I visit this Best Buy location often and usually enjoy browsing, Forest at the front door is always friendly and welcoming and mentioned knowing me from my regular visits which was funny that he recognizes me. Unfortunately, I recently had a frustrating experience after being sold a product that turned out to be incorrect for my needs in which their sales human assured was the correct product. When I returned to exchange it, management was not helpful and didn't seem interested in resolving the issue, which left me feeling dismissed. As a result, I lost $40 on a product I relied on staff to recommend. I was also surprised to learn that receipts are no longer accessible after 45 days, which removes a level of convenience I previously appreciated. When it comes to appliances, their times are in a central warehouse somewhere in around town, what they have are the floor models. Anyhoo, the associate there was very friendly and helpful in providing all the info we needed to make a good purchasing decision. The associates at the Cell phone area also helped my wife and I replace our lifetime warranty cell phone screen protectors. The delivery of the Garage Freezer involved a Sub contractor, but said Sub contractor did things well. Been here during the Holidays as well, they are pretty efficient in handling online order pickups. Parking is ample and spacious. Best Buy also has a tier Rewards/Warranty program which if you're a person that buys a lot of electronics and appliances, it might be a good investment. The geek squad here is terrible. If I could have given them negative stars I would. Came in for a simple CMOS battery replacement. Paid 60$ waited 3.5 hours. came back for my computer and they didn't replace the completely dead cmos battery. Tried to tell me it just needed reset. Turned it on cmos battery dead warning came up and bios wasn't working correctly. If the customer asks for and pays for a replacement cmos battery it should be simple and quick Repair. I am thrilled with Best Buy's option to offer a free in-home consultation! Having just moved, there's a few things I wanted to schedule or inquire about. Scheduling this consultation was very easy online through the website. They have plenty of time/date options available for just about anyone's schedule. I was more impressed I was able to schedule this consult for a HOLIDAY on the 4th of July!! Aaron called ahead to confirm- even offered to arrive early if my schedule would oblige. He was on-time & very pleasant. Having told me he's been when Best Buy for 16+ years- I knew this was going to be easy. And, it was! Bless his patience maneuvering around my current aftermath of moving situation. But, he nailed down the exact smart TV that would best suit this condo, and I appreciated the pricing options to choose from. Not just pricing, but comparing between brands as well. I am very happy he offered the swivel mount, which would actually be a bit of an "upgrade" & work much more functional for this space- without being prompted, so it's more than evident he knows his ropes here! The price difference wasn't even enough to think twice. Inspected the damage on the mount that was removed from prior owners, examining the second room install & feeds. Good news was nothing would cause an issue! He also answered much of my questions when it comes to installing a sound bar, home security & Ring doorbell systems. While I'm going to wait on some of these additions, I did have him include the Ring system. Again, everything was explained well & up front. Also thrilled I hit the promotional sale for the 4th! And, install was easily scheduled for just a couple days out. I'll be up & running by this weekend! I know much of these reviews are based on in-store experience, but I have to say I'm really pleased with the in-home consult I had today. Sure, I didn't get to personally view any of the displays you'd see in store, but Aaron was more than familiar with the range of products/options. At no point did I feel I was being taken advantage of or being sold something more than my needs or initial request. I would definitely recommend scheduling a consult. And, they back their installs. They told me the guy in charge of working on it was in break and would do it when he got back. So I left again then came back at 8. So they've had my tower and fans for 3 hours now even though they told me it would only take 20 minutes. Then when I go up to the counter to check in on my stuff they ask me if I'm the person leaving my tower over night. Like no we never talked about that you guys said 20 minutes. So I gave up on them doing what they promised and asked for a refund I'll figure it out. While this is going on the service guy goes into the back to grab my tower and the tech that was supposed to be working on it is laughing at me like honestly me waiting 3 hours for something you said would take 20 minutes I feel like my impatience is justified. read more

