After I waited for a week I was following up every day just to get an idea of when JR would actually be able to come out, he scheduled and then canceled last minute and then nothing. We purchased a new GE top of the line brand new dishwasher from this retailer in July, 2022. with an extended warranty for a total cost of $1624.67. Shortly thereafter, the dishwasher started leaking at the bottom of the dishwasher door, sporadically, It was explained to me that we needed to submit a claim to GE and they would send out a tech to repair it. I did exactly that. After having at leasst 6-8 GE service calls over the folllowing 12 months with no resolution of the leak, I was instrructed to call Brand Resources for any issues. It's still leaking after multiple techs from Brand Resources have attempted to fix it. The long and short of our Appliance Factory experience, needless to say, has been frustrating since the dishwasher is still leaking and the store has not offered ANY resolution! On August 22, 2024 Rudy Garcia (JR) texted that the dryer part had no tracking number nor had it been shipped. On August 28, 2024, I texted Rudy Garcia that if dryer part had not been shipped, I would like a $494.02 Zelle payment in refund of the order not received. Due to no response since August 28, 2024 until Sept 11, 2024, on Sept 11, 2024, I submitted to Rudy Garcia a Zelle payment request in the amount of $494.02. I also filed a complaint with CO Consumer Protection Department and BBB and reiterated that I am still awaiting a refund of $494.02. Both CO Consumer Protection Department and BBB unsuccessfully requested a response from Rudy Garcia. As of today December 6, 2024 I have not received a refund of the $494.02 paid. BEWARE. read more

We had an odd issue. Some wine spilled in the fridge and shorted out the little meat locker / crisper box. At the same time the door (water and ice) failed even though it didn't seem like that crisper box had anything to do with it. They estimated having to repair both boards. They found when they replaced the first one, the door started working (logically they didn't seem connected). Anyway, they called me and told me it was working and it would be half the cost of the original estimate. They did all of this very quickly and Shawn, our tech, was awesome. He quickly referred me to Justin in Sales. Justin did not have anything in stock that fit our specifications, but went above and beyond to help me search for some potential solutions and sent me some links to sites outside of those that dealt directly with him and Colorado Appliance Solutions. While we did not do business directly with them this time around, it was refreshing to see a company help us find a solution that wasn't with them. Called to have dishwasher repaired, tech showed up and asked for $99 service fee to be made out to him personally (red flag) but since the service had been great twice before I did. Based on what I had read here from reputable Yelpers I figured I had stumbled onto a place that went above and beyond for appliance service. To be honest my experience was ok, but definitely not in line with these gushing reviews. The scheduling was relatively easy and I appreciated that. Overall the assigned personnel performed the bare minimum required to inform me of my dishwasher's issue in a timely manner, but he was not volunteering any additional information or even knowledgable about his company's services. He seemed like he was in a hurry and I was cramping his style by asking questions, which I had to do a lot of in order to get information most of these other reviewers were offered up front. For a $99 service call I expected more. Don't think I'll be buying a new dishwasher from these guys. read more

These guys are amazeballs!!! I normally would never ever get this excited for an appliance related review. I usually reserve this kind of elation for dessert related events. However, I really felt like JR treated me well and fairly and it was not a stressful experience. I get stressed pretty easily over home repairs that can potentially cost mucho $$$ but he definitely made this experience with my double ovens as least heartbreaking as it could have been. Seriously, I always do comparison shopping. ALWAYS. This time, I got a really fair quote from JR here (super responsive replies, btw) AND another business competitor (who does not do double ovens) recommended this business. That spoke volumes right away. Most importantly though, my instincts told me to go with this business after speaking to JR on the phone. He didn't try to confuse me with technical knowledge or blow smoke up my bum. He was informative and upfront about his services and what he assessed was likely the issue I needed repaired. While there's no guarantee without the diagnostic visit, he turned out to be spot on, by the way, just from my description on the phone. It actually took 2 visits. JR initially referred me out to his mom's business, Appliance Man of Colorado, and Tim came out from that business. His mom is also very nice. Moreover, she wanted to schedule a few days out, if possible, because she could hear on the phone that I had flu symptoms. Why? She didn't want her employees to get sick from the visit to my home. I know some people might get cranky that their repair has to be delayed but I appreciated that she cares about her people. Have I mentioned that JR is the crown prince of CO appliances? I know monarchies have been phased out but JR deserves and OWNS this title. His family owns appliance related businesses all over CO and he is definitely the entrepreneur in the appliance royal family. I digress. Back to the review. My first visit with Tim from Appliance Man of CO was pleasant but he only fixed the top oven. It was a 2 man job due to the layout of my kitchen. After seeing pictures of my kitchen, JR's mom referred me back to JR because I have hardwood flooring and such details in the kitchen and both she and JR felt he had the expertise to handle the situation. Great people. JR, the crown prince of CO appliance, came out personally today with Levi to fix the bottom oven today! It was a delicate job but he got it done with proficiency and ease. This guy made it look easy! It's not, I am sure. He was professional and efficient. His prices are fair with customer service that it top-notch. Did I mention they swept and vacuumed after the repairs? His skills are on point. He's also easy on the eyes, if that matters at all. He's definitely not the butt crack showing appliance man of the olden times. I needed to have my front-loading whirlpool washer repaired as it was trying to "shake itself to death" during the spin cycle. My first contact with the company was with Cody who was a pleasure to deal with and made the arrangements to have someone come out to do a diagnostic. J.R. came to my home next and it didn't take him long to determine that the machine was not level, but that there was also a problem with the shocks, not surprising since it's at least 15 years old. He too was very professional and clearly very experienced. In no time he had leveled the machine which made a big difference. The parts needed to be ordered and I anticipated at least a week's wait, but was pleasantly surprised to have the repair scheduled for this morning. Michael came to repair the machine. He too was extremely professional, very good at communicating, and clearly experienced. He finished the job in no time and I'm thrilled at the results. The cost for the repair was reasonable, everyone in this company with whom I came into contact was a pleasure to work and extremely capable. Yay! Our fridge decided to make a noise best described as someone sticking a pen into one of those big floor fans. As you can imagine, this was not music to our ears. Especially on a Saturday night. After calling several places the next morning and getting no answer, I stumbled upon Colorado Appliance Solutions and am sure glad I did. JR, the owner and repairer, was full that Sunday, but made it out ASAP on Monday. He quickly diagnosed the problem and got the part ordered. The next day he returned and had the new part installed in only a few minutes. Hooray! And for a great price too, even before the Yelp discount! Then a week later our fridge felt really cold and the water line stopped working. JR quickly came out to investigate and found that the part was defective. Do not work with this company! Very responsive at first as others have shared--we were very pleased. But then we were told they didn't have the part for our fridge and we would to pay them the money for it ahead of time. We gave them $1200 and waited and waited and waited. In the meantime, our fridge kept dying and their tech, JR, kept coming out to fill our fridge with Freon. Our fridge died at least four times and we lost hundreds of dollars of food all while waiting for the part over five plus months. Something seemed fishy. My husband went online and was able to order the part even though they said they couldn't find it anywhere but by this time no response from JR or the company!! It has been over eight days still no response from the company or JR. We have no fridge and are sitting with a part he said he couldn't order, and are out $1200-looks like we will be taking them to small claims court if we can't get our money back and we will also be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

