I have been having lots of problems with my phone. Changing carriers did not solve any problem (although I am now saving 83 dollars per month). Every store I went to and each time I was on a phone chat, I got lots of advice and possible solutions, but all in vain. Finally, I made an appointment with Marcos at ubreakifix in Chandler. He checked out everything and came up with a recommendation about what to say to the current carrier (knowing the lingo helps). I went to the carrier's tech shop here along with copies of chats with other 'experts' and they tried everything they could think of. Then, they took Marcos' advice and the situation was resolved. Moral of the story...these kinds of repair issues can be very frustrating, but going from expert to expert really pays off. Eventually you find the right expert and that I did by going to ubreakifix. I just took in my phone today after being told about how nice the staff is. A nice gentlemen named Diego took my phone and got my charging port cleaned up as good as new! Not loose, no more charging at a weird angle. And it took less than five minutes, didn't cost me a dime! Fantastic experience. If it ever happens in the future I'll be back for certain! read more

I scheduled an appointment for replacing the HDMI for my PS5. I was told the total price would be $200 and waiting time minimum 10 days. 10 minutes later I found a local shop called Phoenix Electronix, and they only charged me $144 with cleaning included and same day service if you drop your device before 1pm. read more

Stopped here as a recommendation from Best Buy to repair my phone, in which, my sim card got stuck inside of it without the tray. Best buy couldn't get it out and sent me here thinking that they would be able to get it out in no time using a special tool even though they told me that if this spot couldn't do it to go through the warranty that I purchased. They were trying to save me time which I thought was nice! When I arrived the cops were there which had me concerned at first but then I heard a guy outside speaking with them stating that he was sorry for wasting their time so I assumed it was nothing and continued inside without being noisy Ki was working the front and helping a customer with his ps or one of the game consoles but Ki was working super hard on pushing this customer on purchasing their service plan... it was hilarious to watch as he kept repeating himself trying to make this customer purchase it. I've never seen anyone push that hard!!! The customer kept saying no and you could tell that the customer was uncomfortable as it made me uncomfortable watching this hotness. I was up in line and Ki was nice to me and was nice enough to tell me that they could take the phone apart to get the sim card out but that it would cost $60. I told him that I'd contact my warranty company first as I'd need a replacement until the phone is repaired. He seemed knowledgeable even after I informed him that Best Buy told me that, the type of phone I have, couldn't be taken apart. I'd return here for future repairs of electronics, now that, I know that this place exists. read more

To expensive bad atmosphere had to wait a hour just to pay 100 for cleaning and to actually to fix things 500 and up it is insane

Communication wasn't so great about when my part was going to arrive. The first date they told me to drop off my Samsung was a no go; when I came by on the said date, they said the part was still at the warehouse and gave me another date to come by to drop off my phone. The next time, I decided to call before coming during my lunch break and boy, was I glad I did..bc the part was still at the warehouse! After apologizing for the foulup, they gave me a new date to drop off my phone and this time, the part was ready when I called. The actual repair was done the same day, which I liked, but they need to work on communicating with their warehouse (and customers) better if parts are not readily available. The experience would have been 5 stars had it not been for the multiple miscommunication about the status of my parts. read more

Please note: these comments are exclusively about the way Asurion runs this place, NOT the employees. They did their best & were never the problem. We dropped our PS5 off on Dec. 17th for a power supply replacement. We were quoted 3-5 business days for the part to arrive and then approximately 2 hours for the repair. We had expected to be able to get it back before Christmas. Mind you, we came here after being told at the Gilbert & Germann location that 1. diagnosis would be $40 and 2. they can't fix it anyway because they haven't been able to order parts for MONTHS. Anyway, we waited until after Christmas to call, because it's the holidays and things get pushed back, it happens. They had ordered the part, they said (it came later than expected because they've been having issues with UPS & with suppliers in general), and when it came, it was the wrong one. They ordered the other one and it didn't arrive until January 2nd. Due to the tech being out until the 4th, and the fact that they were incredibly busy that day, the repair wouldn't be done until the 5th. I called on the 5th at 3pm and was told it was next in queue and would be done within about 3 hours. Now, we live about an hour away, and happened to be in town on the 5th. We went by there shortly before 7 and were told that they had been incredibly busy, and it would be ready the next day. This was true, though we couldn't pick it up until the 6th due to, well, needing to plan and have time to make that trip. (While having to wait the additional time was frustrating, I feel for the employees who have to give this news to people and also for the one single technician working at the location. As I mentioned, this isn't to do with the employees but rather how it seems Asurion has it set up.) This happened months *after* we attempted to go there to fix my wife's iPhone charge port and were told that they would have to keep the phone for approximately 3-5 days while they waited on the part. But they wouldn't order it ahead of time, we had to drop it off first. Luckily there was another repair place that had it fixed within the hour. Don't make this your first choice for repairs, unless you have a Samsung, I guess. read more

