If you are looking for same day pickup, you should go somewhere else, even if the website shows your item, in large font, as SAME DAY PICKUP. Look farther down in tiny font where it says "Available in 3-buisiness days". I went to pick up a microwave on a Wednesday that was advertised as available for same day pickup. It's not. According to the salesman, that means it's at the warehouse, theoretically available for same day pickup, but Frederick's only goes to the warehouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and then customer pickup is the following day. OK fine, the item I wanted on Wednesday should be available for pickup on Friday. Except it wasn't. It just wasn't on the truck - no explanation, no reason why, just "well maybe we can get it next Tuesday. No thank you. I cancelled the order and purchased from Wayfair. I would love to support a local business but not when their practices are sloppy and downright deceptive. read more

During very recent challenge with the appliance warranty service, the store manager was 5 star in getting Consumer Priority Service to at least respond to my emails. CPS has been a miserable partner in supporting their warranty policy but Fredericks did everything to could to get some level of compliance. Would go back to Fredericks for all future appliance needs without hesitation and understand they are no longer affiliated with CPS. read more

Super knowledgeable sales staff! We had to replace our wall mount oven, which had been installed by someone else in a very unconventional way (and space) 13 years earlier. The sales staff recommended that they send their installer Charlie out first. He came out, recommended an oven that would work in the space and a week later installed it! In the process he cleaned up the electrical connection behind the stove to make much safer. I give my very highest recommendation to this company and their staff! read more

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The spot where the washer/dryer goes is super tight, and we needed an unusual feature where the doors open the opposite direction. Richard helped us sort out which machines would be a good fit, and then helped us out with the measurements to make sure everything would work out. It did. The delivery and installation guys were excellent. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job installing the new machines in the tight space. They also took away the old machines. I thought they did a great job respecting our home while they did this work. Fredericks did a great job and made a process I don't like (shopping in general) as painless as possible. This store is very helpful when buying a new appliance. The salesman looked up the information I gave him regarding a dryer. He was able find it on the store's website and honor the price. He then told me that I would be contacted the day before(today after 5pm when the appliance will would be delivered Friday November 1(FRIDAY). So I waited till 6pm to call the store. I called a total of 3 times(1x(was on hold 20 minutes)( 2x(on hold 5 min); 3x(20 minutes); every few minutes an automated voice comes on and says "to leave a message press 4 0). After 20 miminutes you have to leave a message or hang up. NO ONE ANSWERED. Even though the store closes at 7pm. I finally left a message around 6:45pm. So tomorrow, I have to stop what I am doing and call at 9am(store opens) to find out when the washer will be delivered. Hopefully someone answers the phone. read more

I am a repeat customer here and really like how the store for the following reasons. 1. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They take time to understand my needs and come up with a good suggestion. 2. Good price. They will just give a good price either over phone, email or text. 3. Professional installation. This is the best part. Their installation crews are one of the best. I have replaced KitchenAid drawer type dishwashers. While they surely looked cool, they were known to be unreliable. I ended up ordering a Bosch with the new CrystalDry. Since I wanted to reuse the custom panels , after discussing my option, I ended up using 1/4inch cabinet grade plywood to build a single. I literally had less than 1/8 of inch on both sides and it was perfectly aligned. Since the dishwasher with the custom panel uses a heavy duty spring, adding this 20lbs panels just made the door to function just perfectly. The result looks great and we are very satisfied with the choice. read more

I went to Fredericks today at the recommendation of LG, as it was listed as a nearby dealer for their products. I'm in the process of building a new construction home and needed 4 fridges: a full-height primary fridge for our kitchen, a full-height wine cooler, and two under-cabinet fridges for an office and espresso bar. I was also in need of a dishwasher and an outdoor grill. The store is located in a great part of town and easily accessible. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by one of the sales representatives and asked how he could help. I mentioned the new construction home and our need for a full-height primary fridge for our kitchen. Throughout the course of our short conversation, our other needs did not come up (the other 5 items we were looking for). Not knowing much about fridges, we had provided an initial size of 70" to our developer (not knowing anything else), those dimensions could have been changed to support one of the larger fridges if necessary. However, our salesperson didn't try to get to know us or our project, and he didn't inquire whether adjusting the dimensions would be possible at the stage of construction we were in. I'm not a fridge expert, that's why I'm here, to learn from one. We were willing to make adjustments if needed. I'm looking for a quality product, and being new to this, I was using LG as a starting point as we have their washing machines currently. Although, as soon as I provided our height requirements, you could see the salesperson's interest fade from his expression. He took us to the back of the store and showed us three fridges that would fit within our available space. We asked a few questions to understand the differences between the models and their features. However, the sales representative showed very little interest in us as customers and displayed hardly any knowledge or expertise in his field. We had done some research through consumer reports but were looking to get a better understanding of what was available. When we inquired about features to keep fruits and vegetables fresher longer, he said all the fridges were about the same and mentioned something about crisper drawers. Knowing that some fridges offer features like multiple compressors, linear compressors, specialty air circulation, and air filters, I was disappointed with his response. He only showed us three fridges and seemed eager to move on. When we returned to the front of the store to inquire about other brands and features, we found him sitting at his computer and he again showed no desire to help us. We left and found another company sitting in the parking lot, Ferguson Bath, Kitchen, and Lighting Gallery in Bellevue. Their showroom experience was completely different. We were shown to a sales representative who sat down with us, and discussed all of our appliance needs, and showed us several fridge brands and models, including Miele appliances and outdoor grills. While not purchasing an oven through them, they inquired about the brand so that they could show us fridges and dishwashers that would match. It might have been an off day for the sales representative (everyone has them), but we felt completely disregarded as customers. read more