I thought Colorado Appliance Solutions was a bit pricey, as they charge hourly (at 30 minute increments) instead of charging by job type; but, they were able to fix my refrigerator, which I'm happy about. It did take them a long time to get the replacement part as well, a bit over a week. If you have Samsung appliances, not many local tech's are willing or able to work on them, so if you're in the same situation definitely give this company a try because they do a great job, just be prepared to pay a bit more and wait a bit. ...which honestly, to be fair, Samsung appliances seem more like electronics (like a TV) than an appliance, which is why many old school techs shy away from even trying to repair them - so perhaps charging a bit more is reasonable. Also, many parts have to be ordered/shipped from S. Korea, so having to wait a week or so is reasonable. read more

Their customer service team did a great job of scheduling a repair on a non-cooling refrigerator....far more responsive and accommodating than three other businesses I tried first. When our technician, JR, arrived on a Saturday at the promised time, he quickly and confidently diagnosed the problem. He explained that a part would have to be ordered, gave a time frame and made a "temporary" repair until he could return in a few days with the part. JR and the customer service team also expedited the repairs by a day as we had plans to leave on vacation! The very worst in customer service and repair. Do not use this company. They scheduled an appointment with me for this past Saturday morning to come out to repair my refrigerator. The window for arrival was between 9 am - 1 pm. THEY NEVER SHOWED!!! It was a Saturday, so there were other things I wanted to be doing... like watching my daughter's softball game. I tried calling several times, but over the weekend, no one answered and my call didn't even go to an answering service or voicemail. Finally got a call this morning asking if I still need someone to come out. When I shared that we had an appointment on Saturday, there was no apology. JR was who did the work for us on an appliance repair and seemed knowledgeable about the parts needed, recommended repair, and he did the actual repair work itself. My frustration is customer service is nearly non-existent. I simply want an invoice for the work completed showing the parts inventory, warranty, and total cost that I paid. I have called at least 5 times over the past 3 weeks, no one ever answers the phone, I leave a message with my address, e-mail address and phone number asking for the invoice. No one has ever called me back, no invoice has been received in the mail or e-mail. Since I'm a handyman of sorts I was able to trouble shoot a little on my own and Rudy assisted me with that. I called and spoke to owner JR and arranged an appointment to fix my Subzero Refrigerator. Previously I had used a company called Denver Appliance Tech who ripped me off $470 so I was very skeptical this time. What's interesting is when I told JR about my issue, he counseled me over the phone on a potential fix to this problem by cleaning the coils which I thought was super cool. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem so I kept my appointment with JR. JR called me when he was on his way, gave a complete diagnostic and ended up having to replace my cooling fan for $230. When I was getting ready to pay him, he informed me about a 15% off special he was running (which I wasn't aware of) which then dropped the price down to $195 and this was after I had already agreed to pay $230. I thought that was super cool. So total was $195 and problem fixed. I also want to note that this was for my $10,000 Subzero refrigerator and I live in a very high end neighborhood. I say this because often when I hire a technician for anything, they will bump up the price after seeing where I live or the fact it's a high end appliance. Not JR. JR was professional, informative, and gave five star service. I'm keeping his card for any future appliance needs. He is the man! read more
