I purchased a new GE Profile dryer from Albert Lee Appliance on May 30, 2026, for $649 plus delivery and installation. Albert Lee's contracted installers installed it June 5. During installation, the installer did not know the dryer required a water connection for its steam/sanitize functions. After I asked about the steamer, he retrieved a hose from his truck and installed it. There was no apparent supervision or inspection. On June 7, before the dryer had ever been used, the hose connection failed and sprayed water throughout my second-floor laundry room. Water spread through the laundry room and into the main floor below, including through light fixtures, causing significant water damage and buckling floors. I reported the incident to Albert Lee June 8. Although customer service said the matter was being forwarded to a "team," no one from Albert Lee ever came to my home, inspected the damage, or apologized. Representatives from the installation company instead photographed the damage and questioned whether I had touched the hose. I had never used the dryer or touched the connection. I was also told a different type of hose should have been used. Due to the delay, I contacted my own insurance company. Professional mitigation was required, including removal of drywall and flooring and five days of drying equipment. Mitigation costs exceeded $8,000, and restoration is currently estimated at approximately $30,000. I later contacted Albert Lee myself about replacing the dryer. When they finally delivered a replacement, it was visibly damaged and I refused it. Their installers also initially did not know about the flooding or that my washer needed to be reconnected. One installer apologized, which was the first apology I received. Albert Lee sold me both the appliance and installation and should take responsibility for the contractor it hired. Albert Lee should have taken responsibility, provided a meaningful resolution, and refunded the approximately $700 I paid for the dryer as a good-faith gesture given the $30,000 in resulting property damage and the inadequate response to this incident. Do NOT EVER buy from them. read more

I recently walked in and was greeted with judgmental attitude which was really off putting, let me just say they weren't very welcoming or down to earth. Okay so when you say "we were unable to determine when the damage occurred", you realize you are are talking about a clearly visible dent on a built-to last stainless steel fridge door that was still wrapped in multiple layers of bubble packaging which your installer unwrapped on the spot right? Sure it is theoretically possible that I carefully unwrapped the bubble wrap, took a hammer to the door on a fridge that I've waited over a month for, then rewrapped it carefully for no reason, but... have you heard of Occam's Razor? Don't you think your "customer is liable for all damages unless proven" replacement policy is a bit draconian? "We offered to assist by providing a replacement panel at cost [so] we do feel our team worked to resolve this issue to the best of our ability". So in other words, a door that is literally less that the 3% credit card transaction fee of the order is damaged, and you are doubling down on the stance that the VERY BEST you can do is to SELL me another door. My elderly parents are being taken advantage of by this company. They have purchased a washing machine and it's broken. When asked for someone to come out they told them to hire a plumber to ensure there wasn't a clog in the pipes. No clog. Just their horrible washing machine that they sold and won't take responsibility for repairing. A repair man was supposed to come out to fix and guess what NO SHOWED. This is unacceptable. My mom called and was given a voicemail to the manager. So now they have spent money on a brand new washer THAT DOESN'T WORK and cannot get someone to come out to look and won't take calls. I will be charging back this purchase unless someone contacts and actually fixes this washing machine by end of day Monday August 24th, 2026. read more

