Apple made an appointment for me at a very specific time to go to the Evansville Indiana Best Buy in order to get my iPhone back glass replaced. it was cracked at the bottom so Apple Care+ takes care of that for a small fee. When I got to Best Buy, the tech said he didn't have the part. So I asked him if he could order it. he said I had to leave my phone with him for him to order the part and it would be back and ready for me to pick up after 5 days or more. When I said I wasn't going to leave my phone and asked why he couldn't order a part like literally every other business in the entire world, he said it was policy. Well, it's a stupid policy. Best Buy has stupid policies that don't jive with reality and Apple is more stupid for working with Best Buy; they're best at nothing. Thank you for letting me drive 40 minutes one way to be told that you and your store are worthless. Monday I'll drive to Louisville, 2 hours away, and have the closest Apple Store fix my phone, you jack-wagons. Be better, don't be you. read more

They refused to serve me because of my religious beliefs, and the manager Stephanie was one of the rudest, most unprofessional people I've ever spoken to. The man in the front named Charles was cordial and polite and tried to accommodate me but the manager in the computer section and Stephanie refused to serve me. I was prepared to make a 2500 dollar purchase and I drove and hour to get here. Truly unbelievable. I will give my business to someone that knows how to treat customers with respect. Very impressed with my last visit. I came here a lot when I lived closer to town, but we came in for Black Friday weekend this year and I was very impressed. The selection was great, everything was well-stocked despite the number of shoppers, and plenty of folks in blue shirts were around to help out. (Maybe too many?) We were able to get in and out really quickly, and the checkout process was quick and easy. I've been to this Best Buy many times. There is a consistent lack of customer service each time I've gone in or called. In-store, it can be very difficult to find help without actively searching for an associate. Also, anytime I've tried to call them, I could never get anyone to answer the phone. So, ultimately, I would just drive to the store and figure out the answer to my own questions. So, overall, customer service is terrible but, they have a large selection of PC components, so at least they should have what you need. read more

I went to Best Buy to pick up my fathers Fridge we were getting him for early Father's Day present. It was contactless curbside pickup which I thought was great. So an hour drive to and from to pick this up was ok since they would be doing the work. Since it was such a big item I was nervous about going by myself but figured no problem picking it up since they would surely strap it down for me after getting it on the truck. Well what happened was they barely put it on the truck and then when I asked about strapping it down was told no they cant do that and was told to call my husband or look it up on YouTube. RUDE. Then being I was in a dress and sandals, I grabbed some leggings to throw on so nobody would see anything when I was getting up on the back of my truck. Then I get up there and proceed to try and figure out how to strap this fridge to my truck bed. After about 20 mins trying to figure it out i got it strapped it (i had hoped). Then as I was getting down, remind you that im in sandals being i wasnt planning on having to do anything other than pickup, I start to get down and slip off my truck bed banging my knee up pretty good. Does anybody come over to see if im alright? Nope. So I get in my truck and have blood coming down my knee, it's scrapped, bruised and swelling up. Now, day 1 after it happened, can barely bend my knee and it's a nice pretty color. Thanks Best Buy. Your customer service is lacking tremendously and just being decent human beings and trying to assist in some form without telling me, it's my problem I have to deal with it. The website advertised free shipping, however, when I attempted to purchase, the website said it was not available to ship to home or store in my area, Evansville, Indiana. I called local and corporate customer service to find out why I couldn't purchase the tv. That was a joke! I never got to talk to a real person. The worst customer service experience ever. I Purchased 35 televisions in November and December for a promotion. Have been fighting with best buy, and sharp back and forth since the first of December, now four months after purchase they recommend we call ups......this after the "geek squad" indicated none of the failures where due to shipping, complete pass of the buck. Customer service replaced 2 of them after hours on the phone but said I could only do one at a time. The Evansville best buy store manager told me that was done in error AND I should be thankful I got 2 replaced because it was a mistake. "Thankful" I don't think describes how I feel. Will not do business here again. Update: It is worth noting I purchased 24 televisions from HHGREGG with no problems and 17 from KINGS appliance with zero problems. So you have choices. well. we live about an hour and a half away from this best buy, and we called in order to ask about a product on their website to see if they had it in stock before we drove all the way there, and after 20 minutes of being put on hold i decided to speak to a manager, since it would literally take 2 minutes for them to search up the item on their SKU system. About 30 minutes into being on hold we find a friend who had what we need and who drives across states lines to us so that we could borrow the item (were still on hold at this point). we hung up after 50 minutes of being put on hold at this place with NO customer service/employee interaction, I don't think I've ever in my life been on hold for almost an hour in the middle of the day anywhere. I have never experienced worse customer service anywhere. I received a phone call that my computers were ready. When I went to pick it up I waited for almost 50 minutes without an acknowledgement from any of the staff. When I asked how much longer, I was told they'll get to me when they get to me. I couldn't wait any longer so I left. When we came back to pick it up today the same experience... still a wait for 45 minutes and only one computer was completed. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone! Last Saturday, I looked online to find a power supply for my desktop computer. Best Buy (and lots of other places had them), but Best Buy had one on sale that would do the job. So I checked to make sure that they had it in stock. The website said they had them in stock. So I drove 50 miles to Best Buy in Evansville, IN only to be told that they could not find the one I was looking for. Right then, I was prepared to buy a more expensive one, but the clerk said that they could order one on sale and I would have it on Tuesday. Because I had come so far, there would be no shipping charge. So I bought it. Tuesday came and went, Wednesday came and went and Thursday came and went. About 4 o'clock Thursday, after the UPS truck went by, I again drove 50 miles to Evansville. I explained the problem and was told that they didn't have the one I ordered in stock and I could wait or cancel the order. The Supervisor told me that they had no other power supplies - three times she told me that. I explained to her that they had a whole shelf of power supplies. The best they could do for me was give me the more expensive power supply that I was prepared to buy last Saturday for the price it was last Saturday or I could return the power supply if it ever arrived. So Best Buy's inventory system is not good and their employees just flat out lied. I was told last Saturday that the power supply would be here on Tuesday, today they said it was always scheduled for Thursday. Again, if I had known that I would have bought the more expensive unit. Usually I order things from B & H Photo in New York City. If I had done that on Saturday, I would have had the power supply on Tuesday. Lesson Learned! The only good news is that when I got home tonight, the power supply that I ordered last Saturday was here. It came from Shepherdsville, Ky, about 125 miles from here. Good job, Best Buy! read more

I purchased an HP laptop six weeks ago. I use it for my business which is a proprietorship. I was promised that they could transfer my e-mail folders over from old to new. They didn't do it when I picked it up. So I had to make the one hour trip to Evansville again to have them do it. What they did was transfer 30,000 e-mails from my old to new. The e-mails went back 8 years and were all lumped together in one folder entitled "all Mail". Now I've had it crash and I can't open anything because "couldn't load XPCOM" pops up whenever I try. I took it to the geeks today and they can't fix it without me leaving it for 3-5 days. I can't do that. The same guy I saw today was the same guy that promised me the world when I was deciding to buy. I'm 72 years old and know nothing about computers other than what I use for my work. I've purchased three other computers from Best Buy in Cedar Rapids with absolutely no problem. The guys at the Evansville store just want me to go away. I'm seriously considering taking legal action against them if for no other reason than to hopefully prevent others from having the same thing happen to them. read more