The worst experience i have ever had. The return time on my device was 7 to 10 was false and there has been no communication from thier end to me the customer unless I call them up. Each time I called the store said they will get back to me never did until i called. For 2 week it been in the same waiting status. I can only assume that it hasn't been look at. I took my Xbox here about a year ago, during this time they gave me an estimated time. That time came and went with no update, unfortunately about 2 weeks later I received an email following up on my inquiry and they stated the supplier had not sent what was needed XYZ. I was told my Xbox was repaired although here we are a year later with a broken Xbox I took it in to them again due to the discount they offered and the wait is about a week. I emailed asking if there was another store I could take it to that could provide a solution faster and they replied "You are more than welcome to pick up the device at any point to take it to another location." I honestly was shocked they responded in that manner. I will update this if my Xbox is repaired and lasts this time. read more

Xbox one wouldn't start up and took it in and they were able to fix it up, works great now. Manuel at the chandler fashion/mall location is a G, very nice and respectful. Had gotten a quote from a place near our home but didn't have time for it to be repaired before we had to leave. Where to even begin with this place... over the course of two months, we brought my boyfriend's phone in to this location for various repairs probably about a dozen times because the employees kept adding more problems that couldn't be fixed correctly for the longest time. It started when he accidentally dropped his phone and the screen cracked, and this specific location was listed as where he could get it fixed under warranty. We dropped off the phone and went home, all seemed fine - until they called to say they forgot to have my boyfriend unlock his phone. They wouldn't accept the passcode over the phone, so we had to drive all the way from west Mesa back to this shop just to unlock the phone, then drive back home, and come back later in the day when they were finally done with the repair. This should've been a massive red flag to just what sort of people we were dealing with, but we just wanted the phone fixed. Only it wasn't fixed... they'd had to factory reset the device, but once we got home nothing could be loaded onto the phone. We took it to a T-Mobile store since by then this place was closed, and they said it was likely an issue with the motherboard. What? How did they manage screw up the motherboard so badly during a screen repair?? The next available day we took the phone back again, but this time they didn't glue the backing down properly and it was coming loose. Again, returned to the store for another repair, only to discover another resulting issue with the phone later on. Repeat this about ten or so times over the course of several weeks... it was excruciating. At some point with like the third or fourth attempt to get the backing fixed or the second time to fix the motherboard, I don't remember which, the employee said they actually were never supposed to accept the warranty to fix the phone so they aren't going to help anymore... basically saying even though they'd messed up the phone countless times from what should've been a simple repair, they were then just going to suddenly back out and not fix the mistakes they caused? This was unprofessionalism and incompetence at its finest. It wasn't even my phone but even I was getting severely irritated and how much we were having to return to this damn store to deal with these people. Eventually after arguing with my boyfriend for nearly an hour, they finally agreed to fix the malfunctions they caused. So far it seems like the phone is completely back to normal, but we will NEVER return to this store or any other locations. This is the sort of horrendous customer service horror stories you hear people talk about that seem so outrageous it can't possibly be true.. but sadly it was. I would highly advise against ever setting foot here. You'd have better luck getting your device fixed properly if you smacked it with a hammer. read more