My delivery window 2pm-5pm. I called the store concerned I had not been contacted that installers were on their way as it was after 4 pm. On weekends there is no manager for the delivery staff and the person in store I talked to said he didn't know who was driver to call. It is 6 pm and no appliances. Very angry that I spent the whole day at home waiting for delivery. Their delivery staff should be calling customers if they are going to running later than the window given! I was told delivery would happen. Their delivery process needs to be better that you can have communication with the delivery staff on weekend! It's after 7 pm and no delivery! How can a company who has their own delivery staff have no means to communicate with customers or to be able to contact them when it's a no show?!?! Unbelievable! read more

We worked with Michael Factora to replace some of our 17-year old appliances including a dishwasher, washer, and dryer. This was our first time going someplace other than a big box store and it was a very positive experience! The customer service was fantastic. They have a lot of selection, are knowledgeable, and their store is very clean and modern. Michael kept us informed and communicated anytime there were updates, which we really appreciated. The deliveries were exceptionally quick considering that some of the appliances were on backorder. The dishwasher was available immediately and delivered within the next week of my visit to the store. We knew up front that the washer and dryer were on backorder and not expected until the end of May. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the washer and dryer were available sooner and they were just delivered earlier this week! The delivery, haul away, and installation was so quick and professional!! All of the installers were friendly, efficient, respectful, and helpful. They were in and out within about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I bought a washer/dryer combo from them. The installation went great and the guys were in and out very quickly and professionally. But within a couple of months the machine stopped working because they installed the dryer hose with a kink, which is a fire hazard so the machine automatically shuts down. I spoke with the manufacturer customer service as well as a duct cleaner who all told me this was due to improper installation. Once they have your money the staff at Frederick's will ghost you. It took a bunch of phone calls for them to send the guys back out, only to have them reinstall the hose with another kink. So my machine still doesn't work. They do not have a customer service number. The sales guys will point you to "dispatch" who does not answer the phone. At this point I am left just leaving voicemails and hoping I can get a reply. He shared the information with the installer so he would check for fit before unboxing the dishwasher. Mitch, the installer was professional and referenced manufacturer guidance to custom fit the dishwasher. Everything went perfectly and the dishwasher Mark recommended is so quiet I can run it any time and barely hear it even when standing in the kitchen. Customer service matters to me. We have purchased appliances from Frederick's several times over the past 10 years. Our last purchase was a dishwasher, this appliance was installed in our kitchen by two employees of Frederick's. During the installation the water supply line was only hand tightened onto the connector and not properly tightened, this caused a massive water leak at the back of our cupboard. The emergency plumber we called had the connector fall off in his hand and said it was very obvious it had not been fitted securely. We contacted Frederick's and they sent an employee to our house to look at the problem, he said as it was no longer leaking there was nothing he could do. According to Frederick's one of the employees is a 35 year veteran who would never make such a mistake, he was training another employee the day our dishwasher was installed. The damage cost of this bad install is $7000 to fix water damage under the flooring and replace cabinets. I do not recommend Frederick's and will never purchase any appliances from them again due to their lack of care and attention. read more

Do yourself a favor: Skip the trophy fridge, save your dollars, and your dignity. I purchased a new Sub Zero refrigerator from Mark Skar at Frederick's Appliance. Frederick's had what I needed in stock and ready for delivery. Mark said that delivery and installation would be no problem, even given my location. A couple of months or so after I made the purchase and when our kitchen reno was ready to receive the fridge, I called to schedule delivery. Mark then changed his tune and said that delivery and installation would not be possible. The store manager conformed this. When asked to refund my credit card, he said he could delivery and install for $1750. I declined, and kept declining as the price went down and down. This guy was behaving like racketeer. They eventually agreed to deliver for $375, but could not install it at any price. Once again, the story changed.... Lets be honest: No refrigerator on the planet is worth $14k, plus more bucks for delivery and installation no matter how well it performs or how good it looks. For a company like Fredericks to try to shake down a high-end customer is inexcusable. For what they wanted to charge me, I could buy a complete free-standing counter depth stainless unit that does not require special cabinetry, a special extra-tall truck, special electrical and plumbing provisions, does not weight nearly 600lbs, does not require three guys to move, and does not run the risk of a shakedown from the store manager. I walked in to inquire about getting one of those new LG all-in-one washer & dryers with heat pump. No one knew about this new model, but the employee quickly educated himself about this product and offered some advice to wait a week as they might have an even better price for President's day. However, I wasn't interested in waiting that long and called the next day to check about their best price - since Costco has it for quite a bit less. They met me half-ways and included their white-glove delivery which turned out to be really nice. Reading reviews of Costco delivery, I wanted someone more professional and got it with the 2-person crew from Fredericks. They needed to reschedule delivery once because the unit hadn't been delivered by the regional distributor, yet. That was all done via TXT, no problem, it just came a couple days later. The unit came with the extra-long drain hose that we needed and was quickly set up. BTW: If you're getting this new LG all-in-one with heat pump, it stinks really badly for the first 10-20 loads, and clothes also smell weird. I did a few cleaning runs with vinegar and then it was manageable and now a month later, the bad smell is gone. Very happy now. read more

