    I have been a loyal Best Buy customer ever since my father first took me there to buy a computer desk and a computer. I even recently purchased a new washing machine at the store near where i live earlier this year, and I was given a gift card as a promotional offer (see attached photo). Today, I was subjected to extremely poor treatment by the staff. It's my first time visit this location's. The employees kept giving me a hard time, insisting that I needed to speak with a manager for every issue. When the manager finally arrived, they completely ignored us. Things took a turn for the worse when, after a brief exchange, I was suddenly and without any notice or justification, warned that I was "Trespassing." I felt deeply insulted--I've lived in this city for 27 years and have never encountered a store manager acting like a dictator, declaring that I was invading their territory. It seemed that the manager was intoxicated by her own authority, or perhaps it was due to my Asian background. I couldn't help but notice that most of the customers in the store were white, and this city has a predominantly white population, which made me feel that I was being discriminated against. From the moment I entered, no one offered to assist me or greet me. I would rather toss the gift card they gave me into the trash than step foot in a store that defines me as trespassing. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all costs--don't let their so-called "authority" bully or discriminate against you.

    Brand new TV I paid $3500 for with no factory straps as well as no remote control inside the box and no cable to plug it into the wall

    Customer service is essentially nonexistent, purchased a brand new $3500 TV at this location just to find out that the box had already been opened because there was no cord to plug it into the wall, including no remote that came with the TV..... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not ever ever ever buy anything from this Best Buy ever again and save yourself the heartache and pain and misery because once something goes wrong and you need to actually speak with a person or a human being, you might as well forget about it because it's not gonna happen. Brand new TV as you can see loading it up into my truck with no straps on it and found out it had already been opened once I brought it home (look @ pics below)...

Communication with Sam prior to his arrival was prompt and courteous, and we genuinely expected a smooth visit based on those initial interactions. Unfortunately, what unfolded was the polar opposite. Sam arrived at our home on time and was guided to the laundry area where we explained the issue. Without further discussion, he dropped his tool bag and immediately demanded the $80 home warranty service fee--before even beginning diagnostics. When we asked how to remit payment electronically, things took an unexpected turn. Sam became visibly agitated. He handed us a piece of paper containing only generic dispatch notes from the warranty company--no payment instructions, no personal contact info, no business credentials. When we reiterated we were ready and willing to pay electronically via Zelle (or any other method he preferred), he crossed his arms, huffed, and flat-out refused to engage. Within moments, he picked up his tools and stormed out of our home without saying another word. It was abrupt, unprofessional, and left us stunned. We immediately contacted our home warranty provider, who assured us they reached out to Sam directly. Despite several attempts, Sam refused to return to complete the service call and would not acknowledge or accept any explanation from their team. In over 35 years of homeownership, I have never been treated this way by a service professional. If Sam was having a difficult day or dealing with a personal matter, a simple call to reschedule would have been understandable. But to show up, behave aggressively, and leave without cause or communication is unacceptable. No apology has been offered, and two days have passed with zero follow-up--so it is safe to say none is coming. We treated Sam with respect and kindness. All we asked for was the same in return.

    You know I've lost my marbles when I confess to going to the biggest, newest, friendliest,…read moreimmaculate hardware store in Corona to buy... wait for it... HOMEMADE pies. OK, the hardware store is great too. In fact, it is so mind boggling, big and beautifully stocked, we made a point of bringing the grandkids another time. Just as I suspected, they found things they never knew would be in a hardware store. Fun things like Lego sets, garden art, candy, toys, ice cream, kiddee pools. But my primary interest, and latest chatter around town, was to check out their freezer case which was filled with a variety of frozen fruit pies from The Pie Co. in Ripon CA. Why Ripon is notable? If you know anything about Ripon, you already know it is an unremarkable little town in Central California. It happens to be in the San Joaquin Valley, California's rich heartland. Nearby are vast fruit and nut orchards and rural roads lined with wild blackberry bushes. Apparently, around 2008, some rolling-pin-wielding granny saw real potential here, started a business making these frozen, (mostly) fruit pies, and best of all, distributed them through premiere Ace Hardware stores. These nostalgic pies might even bring tears to your eyes... peach, apricot, rhubarb, boysenberry, apple, pumpkin, to name a few. While I have had better, more flakey crusts, the real treasure is the generous,natural fruit fillings with minimal sugar and less thickener. They're really good. If that's not enough, Ace Hardware is cleverly marketing their own brand of ice cream sandwiches in several different flavors. But the clincher is, they sell them for 8c. Yes, eight cents. How to resist? You dont. They only allow one per customer. But that has not stopped me from a second, same-day visit after hitting up Trader Joe's and Claro,'s famous Italian market found in the same center, The Shops at Dos Lagos. I bring my ice chest. For now, I have pretty much ignored the long aisles of the most incredible, abundant, inventory, tools, hardware, or any of the other fascinating gadgets, toys, supplies they carried. That will come soon enough. But there is no argument this is a very special store. Glad to have a hardware store with a hometown feel and friendly faces.