When I entered this place, they told me that appointments had no priority over walk-ins. They also didn't have the product I needed and could not process an AT&T warranty claim from another location. This is the second time I have come here. First time I just needed my computer cleaned up from a spill. Best Buy gave me so many excuses and problems. I've paid for the geek squad service and they still wouldn't take a few minutes to look at the computer. I came here and mike took care of the problem within minutes. Hence my return today. I took a spill in mud and my phone got some mud in the USB port. Today the guys took care of the phone within minutes. Definitely would recommend them. Asurion not only broke and lost my computer, but wasted six months of my time. This story continues over a duration of around seven months. Late March I cracked my MacBook Pro 2020 screen and paid the $100 fee at UBreakiFix to have it replaced. A week later, it was returned with a new and improved screen. About a month later, I find my camera not working (I figured this out a month later as I rarely use the camera on my computer). No setting will turn it on, and I even sit down with an employee from UBreakiFix to double check I'm not missing something. Nope. My MacBook Pro was given back to me with a fixed screen and broken camera. It took me about 15 phone calls, if not more, to have them take it back and fix it. It was given to Asurion as they had previously dealt with it. At this point every employee knew me by name. After I was informed it was "fixed", I was told to watch my text updates from Asurion that stated it was on its way back to me and got a UPS tracking number. A couple days later UPS said my computer was delivered, and I come to find the only address stated on the form was literally they word "Other" and that I hadn't received it. Obviously this caused some confusion on my end as I had been dealing with calling them every other day with the patience of a saint. I called once more and they stated that this was now a UPS issue and I would have to file a request with UPS to get my package recovered. I do this, and it takes me a good two hours. Figuring I had finished my frustrations for the day, I was enlightened to an email at 9:28 PM that exact night stating that my "repair was still in progress" and to "Look for it in the next 5-7 business days. Use the label to send your product to us so we can take a look. You'll need a shipping box and some padding or bubble wrap." I do not have my computer. I had told the supervisor that morning that I did not and they directly told me that UPS must have lost it (or so I thought). The next day I check my status and now it says my computer is being worked on! I call back and am transferred to a supervisor as the front employee's admit that they cannot do anything for me and that I should "disregard any emails I get". About an hour later I have spoken to yet another supervisor and she gives me her personal # and says she will talk to their UPS team and get back to me two days later. This phone call informs me that I need to file a police report, and I do. I do not receive any information until exactly three weeks after this. At this point I have called over 20 different people that continuously transfer me to another sector within this company since no one seems to have any clearance, and it is 2 days before I start college. It was 17th of August and I had been speaking with managers, supervisors, and the police for a total of 6 straight hours, and I have finally gotten verbal confirmation that I will be receiving a reimbursement check (that's $268 below the price I paid for my brand new Mac that I got 2 months before I turned it in for repair) of course AFTER they receive "confirmation". I understand that once you purchase a computer the original price is lowered, but for as long as I've been dealing with this situation it feels as though I'm paying $268 for their screw-up. At this point I am exhausted and have wasted over 30-40 hours of my life calling, speaking, and being transferred to any person affiliated with Asurion, uBreakiFix, and Home+. About a week later I receive the check and buy a new computer. A couple weeks after this I called and demanded a refund and was reimbursed a little over half of the payments I made to Home+. I do not recommend either UBreakiFix, Home+, or Asurion to ANYONE. They will lead you around in circles until you've wasted a total of six months of your life on an issue that should have taken a week. I quite literally had to call them myself ever step of this six month process because no initiative was taken on their end whatsoever. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND! DOES NOT HONOR THEIR COUPONS! I took my phone here for repair due to the mall not having the part needed. They were randomly closed at 4p on a Mon afternoon. I was finally able to get in on Tues at 11a. My phone was not repaired until Wed afternoon at 1p. Their website says repairs within 2 hours. I had to keep calling to check on the status. I called at 5p on Tues and was told it was 'next in queue' and they close at 7p. We went to get it at 630p and the store was closed! The hours are stated on the door & website and I was verbally told by 2 employees they were open til 7p. I also had a coupon for $10 off my first repair. I had a conversation with Charles when I dropped my phone off that I had this coupon and we discussed approx price with the coupon. When I went to get my phone, the $10 off was not honored and I was overcharged $25! They said I had to mention it upon pick up, when nowhere is this stated in the email. They are now refusing to offer me a credit and told me I had to call corporate. "Corporate" is an endless loop of "enter your Verizon pin" and "enter your Verizon account number". I am not a Verizon customer, so their corporate number is useless! They offered no other solutions. "Great" customer service. I would NOT recommend this place and their shady business practices. Had I known, I would have just waited and taken my phone to the mall to be fixed. I would have saved the hassle and saved another $15! read more

