After speaking with customer service, I was informed of added charges that should not have been on my account to begin with. However, Noel made it seem as if those charges were set for everyone. Additionally, Noel stated I needed to have mandatory insurance for 2 weeks and I would need to speak to customer service to comp that. Come to find out, the insurance was NOT mandatory, but optional. He must get bonus points for adding additional charges unbeknownst to the consumer. read more

LIARS. My bill is $75/month more than what they told me in the store. It's WAY more than I was paying with TMobile and I wouldn't have switched had they been honest. I'm now locked into a 30 month contract with a $251/month for TWO LINES!! The 30 months is another thing I was not aware of - it was supposed to two years with a one year upgrade. That is $2250 just for the extra monthly charge, and $1506 for the extra months that I am out because of these guys. Unless you want to throw that kind of money away, GO ELSEWHERE. You can't trust what they say. At least go to a different store where you will get real amounts. read more

Wow the only thing I can say is thanks for the new iPhones but that's where it ends. We went here to upgrade our phones to either iPhone 12 or 13. We dealt with Carlos and his manager. My husband was able to turn in his iPhone X for value towards a new phone. They said my iPhone 8+ was not worth anything and could not get anything towards a new phone. That's not true. I got a phone anyway regardless. We went online and it was worth $350. My husband communicated that to him the next day. Carlos refused to listen and said it was only available online. After speaking with an AT&T representative on the phone we can get that deal at any AT&T store. The frustrating part about this Carlos stopped returning messages and we ended up going to another location that had no problem taking my old 8+. Their customer service skills need a little bit of sharpening too. No eye contact towards customers. Let me know when you guys read the promotions so you can better serve your clients. read more

I wish I would've dealt with the wonderful Esmerelda mentioned in the previous comments. I had an absolutely terrible experience here with Lance. Not only was he completely uninterested in helping me, he did exactly the opposite of what I asked. The first thing out of my mouth this afternoon was that I wanted to upgrade my phone and felt a little dissatisfied with the cost of my monthly bill. I told him I was interested in exploring things that may lower the cost a bit. Lance did the following: -Added $10 more data to my plan -Added an additional line and handed me a "free" tablet -Added insurance to my new phone (something I've never had on a single one of my cell phones in the past) -Added insurance to the tablet that I didn't want -Told me he could use the commission when I insisted that I didn't want the tablet -Lied about the cost of the tablet, additional data, and insurance Mind you, I am just an authorized user on this account. The account holder was not present, did not consent to the additional line, and my ID was never checked. I left feeling unsure of my wireless plan and definitely not convinced that a single effort to save me money for was made. This man was openly in it solely for the commission. I immediately drove to a corporate AT&T store in tears, where the man there helped me reverse everything Lance added to my account, return the stupid tablet I didn't want, and file a formal complaint with the corporate office. In the end, the nice man at the corporate location was able to work out a plan that suited my needs and lowered my monthly bill by $45! Hello my name is Sean I went to AT&T to activate a phone for my daughter. Together as a family we have 4 AT&T smart phones. The sales rep there start to explain how he can save us money by adding more services does this sound familiar to anyone? He told me we should switch over all our TVs and save a bunch of money, lol...... We told him we were happy with her TV provider but we would be willing to try out the Internet service. The selling point on the Internet service was exactly this, The AT&T rep said they will run fiber optic all the way up to my house. That was my number one..... He also stated it would be $47 a month for 12 months.... My wife said immediately what happens after 12 months Will the bill go up? The sales rep said oh no all you have to do is renew your contract and we would never charge you more money that's the reason you switched... That's lie #2... Lol fast-forward two years later spotty Internet service at best half the time not working. Countless hours on the phone with AT&T apologizing. They want to charge $70 a month for a service that never worked in the first place. Now my neighbors Internet is not working and they ran a cable from my house to his helped house to keep this going cause their service is so bad none of our services are working. Bottom line worst customer service ever. It is amazing to me if I treated my customers like this I would not be in business. We are switching to cable and hoping for the best. AT&T is a bunch of Cons and Frauds! I ordered internet service. The guy comes in plugs in a box (my place was already wired) and then proceeds to tell me that my area is not set up for high speed. However, I am pretty close to the access point so I should be able to call and get a higher speed. What a LIE! Not only did they charge 99$ to plug in a box, there is no faster speed available no matter how close or far you are from the box. When I called they said they would forgo the set up fee, and let me know when faster speeds are available in my area! Guess what? They billed me the 99 dollar to plug in a box. Then refused to take it off. Haha, saying they "dont have the ability to." When I called and asked to speak with a manager, they just passed the call around!" WARNING!! Went into add a new line to an existing account and the workers kept claiming I needed to put down a $1000 deposit because it was the 6th line on the account. I sat in the parking lot and logged into my account and added the new line with no money down. Then called Att customer support to see if I could pick up the phone in store instead of being shipped. Customer support informed me that no deposit should have been asked for and that even if a deposit was needed it would never be that high. Formal complaint was made with corporate Att and they even knew the employees name that tried to scam me. I didn't even know his name until they told me. I walked back in the store and let him know I spoke with Att and asked why he was asking for the deposit. His response was " I didn't do anything illegal". I didn't even mention anything about legal or not so why is that his response? Be warned this is not a corporate Att store but only an authorized dealer. The repair techs are always wonderful....I've met about 20 of them within the past year. If someone sneezes too close to the equipment, I have to call a tech out to get my internet up....u-verse is shit. No other word for it. It's wasted countless hours on the phone, only to have a tech come to fix it a day or two later. Time warner is coming out to replace Internet/phone/cable and I can't me happier. After our fiasco with DirecTV (see my review), we decided to give U-Verse TV a try and consolidate U-Verse internet bill together. From scheduling the service to follow-up, everything went smoothly. Due to Easter weekend, the install dispatch crew was swamped and our installation was pushed back 4 hours. That's okay, because they updated us every step of the way via SMS text and emails. The installer also called before arriving just to ensure we were still home. Actual install took about 40 minutes. The DVR and cable box makes recording and navigating TV shows and channels a cinch. We could even schedule and record TV shows and series online. We/re thoroughly satisfied customers. Pro-tip: If you absolutely need to call in and speak with an agent, call between 8am-5pm PST, M-F. You will be connected to someone in states. Any other time, you'll be sent to a call center overseas (India or Philippines). read more

