I purchased a refrigerator, washer and dryer for the Fourth of July weekend since I'm moving into a new home. They were set to be delivered today on July 17, and they sent me a broken and defective fridge. I get a call stating that I have to wait until the item is returned back to their distribution center for their system update and for them to start the process of getting me a working refrigerator. Ultimately, she said that she couldn't even give me a time or date when this refrigerator could be delivered to my home. When I asked for any type of options or help with this matter, she turned me away and told me there was nothing that she could do because she has to follow policies. Now I'm moving into a new home with no refrigerator that I purchased several weeks ago and Best Buy didn't even try to do anything to fix the problem or make it better. read more

Best Buy is the ultimate Grinch. They stole both Thanksgiving and Christmas from my family. We purchased an expensive double oven from them and bought the extended 5-year warranty. At the beginning of November of this year, the oven stopped working. We contacted them, and they ordered parts. The technician was unable to get it to work. They ordered more parts. More time passed, and the technician was still unable to get it to work. They ordered more parts, and the technician still was unable to get it to work. We lost Thanksgiving and had to go out to eat for the first holiday ever. They didn't care. They ordered more parts. They were delayed. They rescheduled the appointment, and now we won't have a working oven for Christmas. They say they don't know exactly what is wrong with it, but they won't replace the oven. They tell me that I have to continue with this process. My wife is irate, and my friends are telling me to take them to small claims court for failing to stand by their product. So my message to you is to not buy from Best Buy if you value your family holidays. We are having a HO - HO - NO Christmas. read more

Great customer service, strong knowledge base, expansive selection ,and truly customer centered care. I always did like that best buy had all the experts and most expansive electronics selection. But I haven't bought anything from Best buy in a long time because I just prefer to work with Costco or Target since trust their customer service and they have usually the best price, so it was just easier to assume that that was the best way to go. However, I'm glad I recently stumbled upon the new Best Buy which must have instituted a lot of new customer focused policies because they really impressed me with how far they're willing to go to help me. I'm very disappointed with Best Buy's customer service. I purchased a laptop online and picked it up at the store. Their website clearly states that online purchases can be returned, but when I went in to do just that, they refused. To make it worse, once I mentioned I wanted to buy a more expensive laptop, suddenly they said they could process the return. This feels dishonest and misleading. A return policy should be consistent and honored no matter what. I shouldn't have to "upgrade" just to get the service that was promised. I went to this Best Buy today to pick up my online order, and the experience was absolutely unacceptable. When I walked in, there were no clear signs for "Online Pickup," so I asked a staff member where to go. He told me, "Bay 2 and Bay 3." I went there and simply looked around -- I didn't touch anything, because all the items on the shelves were small products and my order was a TV. Then out of nowhere, a female employee shouted at me from behind, saying, "Sir, you don't belong there!" Moments later, a male employee came up and rudely confronted me, demanding to know why I was there. I explained that another staff member had told me to go to that area to pick up my order. Instead of listening, he kept questioning me aggressively, saying "Which guy?" in a very hostile tone. I said, "It was someone wearing the same uniform as you -- glasses, beard. I don't work here, how am I supposed to know your names? He told me to come here to pick up my order. I'm not here to steal anything." His attitude was incredibly mean and unprofessional. When I finally received my order, I saw the same staff member who had originally told me to go there -- but he was just passing by and didn't step in to clarify the situation. So I looked at the rude employee and said, "That's the guy who told me to come here. I don't work here, I'm just here to pick up my order -- so don't give me that attitude." The whole experience was humiliating and frustrating. I've never been treated this disrespectfully in a store before. We've visited this location for a few items, but tend to not buy things; we tend to check out the stock and maybe actually hold the item that we're thinking of getting. This location is also a little difficult to get into because of the busy shopping centers and streets (especially Limonite), so we try to not venture over if we can help it. I know shopping online is the rage for the past several years, but there are just some occasions where trying to order from an online store (or Amazon) just isn't as fast as going to a store for a very last-minute, somewhat-emergency purchase. We have done an "order online for pickup at store" situation, and it was ready in a couple hours when I could drop by after work. So, the convenience of that was kind of nice. I did have to find someone to eventually help me at the pick-up area. Staff-wise, everyone's been helpful and nice, so 5 stars here. I think my biggest gripe on Best Buy is their "rewards" and their credit card, though it's not at the fault of this store but Best Buy in general. Would advise strongly against it, if they try to offer it to you. Prices are MSRP, so no real deals here. Sometimes, a couple dollars difference, but it's not worth the cost of gas to visit. Best Buy is at the very edge of the center, so there's always parking! read more

Tried to take it to Best Buy and explained what happened and was told they cannot help me. I saw that they had a PS5 in stock so I ordered via the Best Buy app. Everything was extremely fast.. it might have been less than 30 min when I got a notification that my order was ready for pickup. I stopped by right after work to pickup my order. There's signage inside to find the pickup area if you don't want to do curbside, and checkout was a breeze. I purchased an online order. When I went into the Best Buy in Eastvale, I was told by the manager and employee that even though my order was for pick up at Chino, it would be a very simple process to pick up that laptop at my current location. In essence instead of just letting me pick up the laptop as I intended to, they canceled my order completely and then told me I had to buy the laptop again. But my refund for my laptop would not be available in my bank until 10 business days. I left in tears because I walked out with $700 less in my account and no computer. These people did not help me and they offered me no solution. I wish they would've just let me go pick up my laptop in Chino Hills like I intend. If I could give this less than one star, I would I also had a contact Best Buy headquarters. Hopefully, they can resolve how incompetent these employees were. read more

