduled for Saturday but no one called to inform us! Now they have indicated that they will be out next Saturday after I had to call them! This is all after we bought a Ring doorbell from Best Buy that was defective and took them 3 times of rescheduling their appointment the day of before they made it out. This has been the worst customer service I have ever received! read more

I bought Microsoft Office software here and crashed every time I tried to open a document. I went back and was told by an employee to bring in my computer and they would check it out at no charge. He stated that if they couldn't get it to work, they would refund the $150 I paid for the software. I brought the computer in, they couldn't figure it out and would NOT refund me as I was previously told. They wanted me to spend $200 to try other ideas to fix it or I could buy a new computer. Scam. I ended up taking my computer to Action Computers where they fixed the issue in 30 minutes for $30. read more

I looked at Home Depot, JC Penny, Lowes, and Costco and found that Best Buy had the best prices for the stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher I purchased. The staff were also informative and helpful (didn't feel pressured or rushed). read more

My favorite best buy. I hate the one on Mississippi and will go out of my way to avoid it. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Smaller store with less customers. Similar collection to mississippi store and colorado. No apple products here, but they can order for me to pick up. read more

Best buy on tower, the general manager was very rude, he took two hours to do a two minute return, he was avoiding me at all cost refusing to help me, I spent an hour on hold and hour being ignored, he needs to take his ten years and buy himself some customer service, his cocky piss poor attitude just lost my business.. I am highly disappointed in the level of customer service I have received: I purchased a new washer and dryer a week ago, because our washer went out, and had it set for delivery today. When they showed up 1/2 hour late for their appointment, the driver informed me that the side of the washing machine had a "dent" in it. When I went out to inspect it, the "dent", it was literally the entire side of the unit that was caved in.... No Dent!!! I naturally refused the delivery and was called by the Geek Squad representative. He informed me that there was nothing they could do about it and that I would have to wait 24 to 48 hours before they would be able to reschedule my delivery and that it would most likely be another week out (2 weeks without a washer). This is completely unacceptable!!! I paid for the products, waited around for a late delivery and now I have to wait again. When I called the 1-888-BESTBUY number, I was told the same thing. Where is the customer service in this. It wasn't my fault that someone mishandled the product, but now I'm the one that has to suffer. I will be canceling my BB VISA and will no longer be doing business with this company! Too bad, they used to be a good company that actually took care of the customer.
