We had Lakeside out a couple of years ago to fix the ice maker in our fridge, it was spraying water outside of the ice making compartment and eventually ice was building up on the door and then into the main section of the fridge. Lakeside was out promptly, diagnosed the issue (the water feed line for the ice maker needed to have its position adjusted), and then did a once-over on the entire fridge and cleaned the coils off for us as well. I had another company out to fix my dishwasher (would not drain) and over a month they came out 3 times with different parts and could not fix it. To the rescue CHRIS! Our three-year-old high end fridge went out on a Saturday night on a holiday weekend and I didn't expect a response until Tues. Chris texted me right away and suggested I try flipping the breaker just to reset. I thought it was futile since the power outage in the area was a week ago and ours had never gone down. Sorry to have to write this, as I used to be so very happy with Lakeside. Our refer's ice maker was frozen over, and Lakeside fixed it roughly a year ago at about $500.00. 6 mos. later, it did exactly the same thing, and Chris personally came out to fix it. Now, it is frozen over again and I've left 3 messages and one text for Chris and he hasn't even called me back. It is the non-response especially that irritates me. If I receive the amount of the repair back from them, I'll respect the company more, but taking our money and not responding is something all should be aware of. read more

I would give this company "0" stars if Yelp had this option. If you want to set fire to $800 then you will love working with these folks. This company came out to look at our frozen icemaker in our one year-old Samsung refrigerator. The Repair Rep. was very knowledgeable and advised us that they were extremely busy but if we prepaid now they could order parts and get us on the list to fix in two weeks, so we did. After 3-4 weeks of not hearing back and not getting a call back after numerous calls we called our credit card and disputed the charge (which is a real pain). Well that got an answer and the owner came out and worked on our ice maker the following week. I had to call our credit card company to release the payment, which took many calls and a couple weeks but he did get paid. I felt compelled to write my very first Yelp review to warn others about Lakeside Appliance Service. I had called this business early Nov after finding them on yelp, and their technician, John, had stopped by my rental home in Issaquah on Nov 10th and charged me a $142 diagnostic fee with the promise that the part needed to fix the fridge would be arriving in 2-3 weeks. After over 4 weeks (and very unhappy tenants who were able to have a broken fridge during the holiday season), I start following up to ask about the part, to first having John tell me repeatedly he'll try to ask Chris (owner) about the order status...to finally his admitting he's quite sure that Chris had never even ordered it! John ends up quitting/leaving and tells me I need to try to get my $142 refund directly from Chris. I've been calling+texting Chris repeatedly to request my refund for the diagnostic fee with ZERO response from him. We were very happy with Lakeside Appliance Services. Chris, the owner arrived on time and was very careful about viral precautions staying 6 feet away and wearing gloves. He knew how to put out the Dacor oven/range which required disconnecting the gas because of a very short gas line that had to be accessed via a trap door in the cabinet. Chris immediately found the m as in problem a disconnected wire to the oven burner. He then said while my wife cleaned there floor under the oven that had not been seen on over 20 years. My wife has complained that some baked items are baking quicker than they should or are becoming slightly over-baked. Over the weekend we determined that our 4 year old Bosch wall oven was erratic when checking the temperature both on regular bake as well as convection bake. I placed a call to Lakeside Applicance at about 8:30 on Monday morning and they had John out to research our problem by 12 noon. John was able to check the oven and reset the temperature which. My wife just baked a cake and it came out perfect. Thank you John! One suggestion we've been hearing and did for this cake, use the oven on the convection setting. A while later I figured I would check Yelp and look for who to call next day when I found Lakeside Appliance Service. Their hours were a bit later than others but still, it was 35 minutes after the stated closing time. I decided to call anyway, just expecting to leave a message...but Chris answered right away, and said he could send John out the next day, and he gave me a 2-hr window.