Nice people and friendly staff but here's what happen I took my iPhone 11XR to get my screen replaced and after I came back to pick it up and left again...my screen started freaking out and doing super weird things so I took it back that day to get it fixed and they fixed it no problem and it was working fine but now my screen does super weird things like when I put it on the charger the whole screen starTS doing random things and then I bought a otter box and screen protector and I dropped my phone from 2 feet off the ground and it cracked ! So over all not happy with this place it's worth it to spend the extra 50$ and have apple fix it the right way! read more

I had an appt set up with their competitor but a recommendation from my wife convinced me to try Ubreakifix in Chandler. Great decision!! I was a walk-n and I dealt with Riley, whom was friendly & very professional. She replaced my glass screen and also installed a screen saver on my XR I phone. Of course, everyone feels naked without their phone and I'm do different. I explained to Riley that I had an operation within a few days & I was waiting for pertinent phone calls from my nurse, so I asked her to repair my phone as quickly as possible. Normal turn times are 2-4 hours but she had it repaired within an hour. This is what I call excellent customer service and from now on and whenever we need repairs our phone repairs, we will contact Riley and also refer her to our friends as well. I highly recommend Ubreakifix and Riley to take care of your phone repairs and their cost were 25% least then their competitor. read more

Did a great job ordering and replacing battery in LG that required a technition to replace it.

This place has gotta to be the worse place to bring your electronics. I brought my iPhone 7plus in for a new battery. First they tell me it's probably something with the motherboard and they can't figure it out because none of the batteries they've tried are powering the phone on it only powers on with the original battery they suggest taking it to their Happyvalley location so I picked the phone up halfway on the drive home I go to check it out and the home button is not working well everything was working fine before I brought the phone in so I'll bring it back to them. they replace the home button/screen and now all the sudden the battery they tried is working and they won't explain to me why. so very fishy there I go to pick my phone up with the new battery and the new home button/screen I want to make sure everything was working so I asked them if they checked everything they said yes I put a Sim card in the phone go to make a phone call and the microphone is not working And every time I put it on speakerphone it automatically takes itself off of speakerphone I also noticed that they damaged my frame replacing the screen so go back in and tell them and the guy says there's nothing they could do about it. So I asked for the manager she also informed me that there's nothing they can do about my damaged frame they have to use a metal pry tool and that damages The aluminum frame so I bring my phone in for just the battery and they broke the home button and the microphone and damaged my frame and tell me there's nothing they can do about it except for fix the stuff that they broke don't ever bring your stuff here. They literally destroyed a start up business because their employees can't take notes and deleted 19 months of data. I asked for a diagnostic on my Surface Pro. I told them one of the things I had done was to try to reset while keeping my files. It didn't work when I did it, that's why I asked for help. Thinking they knew more than me was a mistake. These are kids who have Google. They sat on device for three days, Googling things. They didn't call me and I called when they were closed. To make up for the poor communication, not to mention the inability to fix the device, the owner offered to bring the device to another location. I was impressed with that offer. I thought that meant this was turning around. Wary of more poor communication, I asked the owner, Brian, to please have the new location to discuss the repair before any thing was completed. The Peoria location said the owner gave them authorization to factory reset the device and they didn't call me until after it was completed. Both locations act like there was nothing they could have done different. They literally could care less that they destroyed months of work and that it was done without anyone using common sense -- like asking the owner before factory resetting the computer. read more

Same issue as most. They use cheap parts to repair and charge premium prices. Just go to the maker and get it fixed correctly with quality parts. I had my screen fixed here because it cracked when I closed the trunk of my car on it. Before this incident I had dropped my phone no less than 100 times with no issues. I dropped my phone after they replaced the screen from about 6 inches off the floor and it's cracked again, and I can feel just how thin the new glass is. Wasted 100 bucks read more
