    I use a Fitbit Luxe to track my sleep statistics. My Fossil hybrid smartwatch tracks my daily steps and sleep, but it oddly doesn't sync my sleep stats to our corporate fitness app. Weird! I am used to wearing both my watch and Fitbit at night. It was strange at first. When I attempted to charge my Fitbit Luxe at the start of this trip, nothing happened. After plugging it into multiple USB outlets around my hotel room, I deemed my charging cable dead. The following day, I decided to drive over to this Best Buy, which is a five-minute drive away from the hotel. It's across from Kyoto Sushi. There was plenty of parking. I backed into a spot and walked in. I found the Fitbit section. I only saw a charger for the Versa. Nooo! A bit sad, I left the section. A male staff member approached me and asked if I needed any help. I let him know that I was looking for a Luxe charging cable, but didn't see one. We headed to the Fitbit section. Yep, I wasn't losing my mind. There wasn't one. He pulled out his phone and looked at the inventory. He said that be could ship it to me. I let him know that I wasn't a local and wanted to pick it up. The estimated pickup time was a week later on a Saturday, a couple of days before I headed home. I was good with it. He led me over to a payment area smack in the middle of the store, by the Dyson products. There was a desk with seats, so we sat down to arrange shipment to the store. Since I wasn't a local, we used the hotel address as mine. I also gave him my local cell number, to get text messages about my order. I paid with a credit card. All went well. I also got an e-mail confirmation about my order. I thanked the man for his help and contently left the store with my receipt. On Wednesday, I received a notification that my order was ready to be picked up. It arrived early! After work, I returned to this store. When you enter the store, the pickup counter is on the right. You basically confirm through the e-mail or text message that you are at the store and a barcode appears. I approached the counter and had a nice man fetch my order after he scanned the barcode. He gave me my little box containing the cable. I thanked him and wished him a great day. He reciprocated. This store has superb customer service. It's frankly unusual for any Best Buy! My charging cable works like a charm. My sleep stats are back, syncing up correctly with all my apps. I'd come back here to shop again. It was enjoyable doing a bit of browsing. As much as I'd love an arcade machine, it would cost me quite a bit to bring it back home. If you want one, it's here! (106)

    Our home Best Buy. Really, 1st review? Well, ok. We used to go to Bloomington, but way to crazy busy & had to stop when all the construction was going on. This location became our new favorite. The location is good, large parking lot, near other electronic chains so you can check prices & models easily. Best Buy has them beat usually. Especially when you include the knowledgable staff, service warranties, and ease of return or exchange. If you are asking serious questions, go during the weekdays, during the day. Weekends tend to have the less experienced staff that may not have all the knowledge & business saavy of more experienced staff.

I ordered online, but called to make sure I was ordering the correct part for my model cooktop. They recommended and sent the wrong part. So, I called today to see if I could send it back and get the correct part.* I wasn't asking for a refund. After speaking with a woman for some time I asked to speak with the owner. Don reiterated that I was calling more than a year past their return policy and that there was nothing he could do because he didn't know who I spoke with. It doesn't matter who I spoke with, it is his company and it's his policy. Reading the recent reviews it seems the current ownership/management has a few very unhappy customers. I'm one of them. (*They don't have the correct part)

    Our fridge died last Christmas. Thankfully, we live in Mn! The outdoors helped keep our food from…read moregoing bad. We quickly searched up and then decided on getting a new one from a small business. After our in store visit and finding what we wanted, with a better warranty and price than the big company offered, we paid. We skipped the delivery and haul away as we are capable and I wanted to give the community a chance to part out the fridge (appliance parts are $$$$) for no cost. Also made it lighter for us taking to drop off for recycling. Fast forward 11 months, we decided our washer and dryer had been fixed enough times and it was time to upgrade. Again, we found better pricing and warranty at Appliance Depot. Our 3 appliances are doing great. The one service call we made, for the fridge, was soon after the request was made, repair person was timely, and we had a laugh at the user error that prompted the call to begin with. Fast forward again, and we need a microwave. Likely a dishwasher coming up too. We will be going back to Appliance Depot!