I have been in the customer service industry for over 20 years, and one thing I've always liked, is when a customer asked me for my opinion on the item they are about to purchase. I give them my 2 cents, and they can do with it what they want. But what do you do when the salesperson, only wants to give you facts and options? I'm not in your industry, I didn't do any research. So why won't you tell me your opinion on certain items I want to buy? I spent over $3500 and I still feel like I was shafted. I'm still confused about what I bought, and I'm not even really sure if I want to keep it, or return it. Salesman number one, we will call him "G". Showed me 20 different options of televisions, told me what each one does, and why I was making a mistake from purchasing TV "A" vs TV "B"...What? All I want is an 85" flat screen tv with the best visual. That's it, nothing more, nothing less...So Mr G, you know I want an 85" tv, why are you offering me smaller televisions? You know my budget is $1000-$1500, why are you offering me $3000 tv's? OLED, QLED, wtf is that? I don't care. I want an 85" tv with the best visual output....Whacha got? Oh but wait Mr G. I also want a sound bar with a bass, which one do you recommend? Oh you don't know? My budget is ANOTHER $1000-$1500...For a decent sound bar/surround sound... It was like pulling teeth!! Finally after pissing me off, and pissing my wife off. We picked the Sony Bravia x80. And a Bose 700 sound bar...Also picked up my sons curved monitor for his gaming.....$3500 later, and I'm still pretty upset. Manager Chris. I Love you bro! Disappointing Return Policy: Two Weeks vs. Standard 30 Days. But they are willing to wave that "Policy" if I pay them $53.86 for one of their BS memberships. I recently made a purchase at Best Buy and was deeply disappointed by their return policy. Unlike many other retailers, who offer a 30-day return window, Best Buy imposes a mere 2-week period for returns. This short timeframe severely limits customers' flexibility and is completely out of touch with industry standards. Yes, I have to take some responsibility for working not checking their return policy before purchasing, and for sitting on the return thinking I had 30 days. It wasn't woking properly from day one. I didn't return it right away instead I did some research and contacted the manufacturer. After updating drivers and such, that didn't work so I decided to try a different make that Best Buy didn't carry. After receiving that replacement and it working properly I decided to return the one that wasn't. Come to find out that they wont give me a refund because I was 5 DAYS over their 2-weekBest return policy. Andrew the Best Buy manager would only offer to waive this policy if I signed up for their Bust Buy + membership for $53.86. He was very helpful and told me they've had this policy for years (sarcasm). He did however offer me store credit. However this being a very pricy item I and I just spent that money again to replace it, I just wanted my money back. Also after learning about their policy and their unwillingness to bend seeing that I missed it by ONLY 5 DAYS. I was unwilling to have them hold on to my money until I needed something form them. I begrudgingly paid the $53.86 to get the rest of my money back and unless I absolutely have to I don't think I'll be shopping with them again. Not with so many other covenant ways to shop these days. It bums me out to see a company treat customers this way. I like to support the brick-and-mortar when I can and the employees who rely on them for work. I just can't understand it when a company does stuff like this. I'm not asking for much. There was nothing the manager could do to help me since the holiday return policy ended yesterday. The item and box are brand new condition other than opened and never been used. I saw that they had an open box item online and saw that their geek squad protection was 77 dollars for two year protection that particular item. It was later during the night where I decided to just go to the store and pick it up. I found the item in store and decided to check out. The register showed the same price as it was online and when the cashier asked if I wanted geek squad protection I asked how much it was and he told me 100 dollars for two year protection. I said wait a minute on your website for this item it is showing 77 dollars for the same 2 year protection. I even pulled out my phone and showed him the price. He said there is nothing he can do about it and he can't price match it at all even though it's on their own website. He seemed like he didn't care at all to help out or to see what he can do. I said what if I buy the item online and just take the item and he said we can't do that we would have to wait the next day to pick it up and blah blah blah even though I have the item right in my hands. I asked if he can get a manager to come over to price match the geek quad protection online and he radio the manager but they didn't bother coming over and helping out they just said they can't do anything about it. So I said eff it I'll just buy it as is and call it a day as I have driven pretty far to get this item. I'm pissed off that they can't even help out or anything. As much as I like going to Best Buy it makes me very hesitant to buy any future products from them knowing you might not get any help with the products after purchase or during purchase. Great service the guy who helped me was super nice quick service. I had my iPad disabled for maybe two years and I tried fixing it myself. It didn't work so I took it to Best Buy, but assuming that I would have to pay for something and no cost totally free no fee no nothing he helped me a lot And I really appreciate his service. I do not remember his name, but he was really quick. He was super nice and helped me a lot with my iPad. Five out of five stars definitely recommend I did think there was gonna be a fee. I thought I was gonna have to pay something. Maybe $40 maybe 100 and nope nothing! I didn't have any fee and I really do recommend going. Best Buy in Eastvale should be shut down due to the horrible customer service there. They have lost my family's business forever and honestly none of the staff seemed to care that I was so disappointed with their lack of ability to serve our community. There was 1 very polite checker who tried his best to help but ultimately his hands were tied by the store's lackluster approach towards customer service. Eastvale is a community based city and most businesses in the area are usually have a great community outreach program but not Best Buy, I have often simply forgotten that they are still open in the Eastvale Gateway Shopping Center because of how far removed that they are from community engagement. I can't say enough negative things about the store because it is a dead space to me and my family at this point. I ended up taking my business to Costco and I am so glad that I did because I was able to purchase the items I tried to purchase at Best Buy for less cost and with a greater degree of customer appreciation from the Costco staff. read more