We called Fredericks and learned there's a shortage of refrigerators because of the pandemic; then factor in that we have to buy a counter depth size and the options get even smaller. We called Best Buy, Home Depot, and Fredericks to compare availability. By far the best customer support experience was from Gregg at Fredericks. He walked us through the 3 styles that were available and completed our purchase by phone. He even arranged for delivery the next day. We have three kids, so when our old dishwasher suddenly broke down beyond repair, we needed a good replacement, pronto. Fredericks was prompt and helpful with finding the right model to balance our needs and our budget. Their installer arrived right on time and was both efficient and friendly. We appreciated how careful he was to protect our wooden kitchen floor from scratches during the haul-out and haul-in. He even diagnosed and cleared a clog out of the air gap for the drain pipes, which had caused the old model to sometimes flood our sink area while draining. The installation was quick and flawless, and the new machine is working great. I wish I read negative reviews first before ordering from them. The sales experience with Joe was great but everything else from there went downhill. The fridge installation team came and said they cannot install the fridge because the frame is not there. We installed the frame then they sent an email that oh we CANNOT install the fridge because it's close to the oven (per spec sheet). We looked into the spec and there is no indication of that. We contacted them and they said ok our guys are WILLING (!!!) to come and take another look. Guess what? Another crew came and they had no idea about the "issue" that was raised by the old crew and they installed the fridge NEXT to the oven. They left and the ice maker of the freezer column is not working. Contacted them twice now and have not received a response yet. Save your peace of mind and go another dealer. I don't think they know what they are doing. read more

Atom stayed in close touch with me on delivery. Always good communication and great follow-up. I cannot say enough in praise of this business! We bought a frig from them about 18 mos. ago, along with an extended warranty. Unfortunately, the frig was a lemon. Fredericks went out of their way taking care of us - quickly providing a loaner frig, a call from the owner of the business offering assistance, advocating for us with the warranty company and the frig manufacturer repair service. The crews that moved the non-working frig to our garage and installed the loaner were polite, careful and efficient. After months of attempted repairs by the manufacturers service team, Fredericks replaced the frig with a new one and they are dealing with reimbursement on the lemon model. This business is run like a business is supposed to run! They care about their customers. I am so grateful that I didn't buy through a big box store. I bought a new KitchenAid dishwasher from Fredrick's in November 2021. The sales and installation went smoothly. Three months later, the dishwasher stopped working. Although I have a standard 1 year warranty from KitchenAid, I also have the extended warranty through Fredricks. The soonest someone can come out a "look" at my dishwasher is month away. After wandering the store for a few minutes I was told that no one was available to help me, the freezers are in the next building over, they didn't have anyone that could bring it out to me. But, they would be happy to take my money and I could come back another day to pick up the freezer. We wanted to change our electric range to a gas range. Visited a couple of appliance stores but still came back to Fredericks as we really appreciate how knowledgeable and thorough our salesperson, Ken was. He not only showed us the high end products but also the mid-range ones. He was very responsive in his emails too. We ended up getting a Zephyr Hood and Wolf dual fuel range. The delivery and installation was the following week (other stores were a few weeks out!) Ken also recommended a contractor for the gas line and vent duct installation - his recommendation, Kris Grimminger, was detail-orientated , prompt and gets the job done well! The installation team for the Wolf Range ( Eduardo) was on time and courteous. He was truthful about how the toe-kick for the wolf range might look weird as it does not cover the 'gap' totally. I appreciate that he bothers to call his manager to check this out and gave me another alternative for the toe-kick. In the end, he still installed the toe-kick as best as he can. The installation for the hood was done by Kassim. Apparently, the opening for the vent hood was not correctly cut by our contractor. He spent hours fixing the issue and it was eventually resolved. I will recommend going to Fredericks if you need new appliances. read more

We are repeat clients with a former good feeling for this company. We ordered a dryer over the phone during COVID. I thought it would be simple as we knew exactly what we wanted - replacing or replicating the features of what we had before. It was not disclosed during the sales pitch that because of COVID & unavailable parts the dryer was 2 months later than promised. Delivery & installation was flawless - great guys and the reason for 1 star. The dryer delivered was similar only in the maker's name (Whirlpool). It lacked at least 4 of the features we had specifically requested - the worst being it was very loud & it sits in the room next to my home office. Unacceptable. The salesperson, Mark, was often unavailable and made many unkept promises to talk to the manager, look into other models in their store room and come up with something that would work for us. No information from Mark at all - he did not return calls, only talked with us when we called him. No resolution still and I would say his service was very poor. Still waiting. read more