Just call Cox and they will match AT&T rate (100Mbps for $60) and won't lock you into a contract. These clowns are awful at communicating and holding up their commitments. I've easily called them over 20 times and taken 3 days off of work for 3-4 internet installation appointments and still nothing. I thought Cox was bad, but AT&T makes them look amazing. read more

First, I am kicking myself for changing from Verizon to AT&T. My entire experience has been beyond horrible starting with this store. I called when they were not quite open and they answered my call. I explain that I wanted to change to them and they open a few minutes early so I can change carrier. So far, good experience. Then I was told I would get credit for turning in my old cell, I thought great I will put it towards a new one. I was wrong it was store credit only. Everything I wanted they were out of. Even through the phone is in the store you can't use it towards a phone. Interesting logic. He talked me into a tablet and told me it would be 10 a month for the service. What ever I been there an hour already sure lets do it. As I was setting up my phone I had lots of trouble. Now this sales man Rodney was no help. It took me 3 hours to connect my phone and I had to figure it out myself. I finally got to use it a few days later on a call and I dropped my call 5 times and if it wasn't dropping it cut in and out. It was super frustrating. I NEVER EVER HAD THIS PROBLEM with VERIZON. Same area and crystal clear and I never lost a call with them. This was foreign to me. I call tech support and they ran some diagnostic and said it might be the phone to call Apple. As I was working on fixing my phone we were going through my bill to find out they are charging me 40 for data on my tablet. I freaked out and told them what I was told and they said the 10 are for people with out the unlimited plan. They would not budge and now I am returning the table and now out my credit and phone. (Sell your phone on your own; you will get more and less hassle than the store). After AT&T I called Apple. Apple run some diagnostic to find out that I had a dud phone just like I suspected. Time so far working on this 10 hours between the store and tec support. I tried calling the store to get my phone back and they never answered the phone again. I tried for 3 days to call the store. I would have gone down there but I had to work and couldn't make it during their hours. Here what made it more frustrating is AT&T will not handle the warranty. I had to pay shipping to Apple for my new phone. The store was out. I got the new phone, the reception is a little better but nowhere as good as Verizon. I live in a populated area. I can't believe AT&T can't provide better cell service. I want to warn you if you have Verizon, do not change. They are by far a better carrier all around. They even handle phone replacement there. Total time working on getting my phone to work with all the calls is over 12 hours and AT&T doesn't care. Real nice! read more

Couldn't be more any more satisfied with the help from Nadine and David AT&T sent me a email regarding iphone 7 upgrade by sept 30th but they ended it early without giving customers notice so when I went in to get 3 iPhone 7 the promotion had expired they helped me deal with the matter through a AT&T supervisor to honor the promotion and even stayed over an hour after closing time to do so!!