We have had three service calls and just made another appointment with GE -- but they can't come take a look at my completely dead stove for 2 weeks. Albert Lee Appliances in Bellevue has the worst customer service possible. I bought expensive new washer and dryer from them. Upon delivery, I said the delivery was missing the pedestals the units sit on. The delivery team told me to take the delivery and talk to the store to get the pedestals. When I talked to the store, they told me it would take nearly $2000 to get the pedestals installed. I was a long time customer of Albert Lee in Bellevue and they treated me like dirt. This was my first time coming to the store or working with any of the employees. My husband has purchased appliances from them before and had a positive experience with selection, quality, pricing and employees which is why we went back to give them more business When we entered all the employees were at their desks and we're very engaged in whatever they were working on but they still were sure to always have one person saying hello and welcoming us to the store, as well as asking what we were looking for and if they could give us any direction. Sounds pretty standard quo, right? The difference was that the person who helped us was genuinely nice and not into pressing us to buy anything. After we told her what we were looking for she directed us to the item by taking us there and asking if we had any questions which we did not at the time so she said she'd give us some space and to let her know if we needed anything. In my experience at most places, they're kind of breathing down your neck a lot of the time or you just feel this pressure from them. She came over to check on us and by that time we did have a question. She didn't know the answer but was more than happy to go and find out. And when she did, she didn't just come back with a simple answer. She had thought through why we were asking and also brought documentation as well as other ideas. Wow. I didn't realize that people have those types of customer skills anymore these days. And again, she wasn't pressuring us. She literally wanted to answer our questions and make sure that she was helping us in the way that we needed They had the product that met our needs, it was on sale for an amazing price that I know we couldn't find anywhere else and of course I'm gonna wanna buy for someone who is in actual good sales person role model She helped us with the actual sale, being very efficient and did everything correct. It was delivered on time and without any product issues and they even called to make sure everything was working out as we wanted It's so nice the businesses like this still exist. Albert Lee has aways been my go to store and their service has always been excellent. This review is directed towards the delivery service for which I give a 1.5 at best. This us a reflection on the store choice of delivery service provider. In this situation they get a 3 star. The delivery person spilled water on my floor and refused to wipe it up forcing me to do his clean up work. This was in conjunction to the terrible attitude displayed while installing the washer. His first claim was the drain hose was to short and refused to do the job only to find it was plenty long. Albert Lee should be held responsible for the crappy delivery. read more

We purchased a brand new fridge. Albert Lee delivered a materially defective unit - it fails to hold the set temperature from Day1. An inspection found a leakage of the coolant and seemingly prior attempt to address some issue in the pipes. We reported the issue two days after delivery. We requested an exchange or refund. Albert Lee took a week to respond, initially offering to fix the fridge on site. Ten days after delivery, a week after initial complaint, Albert Lee took responsibility for the issue. 5-starts for taking full responsibility. 1-star for the effort and time a customer had to put into this. He heard my requirements and pointed me to the right solution for my application, a custom microwave trim that would let me use any microwave I wanted -- even if it doesn't end up being from Albert Lee. Like other reviewers, my Beko refrigerator has been defective from day one. The temperature varies widely from different parts of the fridge (my neighbor has exactly the same problem). I've had multiple visits from technicians (who have been great) over months and no resolution - which is obviously is replacement. Beko is pulling out of the US market a fact that Albert Lee was well aware of when it sold the fridge. In effect, it was and still is, selling off a faulty product is not trustworthy (nor is Beko). read more

Very disappointed in the quality of BEKO appliances. They break down and parts are not available. our BEKO fridge was replaced by GE fridge valve failed and water leaked on our hardwoods ruining them. Then the compressor failed and had to be replaced. our BEKO Oven had to be replaced due malfunctions with a DACOR range and the ignitor has failed twice. our BEKO dishwasher has been repaired and failed 2 weeks later and we ordered parts which arrived 2 months later and the repairmen came and said the dishwasher could NOT be repaired at all. These appliances are 6 years old or less. I feel Albert Lee let us down with selling us these products. We have always shopped at AL but will no longer do so. Very upset. read more

Very disappointed in the quality of BEKO appliances that we purchased 2 years ago. During that time, the following has happened: refrigerator door handle came off and water dispenser leaked, oven front leg broke off randomly, oven has had several issues getting hot and does not currently work (part replacement has to be approved by Albert Lee), and clothes washer foot broke off (we inserted a block of wood underneath in order to continue washing clothes). We love the buying process through Albert Lee, but they need to stop offering BEKO products. read more

