    Scratches caused by Geek Squad technician who never replied back.

    Their Geek squad service causes more damage than they fix things. We bought a Samsung dishwasher which started leaking a spoon or two of water every now and then. They took 4 months to resolve the problem as their vendor Tekniton could not be reached and when they scheduled appointments they failed to show up. Finally after 4 months Best Buy replaced the dishwasher instead of fixing it - what a waste for the environment! The leak caused flood damage below the dishwasher which they did not help us fix. We now have problems with the new dishwasher as the light doesn't turn on and the Geek Squad technician who came to fix the dishwasher caused large scratches on the floor right in front of the dishwasher. It's just hard to deal with a bad installation and damages caused by the Geek Squad tech along with delaying with normal day to day family life. I would recommend private repair companies around Bellevue than buying Beat Buy Total Tech program. We bought our previous dishwasher and all appliances from Lowes twelve years ago and didn't have a single problem with any of those. Update 9/3: I contacted Best Buy on Instagram and they were able to file a claim for me. It's efficient than calling them over phone.     I've been here a few times, and the service is consistently the same. Although it seems like they are fully staffed, it still takes a while to receive help, especially in the mobile section. I recommend calling the store first for any mobile needs, as their services are limited depending on the carrier.

    Upgrade made painless with help of Don. It's been 13 years since I had a new television and he made it an easy by listening and helping me make the best decisions for my budget and not trying to upsell me too much. He explained everything in terms that were relatable and I didn't feel like he was talking down to me. I am not a technical person per se, but I'm not completely unfamiliar. I understand enough terms to know what I want. He also helped me choose based on what types of shows I watch. I can't wait to get my new television delivered! Thank you Don. Happy Yelping.

    Damaged our home and very challenging to get repairs…read more The reason I went with Arnold's Appliance was to have a local trusted company ensure a seamless experience, vs the higher availability/lower cost but risk associated with a Lowes or Home Depot messing up our house. However it made no difference: - Installers cut corners trying to remove old fridge through a tight corner without disassembly - Dinged up the house, ripped a hole into a railing, 8 or so medium to large gouges in drywall, and almost shattered a wall sconce - It took over a month to get repairs done, being told 3 separate times I'd be contacted and yet still having to follow up myself numerous times to make anything happen - Contracted repair company did a decent patch job, but the repair is obvious with paint not fully covering patches or blending into the rest of the wall When you buy an appliance, the implicit contract is that your home won't be damaged, and if it is, they will make it right ($), restore it to its prior condition, and own driving that process. It's still not repaired to it's prior condition, I've had to drive the entire process myself, and I've received no compensation for the headaches.

    i went in to metropolitan appliance on memorial day weekend and had done my online research and was…read morepretty certain what i wanted in terms of a replacement slide in stove. jacob a approached me and ended up helping me. we spent over an hour talking about options and discussing standard coil vs induction/glass top. i wasn't going to go that route but jacob is very thorough and not pushy at all; multiple times he stated that his goal was for me to purchase something i felt comfortable with and would be happy to own. i appreciated that. ultimately i decided to go with a frigidaire model that was a drastic improvement on the stove/oven i've lived with for two decades. he took care of the payment paperwork, the scheduling of delivery which had to wait until now and also all the communication between us. he was also kind enough to send a follow up email alerting me to being eligible for a rebate based on the model i had chosen. today, the delivery folks showed up within the stated window and i'll just say that the tracking system clients are sent to know when to expect the delivery is magic! it helped a lot to be prepared and to have cleared the adjacent space but it left no guessing for when they would arrive. jorge and his teammate (sorry, i didn't catch his name) were professional and efficient. they knew how to handle the extrication of the old appliance, how to set up the new one and insure it was level, and they walked me through basic operating instructions. all told (and i haven't yet used the appliance) i have been very happy with the level of service and courteous communication from this business. it makes me want to provide their name to others who are in the appliance market and to use them again when i next need a replacement.

He emailed them and got told that they could either send him a new power board, or we could come drop it off at their Bellevue location since we're local. And since I'm working from home, I got the pleasure of dropping it off. There is plenty of parking. It is in a kind of office-y area where it was hard to see. I just parked and walked over to it. During Covid times, they have a table/case outside with cleaned pens and hand sanitizer for you to fill out a repair form. Someone came out of the office to meet me to get the grinder. I was a little unorganized that morning, and the guy who helped me was super kind and helpful. I forgot to ask how long it would take for the repair and called them about 30 minutes after. They answered and were SUPER nice. They told me that for walk in repairs, it would take 2-3 days with a maximum of 5 business days. But they do prioritize walk in repairs. And the crazy thing is, the repair was free. They were even willing to ship it back to us for free, but my husband would not have been happy if I didn't go pick it up the moment it was ready. They took exactly one day from drop off. They called and I went to go pick it up the next day, about the same time I dropped it off. The turn around time was insane. The same guy came out to help me. He had everything in a nice bag, all ready to go. There was an invoice as well, but all the repairs were free since we were walk in. Even in these weird quarantine times, these guys did the repairs quicker then their estimated time. It was free for walk ins. And they couldn't have been nicer.
