I had a pretty decent experience purchasing my first used car here. I was able to inspect four cars and chose to test drive two. Some of them had issues that were not entirely fixable, (A/C not getting cool enough due to age, interior rust, poor-sounding radio). However, they did offer to fix/replace, (timing belt, battery) but I ultimately decided to purchase the 2016 Kia Rio Lx since it was within my all-cash budget. The listed price was $4,895 and after registration and tax, it was around $5,300. The Kia has a new AC system recently installed which was perfect for this recent CA heat. The start-up was great and the car drives well. The Bluetooth works, the radio system and speakers are awesome! The exterior obviously has some flaws being a used car and all but not overly noticeable. I love the color, yellow is my favorite color! The interior was well kept and clean. The doors and windows are manual which I don't mind much since it helps me stay accountable for ensuring I lock everything. However, I do drive with my A/C on most of the time because of the manual windows. I did notice after purchase that my middle seat doesn't have a middle seat buckle. It's been more than 30days now since I purchased last month and I am pleased with my purchase. I use this as my commuter car mainly to school and at most, I drive 30-40 miles a day. I received my pink slip and registration in the mail within a great time as well. My husband and I recently purchased a 2010 Jeep Patriot from this dealership, and our experience was extremely disappointing. We noticed unusual behavior during the process, including paperwork being prepared before we had even test-driven the vehicle. After taking the car home, we immediately experienced multiple issues, including front-end noise when braking and the transmission popping out of third gear. Within five days, the vehicle became undriveable while entering the freeway and had to be towed back to the dealership. When we returned to discuss the situation, we were met with dismissive and unprofessional behavior. Our concerns were not taken seriously, and we were told the issue was due to driver error, despite extensive experience driving manual vehicles. We attempted to resolve the issue and requested to return the vehicle, but the dealership refused to assist. We ended up handing the keys to the "owner/salesman" after he threatened to repossess the vehicle and we left. (The vehicle was already at the location. He told us to bring it in and his own mechanic showed us all the codes that the car had. Brake issues, blown turbo, engine problems. Then Casey said he's willing to trade for anything on the lot that is equal value. My wife and I thought maybe we can get a better car with no problems. We ended up going with a Jeep Compass that at the time had no warning lights and was running fine. Same thing happened with this car in three months the Jeep stopped working literally does not turn on. The most shady part is when my mechanic checked the ECU it showed that the car has way more miles than it says WHICH IS ILLEGAL!!! Where the hell is my center console replacement, you scumbag? It's almost a year since I bought my car. Soon after purchase I also had to have the engine mounts replaced at a cost of at least $400. My mechanic drove the car and that's what he found. I received the old parts that were replaced. You must have been aware that the mounts needed to be replaced when I bought the car, or if not that is a sign of your incompetency, so why would I want you to ever touch my car? It really sucks that the climate control only partially works and doesn't put out cold air on these hot days. Based on my experience you are both a swindler and an incompetent.