We had been trying for months to get an unnamed company to honor a warranty on our poorly functioning oven. Eventually they broke us and we did what we should have done originally, visited Albert Lee in Bellevue. Sometimes, local is just better. Kris was amazing and found us the perfect replacement double oven, a GE Cafe. Two weeks later the install team showed up and flawlessly swapped the broken oven for the new one. Professional, efficient and did an amazing job. Super appreciative of the entire process. And the first batch of cookies turned out perfectly. read more

Terrible customer service, hostile sales associate, and poor knowledge of products in the market. Went there to buy appliances for my newly remodelled kitchen and laundry room. I walked in, the receptionist made eye contact but did not even bother to say hi back when I said hi. First red flag that customer service is poor here. After I saw the products I asked to talk to a sales associate to get a quote. Mark was called. He was so hostile, didnt say hi, stood there with his chin up, hands in his pockets, stairing at me without saying anything or asking any questions. He didnt introduce himself or asked my name. So frustrating and awkward to stand eye to eye with a sales person and not talking. Reluctantly I started the conversation and he responded in a very hostile manner as if I was an inconvenience. He already knew why I was there because he had listened to my conversation with another person at the store when he was pouring coffee for himself. He was so annoyed that I only needed a quote and not a tour. The entire time his intention was to prove he is "RIGHT" and all my design choices and anything else I say is wrong. We had an old washer/dryer in our new home and an old dishwasher that were all on their last legs. We bought all the appliances to our condo at Albert Lee for about $800 less than we could find online, short of a Black Friday sale. So fast forward 4 years and we are enjoying a white glove install of a Miele washer/dryer and next week the new dishwasher comes. The only thing that would have made this perfect is if they asked us to photo the electrical plug we currently have as we need three phase four prong vs the three phase three prong. They removed the old, installed the new and told us what the electrician needed to tweak to finish the install. read more

I ordered a built-in wall oven for my rental property. Installer came and scratched the newly professionally painted wall (just painted 6 days prior). Family members were there to accept the delivery. Then would not install due to electrical issue. They did not haul away the old unit and said that they would return to install and haul away the old unit once I have an electrician do the electrical work. They left the old oven in the living room, and the new oven in the middle of the kitchen, garbage on the floor Well I already paid for an electrician to update the wiring and they installed the new wall unit. Now Albert Lee people said they will NOT come to haul away the old oven unit that they left in the living room AND will not pay for repainting of the walls THEY scratched. I'm so angry. We've spent several thousands of $ on 6 large appliances purchased from them. This is a rental unit and new tenants were due to move in but now delayed due to this issue, and now loss of rental income. Do not use this company. *Their reply is completely dishonest. I don't know who Kelly is that is replying to me as customer service never contacted me, now do I know how she was involved in my "customer care" - a true misnomer. No one from customer care has returned my call from the initial complaint filed nor my phone calls to them. Perhaps part of their customer care should be calling clients back, and informing them of the resolution/outcome?! Again, their installation people scratched the newly painted walls of the entry. And they refuse to have those 3 small walls repainted. Dishonesty is not what you want when buy many large appliances. *update, they've hauled away the old unit today and now there are new scratches and scuffs on the wall. We bought a dishwasher and paid for the install. They did a terrible job with the dishwasher sticking out and a gap at the top between the dishwasher and counter. When these issues were pointed out the response was, that's the way it's supposed to be. We ended up completely uninstalling/taking out the dishwasher and redoing it. Fortunately my husband is handy and was able to do, or else we'd be stuck with a very awkward looking dishwasher. However, the whole point was we were trying to save ourselves the hassle and between having to be available for the install time window and having to completely undo their work to re-install--it ended up being more work than if we had just done it ourselves to begin with. read more