Geek squad told us that it needed a graphics card to run my games better but they didn't have one and recommended us to go online and buy one. After we bought it we went back today cause we were told that they could install it, then they told us we couldn't because my pc couldn't handle the graphics card. So we bought the exact graphics card just to be told they can't install it. They then recommended another pc to buy instead, fine we did so. They told us they could put in the graphics card and a few other things from my old pc to my new one and that it would take 4 hours and they'd call us. They never did we had to reach out to them. And over the phone they said "it wouldn't take four hours instead it would be at least a few days." I'm beyond frustrated that we keep getting told different things. I went in looking for the clip JBL speaker because of all the great reviews it had. I purchased this SUPER cute color speaker... man I tell you what that thing is LOUD! No good deals or discounts on anything... no first responder discount either so paid full price... I guess I like instant gratification. The reason I gave the store 3 stars is due to the pleasant greeter.. which he was pleasant, however told me I cannot take picture of the store or items. I asked him why... he said if I take a picture of the store I can help thieves with the layout of the store. I have never heard of that in my life as influencers, vlogers, etc video tape themselves in stores everyday. I did mention to him I liked to review experiences and take good pictures. When I got back from vacation I went to the store to return the defective product (got range extender that worked from my internet provider), was informed the Best Buy return policy is ONLY 14 DAYS! I want to preface that is the first time in almost 20 plus years of shopping at Best Buy that anything remotely has happened to me like this. The incident occur on Friday, April 7, 2023 @1220pm; ,my scheduled appointment time. This is the location was Apple Support sent me to have support for my iPad by Geek Squad performed. When I was finally seen for called to the counter for assistance (there was a 10 minute wait to get a Geek Squad Tech) the tech didn't seem confident or definitely unsure of how to assist me with an Apple product, so I requested that it could/would be better if someone else that more familiar assist me. The Technician then, through his hands up in the air and says that he's done assisting me and goes away into a back room. This occurs right in front of the Geek Squad manager (Name unknown). I stated to him that they're nothing unprofessional on my part and states that he observed the entire thing and would get me another specialist to assist me. While waiting, another random employee asks if I needed assistance which he provided by stating that I would likely get faster service by going to the Apple Store since they do not stock older/legacy products in the store. I then requested the Store Manager to convey my experience. After a decent wait Toni, the Store General manager shows up. After explaining to him what occurred, he stated that the employee is an "emotional" person and that he was in the back crying and that I should understand that people have bad days and I should realize that. I explained to him I am a paying customer and that it should not fall on the customers to have to deal with employees that have none emotional/social issues. This in my observation is totally unprofessional to have employees throwing tantrums in front of customers. If dealing with the public at large is not their strong suit, then they shouldn't be place in a position to fail by weak supervision and/or management. The store willingness to put employees that are emotionally unstable is definitely exhibits poor judgment and unprofessional to expose customers to this unacceptable and dare I say liable for incidents that could occur. Lastly, Toni's dismissive approach was the most appalling part of this interaction. His inability to recognize the situation, in that me a customer was bringing an incident/failure to his attention shows a severe lack of Customer Service, as well as, Customer "Value" on his behalf. Ultimately I would think that he is responsible for the actions of the employees under his charge. He was not conciliatory nor apologetic for what transpired. This is a nicer Best Buy location with bright welcoming environment.  I was looking for a new tablet and a sales associate was able to help me within minutes of entering in the store.  He took me through some of my options and gave explained the difference between storage and cameras of each unit.  I initially thought I would opt for one of the cheaper android based models, but I was sold on the iPad after trying out various features and functions.  There is a large selection at this store so you will not be limited by options.  Their prices are also competitive to what you can find online.  I am very pleased with my purchase and thankful for all the help I received here and will come back in the future. read more

Please people read the reviews and save yourself the time and headache this store may cause you to deal with. I came into the store to purchase a PlayStation edition backbone for an iPhone that's on sale for Black Friday. After looking around the department I found a few Xbox backbones for an iPhone and decided that one is fine they both do virtually the same things. I did ask if the PlayStation one was available and was told it was sold out. Just like much of the store looked picked over and empty. Anyway I proceed to checkout with this item that's not exactly what I was after but will do what I want it to do and end up with an issue with my gift card. The sales associate made a comment about the card being old which is only kinda true. The card is about a year old from Christmas last year. Anyway he wasn't able to scan the card and the card reader wouldn't read the card either. The sales associate informed me that there's nothing else that he could do and manually entering the card was not an option. So I went right outside the store and ordered the PlayStation backbone I wanted from this store that I was told was sold out and am now going to go back inside to pick it up because it's already ready for pick up. So for some reason they do not want or care about your in-house business so I say f-'em and this will be the last time this location gets a dime of my money. That's so incredibly sad that a company as large as Best Buy can't produce a management team that puts faith and product knowledge into its employees and create an atmosphere where people are proud to work. This place is a disgrace a total joke. The amount of money this place must list due to ignorance is probably astronomical. So do yourself a favor and if you need something from Best Buy, skip this location or better yet just look for whatever it is you want online you're bound to find whatever it is cheaper someplace else anyways. read more

Customer service suck. Been standing at the mobile phone department for quite some time.

Last year in February, my wife and I purchased new GE cafe series kitchen appliances the cost wa around $15,000. Due to supply chain problem it took almost 10 months to complete our order. The Chandler best buy is around 2 hours + from where we live and was the closest best buy store that hand a good selection of appliances om the floor. Due to the length of time the store gave us our contractor would not schedule our kitchen remodel tell all appliances were delivered. Well yesterday 9/25/23 our granite was installed on our new cabinet and today the cook top was installed. After the install our contractor took the griddle which is an accessory to the cook top out of the box tofind out they shipped the wrong one. This griddle cost over $200, so I called best buy customer service. I spent over 1 1/2 hours on the phone with 7 different people, all off shore which were all hard to understand. Finally the last person I spoke with said it was past the return time and I wouldn't be able to get a refund. They wouldn't even do an exchange. She said to go to the Chandler store and talk with them, but she said no promises. Again this store is a 260 mile round trip and that would be another $80 in gas, with no guarantee to resolve the issue. Why not best buy send me the right one, and send me a return shipping label, credit me the difference or charge me the difference what ever it is. Think twice before making a purchase from any best buy. read more

Also, Im still big on CD's so I come here for those too. They have cell phone service sections and also a section for windows items, apple items, play station items, xbox, nintendo.....anything for electronics ....you name it!! My fiance and I were here last night & we were looking for what we needed. We had 3 associates as if we needed assistance which was great because we did.
