When I arrived to look at the truck, I met Mark and he was so genuine--which was like a breath of fresh air compared to all the other dealers I had visited. I needed a 4runner I could trust wouldn't break down on me that was also in my budget. Since I'm not a mechanic, that meant I needed to trust who I was buying from. The owner Mr Moiz was pleasant and kind enough to tell me if there is any issue with the car I can bring it back to his shop and he will try and fix it. He did try fixing the rear switch of my window unfortunately he doesn't have any spare working switch. I was used car shopping across 3-4 models for 6+ weeks all throughout southern California looking for the perfect deal. It did not exist. Every single time I got to the final out-the-door price EVERY used car dealer in LA or OC threw in a last second fee or hidden cost that made the final price due ridiculously higher than what the price was advertised (+ the usual tax and registration). Then I came to check out a 2014 Chevy Volt at Best Buy (sold by Mark). He was the absolute most friendly, transparent and straight-forward sales guy I met through the the entire sales process. The mileage was a little higher than quoted so he knocked the price down a couple hundred bucks. The registration was only valid for 6 months so he cut the registration cost in half for me. Everything was fair, reasonable and all facts were on the table. I happily walked away with my vehicle and finally lived happily ever after after a painful 6 week experience elsewhere. Word to the wise, do not go to any car dealership to even test drive the vehicle until they give you the final out-the-door price with all fees. 99% of the time it's significantly marked up at the last second. This was a salvage title and he gave me a good price on a very nice car (better than any other dealer's price for similar), and took care of all the smog, registration, mailed me the plates - all for no extra charges (except for actual DMV cost for registration and sales tax). He explained the actual damage and repairs in detail, and showed me photos of the car as he purchased it with damage, so I was confident about the condition of the car. He drove the car quite a bit himself after repairs to check it's condition before sale. It has been fine since purchase with exception of 12V battery replacement, a normal repair for a car this age.