We were screwed by our repair person who broke the computer on the kitchen aid wall oven and never came back! So headed online and my husband found the perfect replacement. We bought a Cafe wall oven/convection microwave combination. It does so many things, bakes, roasts, and the microwave does double duty. It can be used as a steam oven, speed cooking convection or a microwave! We got a good deal it was marked down almost $1000! The installation folks were great. They had to do some sawing to fit it into the space. No mess, and did a beautiful job. They did tests, explained what to expect, and how long before it would be ready to use. Excellent service. Our dishwasher was on its last legs, so we went shopping for a new dishwasher before it totally quit on us. We were going to check out a few other retailers, but Albert Lee was only one of a few who offered the particular brand/model we wanted. We had a very nice and knowledgeable salesperson named Sharnjit. Although we had tentatively picked out a dishwasher ahead of time, she went to the trouble of explaining the differences between the various brands and model to make sure we felt comfortable with our decision. Purchasing the dishwasher was painless as Sharnjit efficiently wrote up our order and explained the current promotions that were associated with the dishwasher that we ordered, i.e., a $150 gift card and an extended 5-year warranty. We ordered the dishwasher in mid-December, so the installation date was scheduled three weeks later because of the holidays. We didn't need the dishwasher right away, so that was not a problem for us. Three installers (one was "in training") arrived to install the dishwasher and it was completed in a little over an hour. Although the installers didn't wear protective booties in the house, which would have been nice because it was wet out, they did a nice, careful job on the installation. The rebate and extended warranty arrived a few weeks after the installation and the dishwasher is working well. Based on our experience, I would recommend Sharnjit and Albert Lee Appliance to anyone who is in the market for an appliance. read more

It is unfortunate that the culture at Albert Lee Appliance Bellevue is they think they are doing you a favor by selling you appliances. They are not rude or unprofessional, they are just unpleasant and it's sad their processes are archaic and cumbersome. It should not take 1 hour sitting with a sales person for them to go to multiple internal websites to check stock, check prices, check dimensions, check lead times, check accessories necessary for installation and then still say they will have to call you with final numbers. But that's not the worst part. The invoice is not clear and as such you have to do the audit the QA to find out they don't have the right door swing or panels on the order. But then you opt for their professional Installation and their installers don't have the "right tools" to do the install and have to reschedule. You call your sales person who says we only do " plug and play" nothing more that that. I objected and asked why it cost so much fir this basic install and his response was " you can have a refund and find someone else to do the Install" I say go to Frederick's Appliance! read more

New house, new appliances - we met with Dan initially who gave us lots of great information on many of the high end lines of applicances avaialble. We eventually settled on Thermador and placed our large order. In April. Dan set our expectations up front to expect a wait and boy, he wasn't kidding. all told between order and final delivery, it was approaching 6 months to finish installing appliances in our kitchen. I don't blame Dan or AL - i would get periodic emails from Dan letting me know what would be delivered on an expected delivery date. Both in selecting the right appliances to suit my needs and in keeping me abreast of shipping delays because of supply chain problems during the pandemic. He was kind, knowledgeable and patient with my all questions. It made buying appliances actually enjoyable. When it came time to install my appliances, the service teams have been great. After a 6 month wait for my new Bosch dishwasher, the two guys that came out to install it were professional, friendly, fast and knew what they were doing. Joaquin was a true professional and as knowledgeable as my plumber. Jesse was did a great job of explaining exactly what they were doing and what I needed to know about using my new dishwasher. Unknown to myself, I was sold a GE CAFE 36" induction cook top that was sold to another individual. When the cooktop was purchased on 8/23/23, we were told it was in stock and ready for installation. When it came to installation, the appointment was initially was slated for 8/29/23 and was rescheduled for 9/7/23 because of additional electrical work to be completed. Now, (Sept 6th), I receive an email scheduling the installation for 9/29/23. Tasha, the sales associate admitted via email, that my cook top went to another customer beacuse they purchased it before me. What company sells "virtual" appliances? WE ARE PISSED! By the way, we are repeat customers of Albert Lea and had not had a problem such as this...this is a disappointment. read more

We ordered an 18" Bosch dishwasher. The guy (Tim) wheeling it out to the car refused to help put the dishwasher in the back seat and had a real attitude problem for some reason. It fit in the back seat with no issue and was the only place it could fit in the car. I did have problems lifting it by myself since I have arthritis and wear braces on both hands. read more
